I have purchased 19 art works from "Fine Art America" and have never been disappointed. Some framed and some acrylic pieces. Some have been gifts and some for my personal use. I like the variety that they display and I particularly like the acrylic format. It comes perfectly packaged and they are very easy to hang. I will continue to order from Fine Art America.
I have looked at other companies lately and still did not fine one that could compare.
First of all, when the Artist that did my painting told me he scanned my art work on Fineartamerica,I checked the site,so pleased with how the scan looks on these cards!I've ordered two sets so far & look forward to future orders.I could not be more pleased with Artist Robert Follett or fineartamerica!
I bought a beautiful picture call "StoryWorld" by Cynthia Decker.
I chose an Acrylic Print. The picture is vibrant and the perfect
choice for our computer room/den. The picture was exactly
as shown on the site. I usually do not like to buy something as
personal as a picture sight unseen. I had never used this company before. I was/am totally pleased with the whole
purchase. I received my picture very timely. It was expertly
packaged...very safe and secure. The print was beautifully
displayed and mounted on thick acrylic. The entire look is
very professional and of the highest quality. I certainly recommend this company and will use it again.
I was just looking for a nice beach scene to hang on the wall of our Maine coastal home. Besides liking the composition and colors of the painting I selected, I was most impressed by the quality of the 30"x20" archival matte print I purchased. The colors are most vibrant and the paper quality seems very good. In addition, the packaging of the print in what appeared to be an indestructible tube was excellent. I will definitely buy from fineartamerica.com again!
I am an avid collector of Bob Orsillo's fabulous photography and artwork. And I am very pleased to have his work available at Fine Art America. Stunning black and whites, images that make you think or laugh, beautiful landscapes, colorful works of nature and studies on our world and the people who reside on it. .Bob's work combined with Fine Art America's quality and customer service never disappoints.
From the order point to receipt they do avery good job
I ordered Suzeee Creates "Forest Glow" for two reasons. I needed to fill a large area in the bathroom, so I needed a material that could stand up to moisture. This piece is metal. Water does not collect on it. The second reason is the color combination. My bathroom is 1950's pink and blue tiled. It is very hard to decorate it without looking too feminine or just plain silly. This piece of artwork is visually interesting, contains pink and blue, but also has purple and black. It picks up the black accent tiles in the bathroom beautifully. I highly recommend this artist and medium
I am enjoying my painting, "Rustic in the Lilacs" by Reba Brew. I chose the 18 x 20 acrylic on canvas. Ordering was so easy even I could do it. The arrival time was much sooner than I expected and when I opened the package the painting was not only beautiful and of high quality, it was in perfect condition due to careful packaging by the Fineareamerica Company. Now I enjoy the painting every day from its place on my bedroom wall. It is often difficult to find a business that actually does quality, reliable work, but Fineartamerica passed all the criteria for being a top-notch company and I am extremely pleased with my purchasing experience with them. Thanks to all their workers for a job well done!
Absolutely love my Chris Brewington Photography. I purchased the Dancer 174, Pow Wow Dancer and First Pow Wow--all fabulous!
The picture I received from your company was beautiful!!!! I love Mr. Hurley's paintings. He's a keeper!!
Joyce Williams Graves
I saw Delvon Artist on Facebook, we became 'friends'! I love Delvon's work, it's sharp, different, life like! I have 'Rock The Roses' in my lounge at home, I plan to buy more pieces in time! Thanks to this easy to use website!
Ethan Abelov is an incredible photographer and as usual, I purchased note cards for giving and have difficulty parting with them. I have artists and photographers in my own family so I have no wall space left to do a wall photo but if you're looking for something awesome for your walls, you will find it in Ethan's collection.
Stumbled upon Chris Lopez' brilliant works on eBay which led me to FineArtAmerica. Drooled over all the options for an order and proceeded with a large selection of for special greeting cards. Delighted that I could crop the images, customize messages and had color options for the back covers.
The cards arrived in a beautiful box. Gorgeous. Several weeks later I opened the box - the cellophane film finish on many of the cards had started to bubble and peel back from the edges especially the corners. My return/exchange time had expired with the company. I will not invest in further orders.
I have used FAA for prints for my office. I love their work above all other sites I have used and this latest print is my most favorite. I will use them in the future for any needed prints in my office or at home. I can't say enough. I wish they had a few more print of border collies in action though.
I am impressed with the large array of choices on this site. Unfortunately, if the company cannot produce the products then it really doesn't matter.
After my husband and I finally agreed on a piece of art for our new kitchen, we ordered the largest size 48x60 metal version. Within a week of when I ordered it, I was sent an email saying that they were refunding our money. Evidently, the artist did not give them a large enough pixel image for them to reproduce it in that size. Shouldn't they have figured that out before they offered that size?
Trying to find another common preferred piece did not happen, so we elected to order it in the next biggest size they could produce it in ( 2 sizes down from what they showed as available on their site even a week later).
When it arrived we were so happy. That was until we opened the package. The piece was damaged - not from the shipping because the packing was thorough and the packaging was intact.
It took what seemed like forever for them to replace it.
The replacement came today and it is damaged too. I am sorry to recommend that you shop elsewhere as this purchase has just been one disappointment after another.
I had tried and membered on other artsites on the net, and what I found out about FAA-Fineartamerica, being a member there for almost 3years now is that the owner of that site and its admin. contineously upgrades its service for wider reach of potential clients/buyers both for POD's(Print On Demands) and original works displayed by its artist members. Thus increase of sales and income both for FAA and its members. Easy and user friendly for artist in using that site, where other artsite is so complicated and hard to follow, specially if your non techy and a dinosaur to computers. With this site FAA there is no hidden agenda. They offer you two options to join . As a FREE Member and the other as PREMIUM(Paying) Member. As a FREE Member I had SOLD some of my original artworks on FAA and believe me Im a very very satisfied member. Loyal and deep gratitude to FAA.
I joined FAA as an artist in late 2011. I had no experience selling my photographs anywhere else. Since then, I have been most impressed with the profit potential for an artist on FAA. It offers far more potential than any other POD art sites. Being able to set my own markups, to see what art sells and interacting on the message boards has allowed me to grow as an artist and earn more money than I could have realistically expected.
As far as the art, the quality is top-notch. Customers have reached out to say how much they love their prints and how great the quality is. The site offers a 30-day guarantee which shows confidence in the product but is rarely utilized because the quality is so high.
I don't know why you have them in the "Jewelry" category since they sell fine art prints, but Fine Art America produces quality work that they stand behind. How many sites that you buy from will let you return something just because you didn't like it once you saw it in person? For fine art prints that's a huge plus!
I am a member of Fine Art America for more than 3 years. Fine Art America is the best way to sell your art, to buy paintings. As an artist who practiced realistic paintings in watercolor, I am highly satisfied with the service Fine Art America provides. I've ordered several prints for my house and for the art shows and the quality of the artworks is amazing. If somebody is looking to sell prints on demand or to purchase a great artwork, they are absolutely advised to go to check out Fine Art America. This website is friendly, it give a lot of hints and opportunities for the artists to succeed.
I recently purchased 3 prints from Fine Art America. I needed them within 10 days to have them framed in time for a grand opening. The web site says 3-4 days processing time, so they should easily arrive within 10 days. On the 5th day, after not hearing anything from them, I called and was told the images from the artist were corrupt and they were waiting to hear from the artist. Again, I had to call them to find out this info. I canceled one of the photos after contacting the artist directly and he had it printed for MUCH CHEAPER. I was told the others two prints would go out on a Monday and asked for overnight shipping. One Tuesday, when I once again hadn't heard from them, I emailed (yes, emailed...they don't take calls!) and was told they were sent a day late and NOT overnight. So, now I will not have the prints in time to get them framed for the grand opening. I would not recommend this company...I'm extremely unsatisfied.
Do not order from this outfit. I received a gift of a photo. I really liked the photo itself, but not the size.
As the website was extremely vague on exchanges (purposefully it turns out), I decided to contact customer service directly via phone. What I wanted to do is something I'm sure I could do with ANY other e-commerce outfit: exchange the photo for the very same shot, only larger. I said I would of course provide my credit card for the additional amount and shipping.
Well, for starters, "Customer Service" is 3rd party answering service. They have zero authority. I was told I could return the item for a refund in full, and then re-order. I could not however exchange the item?!?! Well, when I asked to actually speak with the folks who run the business, I was told I would get a call back in a couple of hours. You can probably guess whether or not that actually happened.
Four (4) calls and 5 days later, I finally spoke with someone in charge. They refused to do the exchange as indicated, regardless of the fact that the initial order was a gift. See, it is about them and their system, not you the customer or your satisfaction.
I understand they sell art on behalf of independent artists. Well, I returned the original order for a refund and did not order the much larger, much more expensive photo. So the artist literally received nothing.
Sad, pathetic, and stupid: Fine Art America.
I am not a professional artist or photographer but I took pictures of my three long-haired mini Doxies and had Fine Art America put the prints on a stretched canvas and they are fantastic!! I will recommend Fine Art America to everyone I know and will use them again, Thanks for giving me a lifetime of memories of my dogs!!
I think this website is the greatest thing to come along for artists - EVER! I have personally uploaded art files to this website, and to test the quality, I even ordered prints of my own images to see for myself if the claims made at FAA were true. I can honestly say that I was NOT disappointed - the quality of the prints exceeded my expectations. I am THRILLED! The shipping was lightening fast and the packaging was very well done and secure. In response to some of the complaints I've seen about disagreements on image quality - there are safeguards in place to assure high quality results for the customer - if your image is not up to par, the last thing you want is the customer to end up displeased. I think FAA is qualified to make that call as to whether or not an image is acceptable. The best way for the average artist to get the best possible image is to scan it and then edit in PS. If you've created an image that looks like crap on purpose, ( pixelated, grainy, fuzzy, dark, overexposed, underexposed ) then I think you should sell it elsewhere too. I think FAA knows what the expectations of their buyers are - if you are a success, FAA will be too.
I've only been a member since October of 2012 but it is a great way to get exposure. I truly enjoy uploading my artwork and photography images on FFA! Also, they have a lot to offer, besides getting to share my work with other members, you can compete in contests, be a part of a social group. Members can have discussions and I can monitor who visits and preview my artwork. I even went out and bought a better digital camera in order to show higher quality images. I would highly recommend Fineartamerica to anyone in the field of visual art. FFA also has a weekly newsletter to keep me updated with sells and events. They even send out announcement pages whenever a print is sold. I truly enjoy being a member of FFA!!!!!!
Looked online, saw a print i really lliked and ordered it. Not a big internet user, usually cautious of buying online and giving out credit card details online, but loved the print so much rolled the dice. Smooth as!. Ordered. emails confirm reciept, deivered on time and followed tracking via post UPS; what a great service. Couldn't reccomend more highly. End product delivered on time and in excellent quality, being framed right now this end in Australia. More than happy - Thank you FAA
FIne Art America is the worst website I've ever used for "selling" art.
The owner cancelled my order on a 9 ft. print (I am the artist.) Their reasons for doing so were "lack of image quality". I tried, to no avail, explaining that I indeed incorporated film grain into my work for an antiquated look ,and what they were seeing was not "poor quality" but in fact, a deliberate edit in post processing, as it is my trademark.
I was both outraged and appalled that they were now literally trying to interpret what is and is not "art"- many paintings have textural depth, but now artographers will be questioned if their images aren't crystal clear?! I was instructed to reshoot the image and "use a tripod". Needless to say, I was insulted.
At one point, I was told to reshoot my image with at least a 12 MP DSLR. (I shot the image with a Canon Rebel DSLR and a brand new copy of a 50 MM 1.8. I sell the same print at other websites- the image quality is up to par.) When I told the staff that I did shoot the original with a DSLR and a 50 MM 1.8, I was then told that even a 12 MP DSLR wouldn't be big enough to reproduce a high quality 108 x 20 print. I was convinced that Fine Art America did not know what they were talking about, and were now "double-talking".
Again, I was appalled that the staff were so thoughtless, and absolutely wouldn't hear what I had to say regarding my particular (and again, deliberate,) style. I was also shocked that they had no problem telling an artist to reshoot an image (to fit their mold of what art should be) without disclosing it to the would-be buyer! The buyer of the 9 ft. print had no idea it would not have been the same image.
I refused to reshoot, and told them that I would be filing a report.
The owner then emailed me a letter stating that he would be closing my account. (Gasp!)
I told him that he better not touch my account, as I hadn't requested it, and hadn't broken any rules.
I received another email only moments later stating that he had closed my account and we "simply weren't working out". The owner had closed my account without first giving me adequate time to remove any of my images.
I have never been treated in such a callous manner by a "professional" before, and I will tell everybody who will listen about the atrocious and gross abuse by the owner of Fine Art America.
I've had no sales there in over three years, but over 70 sales at another site. Also, the staff at the other site is far superior to that of FAA, and the traffic there is tenfold the almost nonexistent traffic of FAA/Fine Art America.
Shame on you Fine Art America- and artists, beware.

I'm a photographer and painter.
I'm on FAA from 2 months only, but I find FAA really cozy, well structured, and with a lively forum and collaborative.
I compared it with other POD sites, but FAA is the best for me.
The prints are really good. (I bought prints on canvas).
The procedure to buy is simple and clear and the choice of measures for printing is very high.

I've been to many POD places, each has it's quirks. Many of them try to please stock holders more than pleasing artists. As a result the site slowly disintegrates and it becomes a money hungry machine that is more interested in making a buck for them, and not for you.
Fine art America on the hand the artists come first. You can choose the amount you want to get, and you get it. You don't have to worry about surprise sales, or referrals coming out of your check. But the best part is, collectors from everywhere buy things in large numbers. I've sold things that I never sold on any other site. While I can't exactly call it a full time job, it is very possible to making at least a partial living from the income. There's a ton of stuff to choose from, the images always seem brighter and truer on the screen, and you can get close ups of everything so you know exactly what your buying.
It's also much easier to purchase frames and the like. The menu's aren't confusing like they are in other sites.
Best of all, you don't have to pay for a website, you already have one like the above. You can bring people to your own store, and you know they can only see your items and not the competition.

I actually sold a canvas print back in November of 2011 and with their policy they stated a commission check would go out the following month. It is now February and I still haven't received that check they promised. I have contacted the company via email several times and each time I got a response from someone new and they apologized and asked if I had a paypal account, everytime I responded with the information they requested and still NOTHING. I will never recommend this site to anyone and suggest artist use this company with extreme caution.
As a member, what I've found when dealing with Fine Art America is that their service is extremely fast and they are most efficient. If I email them they respond within 24 hours and they are reasonable about providing a solution.
The one negative review posted by Jill Zupon, which is currently posted to every FAA members artwork has made a damaging statement toward each artist because what is supposedly directed to one particular person she does not make clear. Her review that appears beside EVERY MEMBER'S work is the same review and she states it as though she spoke to the individual artist directly. Additionally, she makes a statement as if that member stalked her with email and phone calls. This is simply not true of me and I'm sure most all of the members. It is an unfair and damaging statement towards each individual artists that this single rating affects. If she had a problem with a customer service rep or the company it should be stated as such, but this single negative review should not be connected or posted on the artist or the artist's work because she had a disagreement. As members and customers, the positive reviews that have been posted so far should appear as well, but they don't, just the one bad review is all that appears. Hopefully TRUSTPILOT will correct this setup and remove the negative review from every individual person's work.
As the owner of Four Corners Framing Company in Holland, Michigan and as an artist myself, Fineartamerica has become a wonderful resource for me and my gallery. Not only can I order my own artwork to sell in my gallery and know that the quality is fantastic, but FAA puts all of the of the thousands of other talented artists at my fingertips. I get requests for a wide variety of art and it's great to know that I can go there and find it all!
