there was a delay on my order but i was contacted by Valerie and was asked if i wanted to cancel my order or keep it on order with the offer of a discount,i kept my order,my watch arived far sooner than expected but i still recieved my discount as promised,i would use jura again without hesitation,If i wasn,t happy i would not !!

After a number of weeks research on the net and considering a budget I finally choice to purchase my Fortis Spacematic with Jura Watches .
With the order processed fairly quickly and what now seems the standard security check with foreign online purchases there occurred a lapse in communication regarding the order .
My mind was put to ease as the most helpful and efficient Danielle at the Jura Shop as she gave me updates and emailed responses to my many queries regarding my order .
I am very happy to say it arrived as predicted by Jura (Danielle)

I stumbled across Jura Watches just after Christmas 2011 when I began my search for a new watch. I was not sure what I wanted but I do live a fair distance from a major city and so was keen to buy on line.
I think their website is good. I like the variety of pricepoints and brands. My first direct contact was via their live web chat - I asked if they could source a Raymond Weil watch that they did not have in stock. They were friendly, took my details and promised to phone me back. 24 hours later I had still not heard anything and so I tried the webchat again - I was told that Raymond Weil were probably still closed after the holidays and once again I was promised that someone would call me back asap. I am still waiting.
I continued my search and decided to increase my budget and buy an automatic watch. I placed an order for a Ball watch - 1-2 weeks delivery but changed my mind. They agreed to refund and this was done immediately - no complaints there.
I finally decided on an Oris watch and placed my order - 4-7 days delivery. I waited excitedly and then noticed that the delivery date had been changed on the website confirmation of my order. I had received no such notification personally. This happened on 2 more occasions. I then emailed them twice but received no response. Eventually I phoned them and was told that the watch would not be in until the end of March - 2 months away. I cancelled the order. Again this was done promptly. While I was talking to someone I asked how long it would take another Ball watch (this one said 'call us') I was promised that someone would call me back. I emailed to chase this up the next working day. Still nothing. Still waiting. Even a quick update with 'no news yet' would have been better.
I appreciate that Jura is subject to delivery from Switzerland etc. but their communication skills are very poor. There are no email updates, no text updates and they change things without telling you. They also have a very poor record (with me) or returning calls or finding out information once you have put the phone down.
So, as there are very few decent watch sellers on line it is likely that I will continue to peruse Jura watches and may indeed buy. I am sure that if I ordered a watch that they had in stock it would be delivered the next day without any problems. It seems to me that the problems start when we are talking about watches that are not actually in the shop. These problems are compounded by dreadful customer service and poor communications. It is such a shame as they sell such nice watches.

Watch arrived speedily and without issue however some slight damage to packaging
The watch arrived speedily and as expected however the outer casing was worn around the edges - it looked as if it had been knocking around the warehouse a long time.
As there was no issue with the watch itself (pristine) I have not contacted Jura watches.

I am really pleased with both my new watch and the service I received from Jura. When I visited the Jura shop in London a couple of months ago I explained I was just wanting to look at a couple of brands that I found difficult to find in Edinburgh and would not necessarily be buying at that visit. Nevertheless the staff were extremely helpful and spent time with me going through a couple of ranges.
The website is good, features a live stock check and carries 360 degree images of many of the watches although obviously I would suggest viewing then in person if possible. I couldn't find many other retailers with such a wide range of brands - I looked at UBoat, Bell & Ross, Ball, Glycine and Bremont (and chose a Bremont). I bought from the website and the watch arrived by recorded delivery on the day promised.
I also got the watch at a great price in the sale - the website is regularly updated with sale watches so worth keeping an eye on. I sent a couple of follow up questions by email which the help desk replied to within a day.
Would definitely use Jura / Watch Gallery again.

Very quick service, but some issues on web
Firstly, I am very pleased with the watch and the delivery service for getting it to me so quickly during such a busy period. But a few issues on the website: Although it promised, and actually delivered the watch the next day, the confirmation screen told me it would not be till after Christmas, forcing me to phone up unecessarily. The web site also promised a free ipod with this watch, I don't know if I missed some option, but I certainly did not get one. Finally it said that a free tool would be provided for adjusting the watch, perhaps I once again missed the option, but this was something I would have liked that I did not get.

Going the extra mile
After ordering my Ball watch online (something I have never considered before ) Jura phoned me to let me know they would be replacing the strap from Ball and I may have to wait a few more days - this being immediately prior to Christmas.
The watch arrived when I expected it first time around, excellent service and Jura certainly went the extra mile.. Gotta love the lights on the Ball watches!!

Excellent quality watch case. High-grain leather outer complements the two watch pouch arrangement. For me personally this is home to my 70s Omega Seamaster while the other side will keep certain accessories. Thanks guys.

Fortis pilot pro day date
On the website it stated the watch would come with a deployment clasp, this was not the case I phoned Jura to ask why this was and was told it was a mistake on their website, if I wanted a deployment it would cost me £130 not very impressed with the customer service I received, I also did not receive the Fortis wallet with instructions for the watch. Would not buy from them again because of the misleading website, I think I may have a case for trading standards

The case of the disappearing special
Well the special price on a Ball watch seemed to good to be true.
I ordered and paid by credit card, and got a confirmation by email, but when I checked online I found the sale was cancelled because I "specified a non Euro delivery address".
Jura have since apologised for that sale was cancelled, although the watch has still been sold. But they cared enough to follow up.
