Really bad service and really bad company policies. They should learn something from Amazon . I ordered thermals pants and received tops for 2 times and now they are saying it will take 10 days to return my money. For your reference :OD40302055623.
I gifted an ADIDAS bag-pack from www.flipkart.com to my brother as he wanted a new bag as a birthday gift. though it is a branded bag, it does not have that quality. The Ht of the bag described is 460 mm, but it looks way too small for a college going guy. The images describing this item has an imaginary 6 feet guy holding his backpack on his back and it really don't give an idea, how bag will feel on the real person while carrying. its hard to imagine how this bag would feel without seeing a image of real guy holding it. maybe some of you have same issues as mine. I tried to return this item online by clicking the return option, but it generated an another option to get an replacement. Unaware of their replacement policies( as its not mention on their so called 'hassle free return webpage') it automatically placed an replacement for the same backpack that i wanted to return back!. Why would i need the same bag when i want to return it? As we were disappointed with this purchase, i called the customer care representative to return it or get an another replacement. Whatever! I was not keen on getting my money back, but just wanted to get an different bag instead of this one. Don't we go to Branded/Non-branded shops to return the item or to get different replacement when we think that oh its not the thing i would like to buy,i will go shop and get another one in replacement. Even they are good in replacement of different items, if they don't like to refund your money! That CCR guy gave hard time to me, and explaining me the ''HIDDEN'' clauses. These CCR guys acts like puppet and say" we are sorry Madam, but we cant do anything" My question is" if you cant do anything, then why the hell you are sitting there? I think its a good way to dupe customers who do not know their hidden clauses. The next this i get to here from CCR that they cant provide an replacement. They will send the same replacement of item and are cant send different one. This was something new and strange to me, because no shopkeeper will do that!
So, i learned my lesson that i cant rely on this so called great Indian shopping website. i would rather go shopping to local shops and be satisfied and get an different replacement when i want. WS Retail and Flipkart will earn quick bucks like this making their customers unhappy and eventually losing them. They should learn something from how online shopping websites abroad treat their customers. They should get some lessons on Ethics and professionalism, and how to handle public relations. It will become extinct site if it don't pay heed to thier return policies.
CONS: WORST RETURN POLICIES AND HIDDEN CLAUSES POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: SAY SORRY MORE THAN SOLVING PROBLEMS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DIFFERENT ITEM
First of all my order is late and when i contact the customer care they say my pincode and address is wrong however just a week back they had no problem in delivering other good to same address which was even returned because there were missing parts in the order. looks like they take everything for granted and when i contact the customer care they say we will deliver this on priority within 24-48 hours. After two days i get a mail saying my order is cancelled and my amount is refunded. Why the hell is my order being refunded. what the heck is going on. First of all you guys do not deliver the order on time and now you guys decide yourself to cancel the order and refund the amount. what is the pathetic service you guys are providing.
I got a notebook sleeve and it turned out to be a bit small. So I called up customer care and asked for a return to be initiated. Next they me that I can't return this. Omg! I called them within like 10 minutes of receiving the product. Really bad company policies. They should learn something from Amazon and Myntra.
It's weird when customers like unsuspecting pigeons are trapped under the basket.
WTF am I gonna do with a product I don't need. Well someone's getting a nice gift from me. But Flipkart - you're never getting opened in my browser ever again. And I'll ensure my friends do the same - we wouldn't want others to suffer now, would we?
I had to learn the lesson in a hard way. I bought a Puma football from WS retail listed with Flipkart which turned out to be defective(punctured). I came to know after I filled it with air after two days. Air has leaked in a day and I tried to fill it atleast 3-4 times but the same problem recurred. Then got it checked with local sports shop and my fears were right. I claimed for refund in 10 days after delivery which is within the allowed time line.
All along I was confident that as per the return policy of flipkart I can get refund/replacement but I met with a shock. Flipkart wants original box, price tag label etc which I donot have now as the original box and price tag label etc have already been torn off while opening the item. I only have the invoice with me. Their customer care is saying they cannot accept the item without them. I told them that their representative can check the item whether it is defective or not and I am also fine with replacement and not refund of money. Local shopkeeper would have replaced the football without second question.
Friends I had learnt the lesson hard way. Please. donot buy anything from Flipkart as their return policy is very bad and you can’t expect the refund/replacement from them with their policies.
I bought a D-link DIR 505 router which is not working well but they are neither ready to replace it or upgrade it becoz seller is not ready. I bought it from flipkart so who will replace it ? Flipkart is Cheater online shopping site. Amazon is much much better than any other online shopping site.
The Bluetooth stylus/Headset I received with the handset is faulty, damaged and didn’t turned on. NOW started my pathetic experience with flipkart customer care services. I have called them several time requesting for return. Every time they said that the "Back-End" team will get back to me within 24 to 48 hrs and never called back. The so called back end team have became the pain in my back end in no time.
Flipkart’s easy and free return policy is not really Easy. Next time you buy a product from flipkart be aware, that, if you received a damaged or broken product, you are going to have a real night mare dealing with this customer care and getting it replaced.
I haven’t got mine replaced yet. Every time I called them they come back with "you will get a call by today evening".and unfortunately that evening never came! They NEVER called me back and my return request is stuck on "processing" forever.
The bottom line is clear, buy from flipkart if you want good delivery, but DO NOT expect any sort of product guarantee from them. God forbid if you received a faulty or damaged product, you cant NEVER get it replaced from them. The 30 days replacement policy of flipkart is an utter lie.
I have purchased many product from flipkart but with this pathetic after sales service I am absolutely done with Flipkart.

Ordering from flipkart was the worst ever mistake (really mean it) I did ever. I had ordered a lip colour which when received didn't even look the same as online. And the appalling part was the delivery guy swipes my card for Rs. 2000 instead of Rs. 200! When contacted continuously for 2 days the customer care first promises to set things right within 48 hrs max and the third day they say that it will take 15 days as per company policy (gone to dogs) to refund the money. Where they sleep talking when they promised to fix things right in 2 days? And to my surprise when I demanded to talk to the supervisor, he had the cheek to ask me why didn't I check the amount when the card was swiped, as it is my money.. You wanna know why you moron? Because I trusted! After all this commotion he promises that I would get a call in ten minutes from the back end team( which I assume is either not present or sleeping) and I never got one! Seriously, you guys should find another way to loot your customers. This is not gonna work! Forget about you guys calling me and updating (lack of courtesy) but I am not gonna let this go!
Due to some reasons a product had been delivered to us from flipkart which had some fault. My parents told me that we should not buy anything from flipkart. I complained flipkart and immediately the next day an email came saying that the product will be replaced . After two days , my product was replaced by a new one. I was very very very happy at that time. Thanks a lot flipkart..... for this service and parents now want to buy everything from flipkart....

What kind of action you guys have taken on my mail before. This is totally bullshit shopping with you guys... Dear sonsumers, Its better to buy on road side rather than to buy on flipkart. i bought provouge lace up shoes on flipkart on June moth end and returned back to flipkart since low quality, cheep damaged product. Till now i didn't received my money back. called several times, even sent many mails, they are not even responding to my mails. Now i am going to file a consumer complaint against flipkart. Hi, i'm binoy from kerala, I have ordered a Wahl 09655-024 Rechargeable Clipper Trimmer from Flipkart for Rs 2249/- I ordered it on 7th sept 2013 and i could touch it only on 18th sept!!!! i dont no whom to blame ; flipkart team or their courier partner bluedart, whatever, it wasn't a pleasant experience.(it was on 13th sept that i should have got my shipment so on 14th after i contacted them flipkart team send me a email advising me to cancel my order and re-order it,i didn't done either of it)Then after that every day i had to track my shipment at least twice ,it was really embarrassing. Also, the bluedart team was so cold in response and delivery that i had to personal go to their office at 6 pm on 18th sept after i felt that there is no hope of assistance from anywhere.i had to wait another 45 minutes at their office to get my shipment! ( also their interaction with the customers are not pleasant either)and after that when i tracked the shipment online i got this surprising detail that they have delivered me the package by 9 at night! ...of course i can't directly blame all these to flipkart team but at the end of the day the question arises ,who had chosen bluedart as the courier service, so eventually it is the flipkart team who is responsible,isn't it? It's really pathetic to get such an experience, i feel like a cheap customer ( and that matters a lot), For a Rs 200 or 300 savings do i have to go through all these? i have to re-think my choice. They are selling "Made in China" products of world leading American products! (Wahl is one of the top grooming device manufactures in US ), i think that's how they can sell at low price, but i think Indians are quality conscious too, we aren't cheap customers,are we? I'm ready to churn out 20-25% more on MRP to get a real genuine make, am not telling you that all 'Made in USA' are the best and of high quality .But as a paying customer we wish to see the purchased item as a 'product of a country ' where the company is established with high reputation.Anyway, i know that my expectation was an exaggerated one since at this price getting a 'Made in USA' is scarce, but possible.One of my friend brought a Wahl clipper (moser) from a retail shop at around 2000Rs ,which was a 'made in Germany.' "Made in china" is ok as long as it gives a long lasting performance, if the make is of high quality then all that i just put above are ignorable,but if not then as a business entity it's the flipkart which will eventually suffer. If it fails an average customer's(like mine) expectation then maybe in future my generation might make such an advice to our future generation that ' ...online e-commerce markets are cheap quality product sellers..made in China ...with no respect to customers ..... ' so and so..... Last but important, there where some bits of hair( 2-3 pieces of a millimeter or so in length ) on the clipper/trimmer when i opened the bag, i don't know from where did it came from.The Clipper package i got was just closed with a cello tape! No security seal or anything and Inside it there was this cheap looking synthetic bag with "WAHL" embroidered which contained the clipper/trimmer.Does all the clippers/trimmers are sold fully charged?! and does all of them make a trim test in real before they are shipped? since i wonder how this hair pieces landed on the brand new product i brought home!! i know i can send it back to flipkart,but i had enough headache and no more..its time for some wise decisions to take and get retired ... i wonder what might be the truth.
Conclusion: Make a better decision on what to purchase online and what not to.In my experience go for online purchase(in India) like books,e-books,Cd, and magazines etc. For other product do some real shopping, of course you can have the choice of global buying like the one offered by eBay globaleasybuy or overstock and others..But you need to give more money for international shipment and taxes and all that.
