i bought provouge lace up shoes on flipkart on June moth end and returned back to flipkart since low quality, cheep damaged product.

called several times, even sent many mails, they are not even responding to my mails. Now i am going to file a consumer complaint against flipkart. Keep this thing in mind before ordering any thing from flipkart.

Hi, i'm binoy from kerala, I have ordered a Wahl 09655-024 Rechargeable Clipper Trimmer from Flipkart for Rs 2249/-
I ordered it on 7th sept 2013 and i could touch it only on 18th sept!!!! i dont no whom to blame ; flipkart team or their courier partner bluedart, whatever, it wasn't a pleasant experience.(it was on 13th sept that i should have got my shipment so on 14th after i contacted them flipkart team send me a email advising me to cancel my order and re-order it,i didn't done either of it)Then after that every day i had to track my shipment at least twice ,it was really embarrassing. Also, the bluedart team was so cold in response and delivery that i had to personal go to their office at 6 pm on 18th sept after i felt that there is no hope of assistance from anywhere.i had to wait another 45 minutes at their office to get my shipment! ( also their interaction with the customers are not pleasant either)and after that when i tracked the shipment online i got this surprising detail that they have delivered me the package by 9 at night! ...of course i can't directly blame all these to flipkart team
but at the end of the day the question arises ,who had chosen bluedart as the courier service, so eventually it is the flipkart team who is responsible,isn't it? It's really pathetic to get such an experience, i feel like a cheap customer ( and that matters a lot), For a Rs 200 or 300 savings do i have to go through all these? i have to re-think my choice.
They are selling "Made in China" products of world leading American products! (Wahl is one of the top grooming device manufactures in US ), i think that's how they can sell at low price, but i think Indians are quality conscious too, we aren't cheap customers,are we? I'm ready to churn out 20-25% more on MRP to get a real genuine make, am not telling you that all 'Made in USA' are the best and of high quality .But as a paying customer we wish to see the purchased item as a 'product of a country ' where the company is established with high reputation.Anyway, i know that my expectation was an exaggerated one since at this price getting a 'Made in USA' is scarce, but possible.One of my friend brought a Wahl clipper (moser) from a retail shop at around 2000Rs ,which was a 'made in Germany.'
"Made in china" is ok as long as it gives a long lasting performance, if the make is of high quality then all that i just put above are ignorable,but if not then as a business entity it's the flipkart which will eventually suffer. If it fails an average customer's(like mine) expectation then maybe in future my generation might make such an advice to our future generation that ' ...online e-commerce markets are cheap quality product sellers..made in China ...with no respect to customers ..... ' so and so.....
Last but important, there where some bits of hair( 2-3 pieces of a millimeter or so in length ) on the clipper/trimmer when i opened the bag, i don't know from where did it came from.The Clipper package i got was just closed with a cello tape! No security seal or anything and Inside it there was this cheap looking synthetic bag with "WAHL" embroidered which contained the clipper/trimmer.Does all the clippers/trimmers are sold fully charged?! and does all of them make a trim test in real before they are shipped? since i wonder how this hair pieces landed on the brand new product i brought home!! i know i can send it back to flipkart,but i had enough headache and no more..its time for some wise decisions to take and get retired ... i wonder what might be the truth.
Conclusion: Make a better decision on what to purchase online and what not to.In my experience go for online purchase(in India) like books,e-books,Cd, and magazines etc. For other product do some real shopping, of course you can have the choice of global buying like the one offered by eBay globaleasybuy or overstock and others..But you need to give more money for international shipment and taxes and all that. Next time i will go for Global Buy!

This is in reference to my Flipkart Order #OD30624073773 I had ordered a Sony Experia L worth Rs 17700 on 24 June 2013. Surprisingly, the package that got delivered today i.e 29 June 2013 contained Nokia Lumia 510 worth Rs 7500. I am really surprised as to how the Sony Xperia got transformed into Nokia Lumia 510.
Contacting the Customer Care(CC) in itself is like fighting a war. Once the call got connected to CC, the IVRS kept me waiting for 3-4 mins everytime. Finally lady luck shined on me and I got through to a human voice. By the time I explained my problem to the concerned individual, there was total silence from the other end, and very conveniently the call used to end on its own. Had it happened once or twice I would have definitely understood. But the same thing happened 4 times in a row. That was almost 30mins of futile exercise on my part to be able to speak to someone from CC.
Since I was at the receiving end because I made the cardinal mistake of ordering a product through Flipkart, I had no choice but to try to contact CC again. Finally somehow I got connected and explained my problem to the CC executive. I was told that my complaint has been raised to the concerned team and I would be hearing from them shortly. Correct my knowledge of time if I am wrong, but I always thought “shortly” meant something like 10mins, or 20mins or 1hr or max 2hrs. But alas, the folks at Flipkart follow some other time pattern, because even after 3 hrs of speaking to the CC executive, I was left high and dry waiting for their call.
With no option left for me, I again got into the rigmarole of contacting the CC. This time I was told that the faulty items delivered to me would have to be sent back to the retailer through courier, and then he would ship me the new product. Asking about the time frame that it would take for this process to complete, I was told that it would take another 3-4 days.
Now someone please explain this to me:
-Time for the courier guy to pick the faulty product from my home they say is 24-48 hrs.
-Time for it to be couriered back to reseller: 2 days.
-Time for the reseller to ship me the new product: 1 day
-Time for the new product to reach my house in Jabalpur: 4 days.
Total time reqd: 8-9 days starting from tomorrow.
And still they say it would take max 4 days for me to receive a replacement. Folks at Flipkart really have to get their mathematics right.
I calmly told the CC executive that if that is the time that it would take for the replacement, then I would like to cancel my order today, and place a fresh order so that it gets delivered at my place in next 4 days.
Now come the best part. I was told“Sir, you cannot cancel the order because you have already received the product.”
My questions are very simple and basic:
1. Is it my fault that I got the wrong product delivered?
2. Why can’t I cancel my order right now, since I have been delivered a faulty product?
3. Why should I wait another 10 days to get a replacement for no fault of mine own?
4. What about the waste of time and waste of effort that I have to put in, just to ensure that what I ordered gets delivered to me ?
5. What about the mental agony that I had to face because of all this?
As I was writing this mail I got a call from someone in Flipkart identifying himself as the team leader. And all he told me was “Sir I understand your concern, I apologize, but there is nothing that we can do. You have to wait for next 8-10 days for the delivery of your goods.”
What am I supposed to feel after hearing from him?
All I can understand is that the guys at Flipkart are holding me for a ransom. I made the complete payment, I gave the complete address, and now I am being made to suffer because of this.
I really don’t know whether flipkart would even read this mail or not. But they have left me with no choice.

Till now I have experienced many deliveries from Flipkart, all of them have been excellent. Great packaging, great customer support, great return policy , spot delivery timelines. Of all the online shopping in India, Flipkart is the best.... infact none others are even near to the matuirity, efficiency and professionalism that Flipkart has.

Today I had the worst experience ever and I can assure you that it has left a bitter taste. One of your courier guys came today when he was supposed to come on Friday. And when I initiated payment through debit card, my card did not read. He started abusing me in front of my office staff. As this was an office setting he was lucky to escape unhurt, otherwise things would have been very different. He also told me in the end "Ukhad le jo ukhadna hai"
I have been a loyal customer of Flipkart with total transcation amounting to 50,000 so far. And this experience has made sure that I never do business with Flipkart ever AGAIN!!

Never buy high value items from this site. It sucks!!! The customer care lady also won't help! utterly disgusting experience!
Have had a history of flipkart not being able to deliver high value items. their business model seem to be to source their working capital from customers who use credit cards to make payments. They list items without bothering to check if they are in stock and then the excuse is that they weren't able to procure the item and the order stands cancelled. this entire cycle from the day the order is placed to the funds being refunded to the customer's credit card takes anywhere between 21 to 28 days (sometimes even longer). Flipkart obviously is able to use these funds for this period without having to pay any interest for the period it kept the customer's money with them. This reeks of a scam given the fact that it has happened to one customer on three different ocassions (me). Flipkart must have thousands of customers whose orders must be getting cancelled on a regular basis. RBI should frame guidelines which prevent companies like Flipkart from holding on to customer's funds free of cost - they should be made to pay interest if they cancel the order. Ideally at an exorbitant rate since the credit card interest rates are exorbitant.

I had to order the same product 4 times just because i was not present at home the time shipment came.These people do not even call before coming.They just land up directly at your door n then complain.Listen you flipkart people,we are not available 24/7 for u.We r not that free.And once we miss the shipment,these people never re attempt to send the product.You just keep on following them on calls and everyday lame promises they will give.Hopeless site.
This is my first experience of Flipkart in which i want to say in one sentence that it is third class service. i ordered a Antivirus from Flipkart but unfortunately it was very bad experience. in the Site of Flipkart it shows that it will deliver within 2-3 working days. i ordered my order on 17th March 2013 but till 23rd of March its not been deliver the order. I requested to deliver earlier between 21st and i have been committed that it will be done as an urgent request. After Complaining they told me that it is my area(where i stays) problem. there is no coordination between First flight courier and Flipkart. and lastly when complained they raise their hand and smoothly says it will take 2-3 days more hopefully reach @ 25th of March. still waiting for the order..........................!!!!!!!!!
On flipkart i purchased a zebronics mouse which i received within 3 working days but when i plug it on my laptop it was not working ... though that was not a grt surprise for me.. I told them about the faulty product ,they replaced the product within 4 days.. Then i started looking for other sites which offers best deal ... After that i came across with two sites One is Snap deal and another one is Mydeals247.com. Snapdeal is similar to facebook but in mydeals247.com you can negotiate with seller and can get it at a cheaper price..
I ordered a USB 3.0 16GB pen drive on 18 Dec 2012. I received a faulty pendrive on 22 Dec 2012. So I mailed flipkart CS team that my pendrive is n't working and asking them what I should do to get it replaced(I was expecting the whole process to take a few mails going back and forth and then finally sending the faulty item to them which they will inspect and then provide a replacement). This mail was sent at around 12 AM on a saturday. When I woke up on sunday the (at around 5.30) the first thing I saw was my PC showing a new mail notification. I opened the mail and it was from flipkart.
"Sorry for the inconvenience... Blah blah blah....
... we have already accepted ur replacement request and the replacement will be delivered to you within 8 working days.".
The next day 24 Dec 2012 I received an update saying that the replacement product has been shipped and the mail provided tracking details. I received the replacement on 27 Dec 2012. This time the pen drive worked. They replaced my product just because I sent a mail to them saying that it is faulty.(Period). They didn't even asked what was the problem... try this.. try that....
Guys Flipkart service is awesome.. I ve purchased plenty of items from flipkart. This was the only time I had to ask for a replacement. Even then I am extremely happy with the service they provided me.

Before ordering a white-color laptop(40K) on flipkart, I called their customer care, whether the product would be able to deliver by 7th Dec'12. They repeatedly assured me it would, it' wont be a problem. I told them it's a gift it should be reached around then. On 7th Dec'12, they call me and say white is not available, u can take black. I refused and they themselves told me we cannot complete your order, would refund the money. Their customer support regarding this has been horrible and they are full of sugar-coated words and lies. And they were least bothered that the order has to be cancelled.
Lesson No. 1 : Never buy anything expensive. They are not honest nor can be trusted. I am saying with my experience with their customer support. Also one peculiar thing about Flipkart, they do not have complaint addressal to higher authority. You can just talk to Customer Care. No information of headquarters like we have in mobile services - nodal officer, circle officer, etc.
Lesson No.2: Never trust the Delivery date promise. They cannot even deliver books on time.
Lesson No.3: In my opinion, never buy anything from Flipkart. Even if you do always choose cash on delivery.
Flipkart is utterly non-sense company. Please don't buy anything. Ebay India is far far better than Flipkart.
Flipkart is very clever, but they think you’re not. So the first time you register and order something, they make sure they deliver on time, send tracking SMS, and get some three different people to call you and ask if you received the product (even though they know for sure you did), if you liked it, and even if the family’s doing ok. They evidently assume that with this follow up, you’ll be comfortable enough to order again. Then they f**k you over.
I confess, I fell for it the first time, and ordered again. A net-banking order on the 3rd of Nov, for a washing machine worth approximately 15k. A confirmation SMS was sent immediately, saying they had taken my money successfully. The waiting time for delivery was published as 8 working days from the date of the order. Factoring weekends and even a long Diwali break, i decided i’d wait patiently for almost 15 days from the 3rd. On the 19th of Nov, i called their ’customer support’ number. I spoke with someone called Sapna, who made me wait for about 9 minutes before she told me that they were ’unable to procure my order’, and therefore I should cancel it. When I asked when I’d get my money back, i was nonchalantly told that it would take ’7 to 10 working days’, or i could opt for a ’wallet transfer’ (which i assume means they keep my money against future purchases) and that would take a minimum of two days. I asked to speak with someone from the company. I was put on hold for another 7 minutes. And then she comes back on the line and says ’didn’t you receive a mail from us?’, duh, obviously i didn’t, and thats why I’m calling, i say. She goes away for another three minutes, then comes back, tells me she ’understands my difficulty’, and she will ’arrange a call back’.
They took my order and my money, kept it for 16 days, forgot about it till i called, then pretended they had sent me a mail that of course i never got, said i could cancel my order but they’d still keep my money for another 10 days (one month interest free) told me they’d call back, which they didn’t, and best of all, EVEN NOW, MY ORDER STATUS ON THEIR WEBSITE STILL SAYS PROCESSING! And yeah... waiting through the diwali season for a new washing machine that was never going to be delivered in the first place, i missed all the Diwali offers as well.
Ok, so they do a lot of fancy (and expensive) advertising where they imply that they treat their customers like whimsical children. So i ask you, ever tried making your child wait for something and then forgotten to give it to him/her??? No matter how well your child is brought up, he/she will either throw a tantrum (best case), or crap all over your favorite sofa (worst case). In this case, I think Im going to be badly brought up, and i urge everyone reading this to be that way too.

I wanted to order 18 books and to ensure I get it on time, I called them to place an order. Saurabh from the group sales confirmed that the books were in stock and I would get it by time. Then he goes ahead and places the order as 3 different orders.
I get an email after a day that they are able to deliver only few books and the other will take 4-7 business days, which goes way beyond my deadline for getting the books.
I call them up and all they can say is it was in stock and now its not. How can a book which was in stock suddenly not be anymore. When someone orders dont they block the ones they have in stock. I am sure the books were not in stock and they just assumed they would be able to get it.
All the supervisor went on saying is that they are sorry but cannot do anything to make sure my order is fulfilled.
This is really bad service from them. If they don't have the stock they should not take the order. This is a waste of time where I could have procured the book from someone else, but now I don't have enough time because I trusted they would deliver on time.

Hi Guys..Flipkart really sucks theses days..I purchased many items from them..I am residing in a village area in kerala..Flipkart was sending those packages near my home in the past..Yesterday when I tried to buy a new item,they says they cant send the goods to that address,which was done in the past..I emailed them and they say there was a recent change in their company policies,so the pincode is emitted from their list..Books can be delivered anywhere...But guys for books only ,we got better options like bookadda..they are selling cheaper than flipkart and delivery is very fast(coz I booked one in flipkart for which it took 12 days to get..but bookadda sent me the same with in 4 days)..I initially thought its a good site..but now came to know that its another lame site who after getting at a good position,the only concern is making money rather than quality service..
I was a huge fan of flipkart,I mainly used to buy books and make-up and all was hunky-dory...till I recommended it to my cousin.She bought a handbag(OD21106202254),the handle of the bad delivered was completely from that in the product picture in the website and she wanted it replaced.
we called cs and they asked us to send pictures of the bag and they will contact us...we did within 2hrs.

today i called them up 3times and each time a different cs executive gave 3 different stories........
1> a woman picked the call and after i gave the entire story, said if we sent it back to the ware-house.i said they did'nt tell me to do anything except send pics.she said she was gonna put me on hold..and within a minute of hold the call was disconnected.
2> this time a hannah picked up and again i repeated the story,this time she(in a very accusatory tone) said the tech team called me up 2ice yesterday but my ph was busy and they sent an email, I said I never got any email. Now she said "we also never got ur email" almost as if she was picking up clues from my side of the story.i said "ok, i'll send it again",then she(for the 5th time) said we cant contact u if ur ph is busy all the time(i hated her tone), i provided her an alternative ph no .
3> i sent the pics twice this time and waited an hr to make sure they received it and called again, a guy picked up and i repeated the story again, he said flipkart is going through technical difficulty and they cant give me the position of my replacement procedure right now,"please bear with us and we'll get back to u within 24hrs" ,if this is true then hannah lied blatantly about their sending me an email,because according to this guy they are not able to process incoming emails right now.
In the evening they send an email asking to wait another 24hrs for updates on the "Replacement"(I dont know why the words were in quotes)
Anyways by now I m just sick of repeating my story again and again and again and again,plus I got embarrassed in front of my cousin
dear flipkart ,i have loved you for a long time and though i know you are a million dollar company and losing a petty bibliophile doesn't bother ur profits much but u just lost a fan,I'll never be buying from flipkart again.

Flipkart customer care updated me after 8 days that they are helpless to get my item as they don't have and i will get my money back after 10 days. So my 20 days just went wasted.
Also if you see the Item # (Switch iBall 8-Port Gigabit Switch - 10/100/1000M Network ) they say it will get deliver within 3-4 working days

Now I have to wait for 10 more days to get my money back.
Flipkart has nothing but a bunch of great actors behind the calls .. They can just repeat the scripts given to them by their so called "back end" and "technical department" n number of times !!
If someone really wants to buy a product do some good research about the product yourself because if the product you are going for is not good enough .. do not expect any help from their support team !! they will just fake it and prove you wrong on the bases of there unreal "terms and conditions" .. I was a great fan of this "Online Mega Store" :-/ until I went for a Micromax cell phone !!
the phone I bought had some manufacturing defect which they have now defined as --
"It was your fault" .. I have had endless discussion regarding it but they are just reading the same script again and again and again !! ... asking me to get it repaired from some workshop !
This is so sad !
Buy something only if you feel you have energy to talk to some bunch of crooks in their team who will do nothing but give you some unreal, illogical and lame feedback !!

This is how they work.
I ordered a Rhysetta 4 wheel bag for Rs. 2815 (35% off), they delivered a 2 wheel cabin bag.
I complain, they assure replacement of right product.
Meanwhile, they realise that they can't afford it :)
They update the price (Rs3400) online and its available to book at new price.
But they have to deliver me at same price as I had already made booking.
They send me a mail saying its further delayed.
Meanwhile, they make it Out Of Stock, so they dont have to deliver me at the same price.
Now, they are ready to Cancel my order, WITHOUT my consent/permission.
HURRAY!! After booking a bag 21days in advance before travel, I ended up with no option but to go hunting in-store for another option at the last moment.
THANKS A TON TO FLIPKART FOR MAKING ONLINE SHOPPING A NIGHTMARE IN INDIA

I recently purchased a digital camera from flipkart.com. I intended to gift it to my wife on my first wedding anniversary. I took little late to found out the correct item on various websites. Finally selected a very high zoom camera with good feature. But it was almost two days left for my anniversary. I booked product and paid money. Later I realized that, delivery would get late I would miss the occasion. There were no choice, either wait or cancell the order. I phoned flipkart.com customer care on same date of order and told my urgency. They didn't commit but promised to help. I was amazed to see, product was same day shipped and delivered next day. So good and fast service. I got product on very next day, one day spare to my anniversary. I liked flipkart.com service. I love flipkart.com
Homeshop is a lot cheaper and better than flipkart

I was a constant shopper at Flipkart. I bought more than 30 products from them in the last 2 years. At the beginning Flipkart was the cheapest and the best shopping website in India. They had a good customer support and delivered all the purchases on time. Now they have gained so popularity that they increased the prices from Books to Electronics. Also their customer support is not useful as the used to be. The co-ordination between the departments(Logistics,Sales etc) have decreased considerably that each department tells different stories of the same item. Sales dept will tell they will ship the item and customer care guys will tell the the order was cancelled and makes up reasons for the cancellation. They did not even ship my order OD20914190915 after 14 days .
Their service is becoming poor each day.
Last week a friend of mine told me to try Homeshop18.com. I gave it a try and bought a book-
How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded A Million Dollar Company . To my surprise i saw that there was no shipping for any products even if costs less than Rs 50. on Homeshop18. I compared the price with Flipkart , Flipkart was selling for Rs 91 + Rs 30 for shipping, Total for Rs 121.
While homeshop18 was selling for Rs 84 with free shipping . See the difference ,thus i saved Rs 37 and the product was delivered to my house in just 3 days.

I have ordered a toy as a gift to one of my relative's kid staying in another city. All was well. Item was heading towards intransit of that city. However a personal tragedy happened at my relative's side. So I immediately called flipkart and told them NOT to deliver. Instead asked them to divert the item to my place. They accepted and changed in their system. I even requested them, since the printout pasted on the item has original receiver's number, requested them to inform their transit and courier facility (their own) to NOT call the number. And this was mentioned in their system. As part of this requested I told them, it will be very very emberassing for me if you call my relative an say, you have a GIFT parcel. Because of the tragedy. The call center person understood my situation and said, no need to worry. They will definitely not call just because it is pasted on the item's box. Instead once the item reaches their transit, it will be re-routed. I was satisfied.
But sadly, I got a call from my relative telling me somebody from flipkart called him saying a gift/parcel. Oh! It was such a shame for me. My relative is in personal tragedy and here I am sending gift !!!! I have to hang my head in shame. I HAVE TO HANG MY HEAD IN SHAME !!!
I called the flipkart immediately and enquired what happened to re-route. This time the call center lady said, if the courier boy didn't find the address, they will call. Irresponsible. I told them, the story again and she confirmed the address is changed in the system. She even told me, 'sorry. it will not repeat in future'. Damn it. I told, does she know what she is talking! She just uttered words which were told to her during training. Not understanding in what situation to use. DAMMMNN IT!
She didn't even ready to take my complaint. Reason is system doesn't allow. I asked for a call back from higher ups. But again she said, all are out on luch and asked me to call back. I told ther, It is not my problem, it is her choice to inform the higher ups either via email and any other means. I just need a call back from higher ups. She said, fine. Supervisor wil call in an hour. This happened on 12th Sept at around 12:30 PM. Nobody called.
I am fearing how to face my relative. How can I tell him ... ? God save me! If I get access to flipkart, I will shoot every one of them for putting me in shame.

I used to be a fan of Flipkart and have bought from them regularly. However, I have always used the Cash on delivery payment for my physical purchases. Recently, I went and ordered a book, and thought I would try the credit card payment route.
To my chagrin, it appeared that my card failed. Since I really wanted that book, I tried again, but this time I opted for the COD option.
10 days later, I am now sitting with 2 copies of the same book.
Apparently, my credit card did go through. Flipkart delivered twice. Since my official schedule was insane, I did not even realize that my accountant had not paid for the first delivery (as the card ahd taken care of it) and paid for it the second time (COD option).
Clearly, there is some problem with their website and it is not robust enough. And we get to pay for their mistakes!!
As a regular customer, I thought I would call them up and tell them that this mistake was not mine. But I got a polite customer service rep, who tried convincing me that the mistake was mine. "You could have called to cancel" (when I did not even know that I had orderd it twice) etc..
I would definitely not recommend creditcard payment for purchases through Flipkart.

It seems flipkart is only interested in good reviews. They said they remove a feedback if the product stops working after sometime (in my case on the first day itself). You can only post bad review if the product is in working condition but is not up to your expectations!! They have been haggling with me providing umpteen no of reasons for removing my review. They have wasted a lot of my time via emails and phone calls and they are very stubborn. I regret having posted a review in flipkart.com for the simple reason that I could have avoided wasting my time and stressing myself. Flipkart.com is very good in delivery but their customer service is pathetic.
I am attaching the email conversation that I had with them on this.

I do not understand why my review was removed from the post. The justification for removal seems to be contradictory to the review.
1. I have posted the review of the product and mentioned specifically that the quality of the product is not good as it failed after first use itself and such a product quality is not expected from a reputed company like Black & Decker.
2. I have mentioned that the service from flipkart was great in order to make sure that people do not take my review about the product in the similar vein for the flipkart.
So how do you justify that my review was not product-specific? Why do you say that I rated your service as poor?

The reason for removing the reviews was, it could be possible that the problem occurred only in the set which you have received and then, your review may be confusing/misleading to future readers. If you removed my review because the problem could have happened in the piece that I received then Is the customer supposed to write a review after purchasing and trying out N no of the same item? The fact that the problem happened in that piece itself speaks a lot about the Quality checks that the said company is following and it should be exposed for the benefit of future readers. Would you have remove the review if it would have praised the product just because the customer wrote the review based on experience with a single piece. In this sense then I suppose you should remove most of the review for most of the product at flipkart.Otherwise it would seem like you are trying to manipulate the rating of a product by explicitly removing bad ratings.
Why is flipkart bothered that that particular piece was faulty and so the review on the faulty product should not be written?
I agree some control on the review is required otherwise the review quality suffers and people stop beliveing in reviews ( mouthshut.com is a fine example). However, I think flipkart is going overboard in controlling what sort of reviews are published and what are not published.
I have brought many things from flipkart and never written a review. This is the first time I am writing a review and the kind of backlash I am facing from flipkart is making me regret for wasting my time in writing a review.
I should have either kept quite or written a good review, that is the kind of message you are passing to me.
I hope you reflect and take sense in what you are doing and repost my review. Otherwise, I will have to stop believing in reviews at flipkart.com.

Worst online service,please don't go for flipcart, if u don't like the product after delivery they don't care, they dont even give u a option to exchange or even purchase some other product for the same price or higher. worst customer service post delivery. I have purchased a watch to my sister they have sent me a free size watch now they are not ready to exchange or not even allowing me to buy another watch. I would never go again to flipkart, u guys please think twice before u purchase in flipkart.

The after sales support sucks. Customer service is horrible. Following is the conversation I had with a staff over phone as my product is faulty:

If your product stopped working within the first 30seconds of usage, I don't want a replacement. That replacement will probably stop working right after the 30st day (when replacement guarantee expires). I'll just have wasted money with you guys. Full refund, I want.

Well then, I've already ordered this product somewhere else since I do not trust your service. How about you replace this product (I picked one with double the PRICE of the initial product..i had no problem paying higher for different item that I need, and hopefully, 'probably' a 'better quality')

I have been a frequent customer at flipkart.com for the past few months. It was all merry till I was ordering top seller books or other products like computer hardwares. But recently I ordered few books and Movie VCDs. The expected time of delivery was as always mentioned as 2-3 business days. After a week, I mailed them to find out the reason for delay. They replied that due to some issues my order has to be reshipped. To that, I sent a mail for which I didnt get a reply till date. It has been 10 days and I haven't received either my order or any mail from flipkart. So, in all, it might be a good site for usual stuff which sells like hotcakes, but not so impressive for other rare stuff. I guess the company is not able to manage the crazy expansion in the product lines they have gone through in last few months. I wish they stayed in the books business only!
I ordered a Motorola mobile from Flipkart (OD20209221119) just for the convenience and to try out the shopping site. It was delivered much before the promised date. I was pleasantly surprised.
The touchscreen had some problems for which i logged in a ticket with CS@flipkart.com thru their website. It took a few days before anyone reverted to me. I was asked for photos of the screen. I sent it four times (total 7.9MB), finally sending it in multiple mails to be sure that the Flipkart team receives the photos. Finally, after several followup calls, I get a call back saying that I need to take it to a Motorola Service center :-) I guess the promise of "30 Day Replacement Guarantee" is just a gimmick.
i guess i am better off buying from the local store rather than buying from Flipkart.

They have a fine delivery but very bad customer care. I buyed a dell laptop from flipkart. It was having a problem in keyboard. After a consistent reminder from my side they were not able to provide any help.
Every time they told that they will respond in 24 hours, but they never reverted. After 20 days of frustration they told me that my broken keyboard is fine and its the expected behavior.
When I contacted Dell directly, they agreed with my problem and were able to fix that in 1 day.

I used to buy products through flipkart and service was great. On 03rd December 2011, I ordered a product and not received. I made payment thorugh internet banking. On 10.12 2011 I put a complaint and got reply that they replaced it. Same thing happened again. I called flipkart customer care on 04th January 2012, and they said it is packed and forget to ship…. I couldn’t believe this…. Am giving replacement mail that I received: it is too bad.
