When the price of Gold plummeted in April 2013 I decided to make a substantial purchase of 40 1oz pieces of Gold.

I had placed an order using the internet from a different G&S Vendor on a Saturday morning. Monday I was notified by this other Vendor (NOT Gold And Silver Online) that they would not accept my order due to the amount involved. It was their loss of a good customer.

After checking several of the online Gold & Silver Vendors, Gold And Silver Online not only had better prices but the service was unbeatable.

There was a serious mix-up on my part and both Eric and Carl were both patient and understanding. Within a few days the issue was resolved. Delivery was made in a timely manner.

Great place to purchase coins for investment.

My purpose was to find a trustworthy company to purchase gold coins from. I think I have found that in Gold & Silver online. It would be nice to have alternative shipping methods other than our (not so trustworthy government postal service) USPS, and when I called and asked about that the gentleman was happy to accomodate my shipping needs any way I wanted. Great prices and timely delivery; poor choice of packaging material for the coins.

The vendor has great prices for gold coins, and has delivered mine even before the scheduled date. The customer service was very helpful and could immediately track my order when I checked if my payment was received. The only improvement that I would suggest making is the package material they use for shipping coins. Now it is a not-too-soft plastic bag and you almost think that it can put a scratch on a pure gold coin. You would think that for an expensive item like that a soft tissue or something more protective and convenient can be used. Other than that, I am satisfied with my experience.

The gentlemen I spoke to over the phone was very nice and easy to speak with. He asked about me using a credit card opposed to ACH or bank wire, because there was additional fees associated with the use of a credit card. He was trying to save me some money, and I appreciate that. He said that my coins would ship in the first week of May and that is exactly when they did.

Reliable dealer to deliver advertised product per schedule

This was the first time i did business with the dealer. The ordering, payment and delivery process have all been as advertised. the product delivered also matched the description that was ordered.
The only area that the business needs to improve on relates to sending pro-active automated emails on the status of the order because of the postal/banking delays involved. I had to call to see if they have received the payments and when the delivery will be shipped.
It was nice to get someone on phone very quickly when called to check on the status.
Had a wonderful experience with the dealer on the timeliness and and quality of product delivered.

This site is a quick and easy study combined with really great customer service. My only small point of contention is that because I pay with a credit card, the materials I order have to be shipped to my home, as opposed to my office, where I spend a zillion hours a week. This was my second purchase from GS. Once the payment was confirmed, I saw the coins in three days. Very eased so far and would not hesitate to use again.

I looked at several different on-line dealers and some reviews before I decided to try Gold and Silver Online. I purchased some silver rounds and the shipping was pretty quick and very secure - signature required - not left at the door or in the mailbox, as I read some complaints for other shops. The box was well packed, and the return label was not "Gold and Silver Online" (so nobody would want to take it) which is nice too since I read about complaints from customers who never got their packages. The coins are beautiful too, and the price was a bit lower than some other sites I looked at too - so everything was good - good price, safe and secure payment process and shipping.

USPS WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM

All G&S did was fine ,only the USPS had the problems, the GS plumbing address was good so no one could tell the contents .
The package was shipped in two boxes , thank goodness , because the outside box was ripped half way open , but inside box was OK.
Called to say I sent a check 1st class mail and it might not be recieved in the correct time frame and the person I talked with was very helpful , made a note that the check was in the mail and all went well.
