Item in stock for next day delivery - job done
As stated above, the item was available for next day delivery which is what I needed. Sometimes, internet-based companies do not inform you at the point of completing the order that the item is out of stock - which means waiting, or cancelling the order to find the product elsewhere at more cost and more time wasted.

Best competitive price I found after spending hours surfing the web.
I received my order well before 24 hours after I place my order. Wow, absolutely brilliant. Further, I was kept updated by text a few times on the delivery - well I could ask better than that for excellent customer service - especially as the item I ordered was exactly as it was described. A very communicative and affordable seller of Makita products

First class service for less
A truly first class service at prices that shouldn't be allowed! I purchased a Makita SDS drill cheaper than anywhere else on the internet and trust me I trawled the WWW for hours. The drill was dispatched and received within days. highly recommended retailler.

Batteries last for a long time, great volume for such a small radio, drills are very compact and all fits in a great carry case. A strong durable piece of kit but not bulky.

HSS for High Satisfaction Service!
I found the HSS website by accident when I was looking for an outdoor DAB radio and I took a chance by ordering the radio from HSS online. The price was similar to those offered by discount websites so I went ahead. The service I received was very efficient and prompt. It was reassuring at all times and matched, if not exceeded, the service provided by large national stockists. The communication of the progress of the order was excellent and I always felt reassured that my goods would be delivered on time as promised. They were... and I'm very happy with my Makita radio.

Did exactly what it said on the tin!!
What more can I say. I ordered my fein on friday morning, paid the extra £12 to get it before 10.30am saturday and got exactly the service I paid for. I will be shopping here again as the price was competetive even with the delivery charge!

I thought I had bought the best,until it's delivered I will never know
You know i told you that I had decided to buy that Makita Tool,well i found one brand new for a very good price on the HSS site,so i ordered it with free next day delivery.HSS sent me confirmation that it had gone to the courier,as I had not ordered it until quite late in the day I didn't expect to get it next day.I was right I did not get it next day nor the next and the one after that and because the weekend is here I wont see it til Monday or maybe not,who knows?.I did track the parcel and all that said the delivery time had runout.I rang the courier and was informed the driver had too much to do.So I am not blaming HSS they probably didn't realise they were dealing with a courier who does'nt live up to their expectations.I have now received the tool 5 days late but that was the courier not HSS.I was most impressed that HSS rang me and apologised and they also had been in contact with the courier.I must admit in all the time I have been buying on line this was a first.Maybe it's because they are in Surrey and all nice people come from there,guess where I originally came from.I will definitely buy from HSS again,Merry Christmas.

Cheapest by a long chalk and friendly with it
They're 70 miles away from where I live but worth the trek as nearly 200 quid cheaper for the chainsaw I was buying than anywhere else near me. Friendly people and good communication.

Awesome service!
I recently bought two Stihl chainsaws and the team from HSStoolshop were spot on. I received a call shortly after placing my order confirming when everything would be ready for collection. Upon collection all my items had been PDI'd and properly packed ready for my collection. I also received additional discounts on some saw accessories that I bought and a large free container of Stihl chain oil. So good to get friendly, quality and cost effective service these days. Top marks!

Brilliant!
Not done diy for a while now. Just laid ceramic floor tiles and used this blade for cuts. Performs faultlessly. How did I manage before? Another excellent Makita product !

Faultless sales service (no experience of after-sales service yet).
They asked the best price I could find, they send order acceptance and dispatch notices within minutes of placing the order, and the item was new, as described and packaged robustly. Only the Courier (UKMail) was substandard, failing to deliver the next day and claiming that they had called me to confirm my address but I had not answered, though I had been in all day and had no 'missed calls'.
I have not had to contact HSS for anything else and have not had any issues with the item so I cannot comment on their after sales service, however, which is just as important, so until I have had the item for the statutory warranty year there is always the possibility that I might have to reduce the number of stars, but the signs are good so far.

Fantastic service and delivery
Looked on line at 15.45hours for a Makita Angle Drill (Battery) and founf HSS were the best price, I phoned to check to see if they could deliver the following day, they said if I order on line by 160.oo hours it should be there for me and true to their word it turned up by 10.00am the following morning.

Best value and great customer care.
I was looking for a particular SDS drill and accessories and I needed it to arrive quickly. HSS were offering what I wanted at a great price with free next day delivery so they were an obvious choice. The delivery company somehow manage not to ship the the parcel to my local depot, which meant a delay of 24hrs; I phoned and HSS and they were apologetic and very helpful and upgraded the delivery to a 'before midday' service for the following day. So despite 'UKMail' messing up; I am still a very happy customer.

Simply the best
I was buying a router for my partners birthday, and I had no idea what one was. I googled it and came across hsstoolshop, easy website to use and without any trouble I found what I wanted to buy. Once I'd ordered I received an email to say my order has been processed. I really appreciated the email updates or where my Parcel was and when it would arrive. I would really recommend to anyone and would always go back to hsstoolshop if I ever needed anything else.
