Really good price and easy delivery process - good communication

Easy to deal with and good prices

Cooker went wrong on September 8th so ordered a replacement which was delivered a day later. Really happy with the delivery men who arrived in the given time slot and very pleased with the new cooker too.

Prompt efficient service , nothing to fault the product , communication, or description , based on this experience I rate at 5 star and I would happily return as a customer again

Competitively priced and easy to purchase, first delivery by BJS courier was an absolute shower of...and resulted in damaged items being rejected and sent back leaving us without a dishwasher and washing machine.
Hughes soon rearranged delivery with a local store and this was seamless.
Would of been 5 star if not let down by the incompetent, rude and unsafe third party courier company.

I am pleased with the product, it was a good price with the discount code and it arrived safely in good time.

Hughes as a company were excellent. We purchased a washing machine for my elderly mum who lives alone, We bought the full install/recycling. Unfortunately that part was subcontracted. BJS were awful and came out 3 times and has poor customer service. We went back to Hughes who were the complete opposite. You can tell how good a company is when things go wrong. They ensured that their own people went out to rectify all the issues, listened to everything and made a huge effort to make sure that everything went as planned. I would ensure that when the delivery is planned that it is not subcontracted to BJS. Thank you to all at Hughes.

Good prices and great customer service always my first choice when shopping for appliances

Store staff in Colchester were friendly and helpful and we liked the quiet calm and good light in the store (many thanks Wendy and Darren). The stars are for them.
Sadly their delivery service (BJS) really let them down. Comms were ok but the 2 guys were utterly incompetent and unhelpful removing the old fridge freezer, scraping our floor and making out it was a favour when we'd paid for that. When we finally got our new one in place, no thanks to them, we found it was damaged in a way that must have been done before or during transit due to nature of dent. Meanwhile they had scarpered, not checking the item or taking the packaging with them, as paid for in advance.
Now we're left with 4 bags of rubbish and a damaged door. Really poor.

The company (Hughes) are good but they use a poor delivery company. Bombard you with loads of texts and e mails re delivery but then arrived and refused to carry machine up 2 flights of stairs in my house in spite of Hughes having promised that they would. Eventually (an hour later )unwrapped machine to find it was damaged anyway. To cut a long story short another replacement was provided and installed by different guys with no fuss. The whole experience was most frustrating and wasted several hours of my time trying to sort the problem out.
