You would be hard pressed to find better prices on prescription drugs if you have to pay in full yourself if you can't get them covered by insurance, but don't expect them to come when you need them. I found their prices to be significantly less than Costco's and maybe 1/3 of Walgreens, CVS, etc. but it takes many calls to get it done. Most calls I received absolutely wrong and "guaranteed" information about how many pills they could ship, when they would be shipped, and even that they were shipped and they would send me a tracking number, all not true. Unfortunately I ran out of drugs I needed before I received my RX both times so far. I have no idea whether or when they may have come if I hadn't called every day or two. I saved about $250 and received the same medication sold at Walgreens but it is run like a fly by night operation and I wouldn't send a new script to them. There are other FDA approved online pharmacies with slightly higher prices that I will try next time. Check online pharmacies out at: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/ResourcesForYou/Consumers/BuyingUsingMedicineSafely/BuyingMedicinesOvertheInternet/BeSafeRxKnowYourOnlinePharmacy/ucm318487.htm
My credit card was charged but I'd never received my products. When I asked for the refund, they kept saying they are going to send a check to me. Never received the check till today. I filed a consumer complaint and waiting for the result now.
They never shipped the third part of my order. Their "customer service" did not answer my e-mail asking whether they intended to send the last part of the order or not. It's a very common item, so I just bought it locally - which I should have done in the first place.
Do yourself a favor - do not get involved with these morons. If you need an item advised or ordered by a physician, you'd be insane to trust your health to Healthwarehouse. They seem to be running a summer camp (or something other than a pharmacy). They have no regard whatever for YOUR HEALTH. Think to yourself: are those pills really the ones you ordered?
Do yourself a second favor - use a virtual account number rather than giving them your REAL credit card number. I have no evidence that they are running any kind of scam to collect credit card numbers, but they sure ain't selling pharmaceuticals or supplies. It is painfully obvious that even if they are NOT involved in any credit card scam that they are so disorganized and screwed up that YOUR credit card and other personal data can't possibly be secure.
I think their customer service staff is paid by the number of help tickets they resolve. My tickets are always marked resolved though somehow they cannot seem to resolve my issue. I have asked repeatedly for them to contact my Dr. for a refill (a service they offer) and they fail to do so.
Ordered syringes, paid for two day shipping, 5 days later got an email saying they were backordered so who knows how long it would take. I ended up emailing them 3 times to cancel the order, and also left two voicemails since no one ever picks up the phone. Well two weeks later no reply and my package finally came. STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY REPLIES FROM THEM.. I should at least have my two day shipping refunded. Ridiculous joke of a company never using again.
I'm so upset. I ordered a product several weeks ago, just to get an e-mail saying that they product is 'out of stock' two weeks later. The product was supposed to be here in 3-7 days. That's a lie, it's 14 days just to get an e-mail saying they don't have the product. So where's my refund? I've sent several e-mail and made several calls demanding a refund with no response. God I'm so angry right now.
Why did these people (?) buy Hocks.com? I can only assume it was to drive loyal Hocks customers elsewhere. That's the effect, at any rate. Just to begin with, the prices are 33 to 50 percent higher than Hocks prices were. In my two orders, each has been acknowledged with an automated e-mail telling me that one OR MORE of the items I ordered is not in stock. The e-mail does not tell me which. An e-mail to their "customer service" has been totally ignored. After 7 days I still have no clue whether they plan to ship what I ordered and paid for or what their intentions might be. In my experience, when a company is constantly "out of stock" on items they advertise it means they are in financial trouble and will soon be out of business. But that's just my experience - I don't run a retail business. If their suppliers don't trust them, why should we? Look to ZipZoomFly.com as an example of suicide retailing.
Two failed orders is more than enough. Health Warehouse is no longer a consideration. If they can't even ship stuff easily available in local drugstores, I can't imagine how much angst I'd suffer if I were to trust them with a prescription. I'll consider myself lucky if they don't just take my money and disappear.
THEY RIPPED ME OFF. I PAID FOR 180 PILLS AND THEY SENT ME 30. THEY ARE THIEVES. I AM GOING TO CALL THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY ALSO AND MAKE SURE THAT THEY NEVER EVER ACCEPT ANY CHARGES FROM THESE CROOKS. THEY BELONG IN JAIL.
I ordered a couple items that did NOT require prescription. They took five days to just tell me that they're out of stock, and took them OVER TWO EFFING WEEKS to finally get a hold of everything and ship them to me. My order just passed the 3 week mark, and my order is still not in the mail. And their solution to keep me as a customer? A $15 coupon on my next order. LOL!! That's like finding a roach in your food at a restaurant, and the server responding by giving you a coupon for a free appetizer on your next visit. Are you *&^%^& kidding me!!!! I'm laughing as I write this review, cus this just sounds like satire, but it's actually exactly what happened. hahahahaha!
CVS stock holders I guess left negative reviews. Go to Facebook and see for yourself how happy everyone is then got to CVS you can't because there a ripofff. I have insurance and it still is better. 2x a year for meds to be refilled. More time better life.
So i thought my doctor would have no problem when i told him i was shopping around looking for a less expesnive way to fill Rx's. I was wrong. My doctor gave me an indepth reqson of why he would not participate in having me fill an Rx with this company, but he called it in to a local CVS.
I ordered a head of time, before my conversation with my doctor. Turns out if you can your order even before its been processed and are HONEST about why, you will be charged a 5% cancellation fee.
Also, somewhere between 10am and 3pm they tacked on another $1.00 as an adjustment fee which i still cant figure out
My first two orders went fine. The third, however is not fine. I ordered and paid for 180 pills. I received 90. Called right away, was assured it would be looked into and I would be called back. No call. Called the "customer service" live. Have waited twice for over an hour. Left messages, no call returned. No excuse for this kind of operation. I plan to move my business elsewhere.
Over two weeks ago, as instructed, I mailed my original prescription to Health Warehouse. I was told to include a daytime number and I would be called so that I could place an order. I was never called. The attempts to follow up have been completely frustrating. Six days ago I left a voice message, as instructed on the recording, and have never received a return call. I called again and, after 20 minutes, finally talked with a service rep. She assured me some one would call me the next day. No call was received. They have assured me that the prescription was never received, but the failur to return any calls as promised seriously raises my doubts about the current state of their operations. Previously, my experience had been satisfactory, but I will have to do business elsewhere.
I Placed an order over a week ago and it still has not been sent out. Most places send your product out same day depending on time or the next day. It has been over 5 days i placed my order on a monday and still no email verfication of a shipped order.. Health warehouse is loosing a customer do not use them.
Their service went from a 5 to a 1 in the last year Ives give them a currently undeserved 3 stars. My first few refills last year were flawless and cheap. For the past several months there is no response to voicemails or emails. I was told they have a new system. They might want to figure it out quick or they will be out of business. Too bad because I was referring business their way. Don't start working with them until they fix their systems. If you call and can't get through to a live person that will tell you to stay clear.
I had scheduled a regualrly scheduled refill to be shipped for my prescription. They never shipped when they were supposed to. They failed to respond to several voice mail messages. They are unreliable and have no customer support whatsoever. I'm done with them. Save yourself a lot of aggravation. Go elsewhere. Health Warehouse is horrible!
