No problems with this company.

I use JD Williams frequently they process my order promptly and returns are no problem either. I would recommend other to use this company for customer satisfaction.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IGNORE LETTERS AND EMAILS, JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!

I ordered a few items from various JD Williams and co. catalogues i.e. simply be, julipa, premier man, brilliant gift shop. I kept up payments and, after a few disappointing quality issues, I decided to return everything and send a letter listing it all (which took about 2 hours), copied the receipts and sent recorded delivery. They DENIED getting this even though someone signed for it, I also emailed receipts and told them to stop harassing me with statements, threatening letters etc. and they still ignore me. When I phone they say it will be dealt with just to fob me off.
I am now going to report them to trading standards, the police (action fraud) and consumer service - just look at all the other terrible reviews and see how they treat people - like muck basically - they want your money and don't care about anything else! Take care!

in my opinion try another catalogue.
I placed a very small order just one present for for an elderly family member only about 20 pound and anyway my situation changed so I told a member of staff that the item would be paid in full and soon, they set up no plan just said ok.
I log into my account to pay and the total is now over 100 pound with three a day charges of 12-15 pound added this is why I told them my situation had changed so all these extra charges were put on hold but no my account now looks like it was "bring a child to work day" and the child just added 3 charges of 15 pound per day just for the sake of it.
it will save you a lot of headache if you tried another catalogue there is better managed ones out there.

Identity fraud part 3...posted on 21st March 2014

Very interesting, this review website does not work properly as I have just posted this review on 21st March 2014 around 4.30 pm and it shows that it was posted 42 hrs ago. Interestingly enough, that was when my previous review was posted and I cannot see it anywhere here!
"So a week has past.
I have never heard from Premier Man and talking about Julipa, they sent the courier and even though I requested him to collect the staff today at 4pm, he left the message that he only collects at AM, which is completely not true!!! AND HE STOLE A NOTICE ON MY DOOR SAYING "NO PARCELS PLEASE". That is completely unacceptable.
They still have not sent me the free return stickers.
I am going to the police station tomorrow to report it."

5th April 2014
I have sent back the 2 parcels J D Williams sent to me (even though I have never ordered them) around 2 weeks ago.
I contacted them many times asking for sorting out the charges on that fictitious or fraudulent personal account they created in my name and for deleting that account and all the information about me they had on their system and I asked on the phone (talking to a lady from their fraud department) to send me a letter confirming that all that has been done. I said very clearly to that lady that I will never be their customer.
That was almost 2 weeks ago.
I have never got the letter but today I got their b****y catalogue, which just proves that they never followed my request and they disregard the law completely ( as I am registered with CIFA's since 16th March 2014).
They have no right to keep any of my details and that fraudulent account on their systems against my will as I never gave them those details. They either bought it and used to con me or somebody stole my identity and ordered staff in my name. Either way they do not have it from me and I requested on many accession the removal of my data from their computers. They harass me by sending those catalogues as I said very clearly that I was never their customer and will never be and knowing that it is the identity fraud case, their behaviour just proves complete lack of respect to law or ethics, a really low blow!

11th April 2014
So I have been emailing them numerous times throughout the week and nobody answered my query about what happened to those fraudulent accounts after I have sent the parcels back (24th March 2014). They refuse my right of knowing those basic facts. The letters never came even thought they were promised by a lady from their fraud department on 24th March 2014 ( who by the way totally ridiculed me saying that the whole situation was a "joke" and that police will do nothing about it, that the "orders we destroyed" so I cannot have the copies it!!!) She refused to tell me her surname and that tells me a lot about this company!!!

Identity fraud!!!

On Friday when I came back home from work I have found on the corridor in front of my flat 2 massive parcels from that company, which had torn packaging and the invoices were compromised and tampered with ( the return stickers were removed). It came to me as a massive shock for variety of reasons:
1) I have never heard about this company before but somehow without my knowledge and consent they MANAGED TO CREATE A PERSONAL ACCOUNT IN MY NAME, THEY SENT ME THE GOODS I HAVE NEVER ORDERED!!!
2) THEY LEFT THE PARCELS ON THE CORRIDOR OF THE BLOCK OF FLATS (I live in 6 storeys block of flats and basically anybody could have stolen the parcels from the corridor without any suspicion) ALSO I HAVE NEVER SIGNED FOR THOSE PARCELS TO THE CURRIER AS I WAS AT WORK THE WHOLE DAY - I COULD EQUALLY WELL BE AWAY FOR A WEEK AND THOSE PARCELS WOULD BE STOLEN FOR SURE!!! The courier did not leave any information whatsoever!!!
3) I emailed the complaints to the company twice already with no reply whatsoever!!!
4) God knows who was going through those parcels and has now my details while they were on that corridor, and that is clearly breach of data protection and confidentiality.
It really seems that they do not care about my request to remove that fraudulent account and all data from their systems and to send me the copies of orders and at least some information on the data they hold on me and whether I paid for it or not.
They basically ignored the whole thing and never sent me the return stickers but managed to send me a couple of catalogues. Clearly it is a con company and I will make sure that none of my friends will ever use their services. Maybe I should even inform the medias because the whole situation is just shocking!!!

Failed to even deliver, and then failed to rectify

I ordered two pairs of Wellington boots for delivery. I received notification that they would be delivered on Friday. No delivery took place that day, but on the Saturday afternoon, I received an E-mail to say that delivery had been successful. This was odd, as there was nobody there at that time to take delivery. When I arrived back at my address, there was no indication that anything had been delivered, and no card to say that delivery was with neighbours. None of the neighbours had received them. On phoning to explain this, I was told that they would require to write to me so I could then confirm that delivery had failed, and that once this was confirmed they could reimburse me. I asked how long this would take and they said it should be within 28 days! Meantime, they asked if I wished to reorder. I pointed out that I would not be willing to reorder goods that had never arrived and that I had already paid for. Clearly there are questions about the reliability and honesty of deliveries, and the customer service policies in failing to rectify the problem are appalling. Do not risk your money with this company.

Evil

i went into hospital for a few months and while i was in there they started adding charges to my account. Then they were phoning everyday and as i wasn't there they spoke to anybody who answered my phone including my 16 yr old sister whom they threatened and scared half to death. When i did come home they agreed to refund all the charges if i sent in doctors letters. I sent in 2 and no refund. 4 years later i am still getting grief this time of another company because my account was sold on. I have spoken to everyone i can and written to every address owned by them and still nothing. They are rude aggressive and not trust worthy. My balance is that of charges that they refuse to remove. Never again

Family member passed away so unaware of account, then abusive awfull, threatning and abusive calls and letters for demands for money, told them account holder died, sent in death certificate, then debt collector letters arrive!!!

Pay Now Get Items Next Year

3 strikes and they are out.

1. Ordered two flat packed desks, arrived late and damaged after several phone calls they agreed to refund delivery charge still paid for 2 damaged desks though.

2. Ordered a washing machine as wife just out of hospital needed it urgent paid extra for quick delivery, two weeks late still no refund on delivery charge.

3. Ordered a TV, told it will be 3 - 5 working days, told it could be tracked on their site, the site said item had been dispatched, 2 days later we get a phone call telling us it hasn't been sent out in fact it's going to be another week. Things are improving we got a phone call.

Worse company ever if you need something within a time frame, undamaged or expect a refund for paying extra for fast delivery.

ordered a tv paid the extra to have it next day 6days later still waiting for tv.there is no number to ring after 8pm thats when u have to wait to see if your order turns up the office closes at6 pm so no use to anyone.will not be using this website again and i will be telling friends and friends not to use this website.very poor customer service care and after sales no help at all on the phone rubbish rubbish rubbish do not use this company.

Very unhelpful and uncaring except about adding their admin charges

This company was used by my mother who shopped with their 'Special Collection' catalogue. When she went into hospital long term and the payments were missed they added admin charges for fun. £12 a time and she only owed £15 to start with. I made a payment for her and phone and wrote to them to say i expected the account to be closed due to the circumstances. The payment was twice what she Owed at the start. They never acknowledged the letter and carried on adding charges even though they had been told she couldn't manage her affairs. now they are pursuing her with an unsavoury debt collector. I had also completed a claim form for an account protection policy she had. The hospital filled out their bit and returned it. Never heard of since, how convenient for them.

These people are predatory, unhelpful, uncaring, unsympathetic monsters who are only interested in chasing admin charges.
Stay clear of them, there is better out there. Don't give these vermin your money

Letter

Just received an arrears letter for £0.00. The letter also states that it is charging me £10.00 to send it. I would like to see them try!!! As per other comments this company seems to leave a bit to be desired!!

nasty& uncalled for arrears department letter

first ever late payment resulted in threatening letter. this despite having always paid several times the minimum payment every time. not good enough. they just lost a good customer.

If I could give no stars that would be too many

Poor service, Poor delivery, Poor customer service, Poor quality, Poor aftersales care!

The interest rates are high the quality of garments is very poor. These are serious importers of seconds...and they sell at top buck. Nothing lasts more than 2 washes...quality control sucks.

Recieved damaged items on 3 occasions!

I bought a henry hoover it came and had a dented pipe, i bought a sat nav with faulty software on and there last chance was a tv i ordered also faulty and returned like the others but it suddenly vanished in transit (there own courrier!)and they denied all knowledge of recieving it it took almost a year and a hell of a lot of upset before they finally resolved the issue. There interest charges are high and there operators phone you all hours of the day if you do not pay! even when you have returned the item!. I am just doing all i can to pay them off now and will never order from them again as long as i live.
