I was looking for the Makita BMR101W DAB Site Radio. Having checked several places (locally & online), I found HssToolShop to be the best price collective price of item and P&P. (Note here, HssToolShop was FREE P&P. Some other online shops were marginally cheaper but charged for P&P which put them way above what HssToolShop offered).
From placing the order to delivery, I was kept full informed by e-mail of the proceedings, which included courier & tracking detail. The unit arrived the next day in pristine condition having been incredibly well packaged.

Quick delivery, easy to use website and hassle free.
I found the website very easy to use and the registration and purchase to be very well done and clear. The prices clearly showed whether they included VAT or not, unlike other competing websites who leave you in the dark until the final stages of payment.
Delivery was next day and the item was well packaged. I was kept up to date with emails telling me the status of my order.

Pure Quality and Value
The Makita BUR181Z cordless string trimmer arrived next day in a pristine, unopened manufacturer's own box. This was very well packed in a strong outer box with plastic air sachet protection inside. The product is extremely well designed and manufactured, and HSS are to be congratulated for stocking this line. I was not able to find better value anywhere else - and I did try very hard!

The price was the second best that I found scouring the internet, but they looked to be more reputable than the other shop.

Awesome Cordless Jigsaw
I bought the 18v Li-Ion Makita BJV180RFWX LXT Jigsaw and used it weekend just gone and it worked a treat on worktops, backsplash panels, kitchen unit carcass, plasterboards with tile adhesive on and much more, I plan to use it this weekend to cut T & G decking for my girlfriends parents loft space... aren't I nice :)

Excellent next day service. Keen prices & free delivery.
I am a self employed carpenter, my well-used Makita SDS Drill burned out its motor and I needed a replacement quickly, I did a quick search online and I was pleasantly surprised to find that HSS were the cheapest online supplier and included next day delivery for free.
The drill arrived at lunchtime the following day, which saved me the down time of going out to purchase a replacement over the counter, and didn't hold up the job unnecessarily.

Great price and service
I purchased a Makita drill, HSS were the cheapest, the drill was in stock and delivered the next working day, they emailed to say it was dispatched and again when it was to be delivered. Overall brilliant service and I will use them again.

A pleasure doing business with a company who delivered what they promised
Ordered a wet and dry vac on the Thursday, it was in stock and it was delivered the next day as advised. HSS kept us up to date electronically of the order progress. Not the cheapest price, but the slightly high cost was worth paying for the level of sevice they provided. The courier also kept us informed of the delivery process and delivered the next day.
Will use again again, and recommend.
