48 hour delivery not quite true.

I ordered an exercise bike on Sat the 31st March, so I did not count that as being part of the 48 hours delivery, instead from the Monday, I thought I'd receive it on Wed, Thurs at the latest. When I rang on Thurs morning, I was told it would be delivered Fri, but it was'nt. Following Monday was a bank holiday, so did not arrive til Tues 10th April.
That was only the beginning. It says on the blog about the exercise bike, there is some home assembly, should take about 40 mins. Yes, if you are an expert doing it everyday! Took me hours, the instructions are not very clear, and seem to be written by someone who's first language is not English.
The hardest thing to connect was the tension cable, as it did not properly fit where it was supposed to.
When I finally got the bike together the tension is all wrong, even at the lowest level I or my husband can hardly move the pedals, so I am going to have to take it apart again, and get someone else to do it for me.
I bought this particular bike, Powertech Pegasus, because it was cheaper than the one I really wanted. Trying to save money. If I had paid 55 euro more to Elvery's sports, I would have had the one I really wanted, and they would have assembled it for me. Sorry now. Cheaper is not always the best idea.

Shake shake shake

I bought a vibro plate as a present for my partner as she wanted one for a long time but found they were very expencive everywhere, We went online looking at the different types and came across the Irish sports warehouse and could not believe the differance in the prices there.We found them excellent value for money and they have an excellent delivery service,
My partner is now shaken and not stirred and very happy

i ordered a hillman golf trolley at the beggining of may and only got word today (16th may) that ill have it on the 18th may i dont mind having to wait but they could do with keepin me informed on wat was going on and why there was a delay other then that i find the web site very good and very cheap.all i ask is to keep in touch if there any problems. 9 of 10 from me when it comes to the company

Very happy with the service provided

Got delivery of the exercise bike on time. Assembly was fairly easy. A good sturdy product. One criticism only. The instructions regarding functions and features were not very clear. Some of the english was not easy to undestand. I believe it should be written in simple "easy to understand" language.

Worse experience in 12 years in Ireland

I am big online/eBay user and often expecting delivery of items bought online. Never had such a bad experience before.
I was searching present for my sister birthday on 05/05/12.
I paid for my order on the 26/04/12 with 48 hours delivery service.
No body was in contact with me until 01/05/12, there for i phoned my self to check where is my order.
I was told that unfortunately the machine i ordered was not in stock, but now they received it and it will be delivered on Thu 03/05/12. I could not understand - why nobody contacted me to inform about delay?! i got upset even more when machine did not came on expected day again! And no body was contacting me.
I phoned again next day 04/05/12 . Got surprised even more, i was told again that the machine is not in stock at the moment,but i will receive it on Tue 08/05/12. Of course i was not happy, but couldn't change anything, had just to wait.. But I did not received it again! Phoned in the evening to check what is happening now.
No body has apologized to me,I did not get even sorry. I was just told that there is delay due to BH. And the delivery will be in next day Wed 09/05.
I got fed up with the all situation and as i still did not get it on Wed, I phoned Thu 10/05/12 to check where can I COLLECT my order, as the service is so pure! I was hung up twice off the phone!
Eventually some one phoned me - and i got the exercise machine in the afternoon.
If I wouldn't tell my sister about the present I would definitively ask for refund and cancel the order!!
48 hours delivery turned in to 2.5 weeks delivery!
No body contacted me for all the time!
Very disappointing ! Not reliable company at all!

Not great

I ordered an inversion table on Monday about 1pm for 48hr delivery. I had rang the company about 5 times with no answer after the 48hours had passed.
The order eventually arrived at my door at about 1pm on Friday. 2 days late without an apology. I didn't mind the lateness as such but the fact that I wasn't there to receive it, they said I would have to collect it from Mulhuddart. I asked to leave it with my neighbour which they did.

Also, the inversion table appears to have been used and the instructions and parts that came with it were not correct.

I was very pleased with my purchase, excellent value for money especially when delivery was included.I would have liked an e mail or more notice by text about delivery.I only got 45 min.notice and I was nt near my phone when call came through. I drive 4 miles to meet delivery van as they had passed on to another residence.Overall very pleased with product

Problem with delivery and problem with product

I bought a BBQ last week. 48h delivery turned out to be 5 days. When putting BBQ together a lot of screws and holes didn't match so had to get new screws. When all sorted to connect to gas the top lock connection for the gas does not fit as Irish and uk gas bottles are different and there are no information regarding this. So we are still looking for an Irish part for the gas connection and have to spend More time and money to get this sorted. Surely you must know about this and should only be fare to inform costumers about this. Still have to use BBQ to know the quality of product but I'm not very pleased with service.

Bought an excerise bike from these guys. Best value around by miles. Delivered really speedily. Only gripe is my bottle cage is not the one advertised, it's cheap and rubbish. Everything else could not be bettered! Thanks lads.

Disappointed

I ordered a trampoline on the 20th of April, I still am not in a position to use it as it was missing a support bar which means its part assembled in the garden, we phoned the company and once the women finally relished what part we were explaining, she told us it would be sent straight out. Still waiting to the disappointment of the children who have anxiously been waiting to use it for the last week and a half. I just hope when the part comes that we won't be missing anymore parts, as we're only in the early stages of assembly.

Don't use this company

I ordered a foldable pool table which is advertised as free 48 hr delivery. 6 working days later it still has not arrived. Despite being assured (twice) that the order has been loaded onto a van and has been despatched it still has not arrived. Cancelling the order as have no faith that this company have any desire or capacity to fulfill the expectations they set.

Quality Equipment, fantast service, affordable prices

I bought the BodyTrain IS650 Exercise Bike for my husband who had surgury on his hips and needed a sturdy, easy to use bike (pluse it was our 2nd anniversary). This bike is so silent, it's digital and easy to you. And the seat is big enought so doesn't hurt your bum and the pedals have weights so they stay the right way up. Delivery was only 2 days compared to 28 days with other vendors so received the bike on time for our anniversary. Plus after I researched both in stores and on line this was a very good value for money bike. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Good value but slow delivery

Good value offer on my purchase (inversion table) but didnt arrive within 48 hours as promised on their website. I ordered it on a Monday and it arrived that Friday. Not a major issue as the purchase wasnt urgent, but nevertheless its never good to over-promise and under-deliver.

Absolutely no customer service

I received my product, an exercise bike and as soon as I began to piece it together, I noticed that one part was badly damaged. The connection between the base of the bike and the handle bars, which means that I cannot connect them, therefore leaving the bike useless in its current state. I instantly filled in the customer feedback form on their website and I have since emailed. To both of which I got no reply, not even an automated message. The bike has been sitting in it seperate pieces now for a week. And as it states in the terms and conditions, it only allows for 48 hours of complaints/issues. I will have to get a hammer/some sort of tool to the bike in order to get it working. Dreadful customer service and I cannot comment on the product as I have not used it yet.

Brilliant Service

does what it says on the tin

I ordered my ironman multigym on a sunday at 11pm, and it arrived the following friday at 5.30 pm, gym itself is blooming excellent, now for just a few minor gripes, i was ment to be contacted by phone to be given a date of deliverly, this did not happen, instead i got a call from the courier to say he would be with me in the next hour.......lucky i was at home!!!!. 2nd gripe the poor guy was on his own and he wasnt a young man, and he had to lift in 5 boxes which combined were at least 300lbs. As i said the gym is great, put together in an hour it says, dont make me laugh, took me and my brother best part of 5 hours.
Lastly there was no list or directions of the 20 excerises that the gym can do , my old gym had clear instructions, im experienced in lifting weights so i knew what to do, but for beginners they would be left guessing. All in all im very pleased with the gym and the very very fast delivery, i had ordered a gym from argos and was told it would be 5 weeks, 5 weeks later i got a call to say it was delayed for a further 8 weeks, canceled that and found irish sports warehouse....id recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
