Superb standard of sevice

I have had a delivery of another bed this week and once again can only praise the fabulous service from the staff at lob. My son had out grown his single bed purchased some years ago from lob he's slept brillantly on his very comfy new double bed. We found the on line ordering very easy and the bed arrived on time in perfet condition. Thanks

Do not deal with this company!!

Dealing with this company proved to be an absolute nightmare for us.
We purchased a mattress from National Bed Store. The payment was taken by The Easysleepco and when the mattress proved to be unsuitable all correspondence was with LAND OF BEDS. All 3 companies share the same phone number so it is reasonable to assume they are the same company trading under different names.
We already own a memory foam mattress and ordered another from the same manufacturer, having been assured by the very pleasant sales person that the feel would be similar if manufactured by the same company.
The ordering and delivery were faultless, but my wife found the mattress to be too firm, saying it was like trying to sleep on the floor. We attempted to get the company to take the mattress back as it was impossible for my wife to sleep on it and, in our opinion, did not seem to be as described. Many emails were exchanged, which may be viewed by any interested party. In our opinion, it seems that this company totally ignored our rights under The Sale of Goods Act and the Distance Selling Regulations and did not even send a copy of their terms and conditions until AFTER the dispute had arisen.
People living near the company may well have a pleasant experience when dealing with them. If you live at a distance, as we do, in our opinion it would seem to be only advisable to deal with them if you have already tried the same mattress before ordering.
We would advise you to be sure to purchase using a credit card, then the card company is equally responsible in defending any action you may take. If it had not been for M&S Money we would still be in a nightmare situation.
Buying and selling online is a massive business which depends on total trust between buyer and seller. Because of our experience with this company we will never buy online again without`a cast iron written guarantee. We are writing this review in the hope that it will help others to avoid the dreadful experience we suffered as a result of dealing with this company.
For a truly exceptionall service look for an independent mattress manufacturer from Manchester. They offer a guarantee that they will take the product back at their expense, with a full refund, after 28 days of trial.

Excellent Service

Straightforward ordering system on the website and accurate status reporting so that I could keep track of my order. My new Dunlopillo Diamond mattress arrived on time and is very comfortable. I would certainly use Land of Beds again and recommend them to others.

I am so pleased with the way my order was taken. They even called me back to make sure that I chose the base colour I wanted from several options, and the sales lady helped by offering an opinion on the various options. Such a warm, friendly service. The bed arrived as promised, with the delivery firm 'phoning to arrange drop off, including a call to tell me exactly when they would arrive after battling through the traffic.
I am so pleased with my Hypnos bed, it's like sleeping on a cloud!

Excellent service!!!

I came across the Land of Beds website and was immediatley drawn to it as it was clear and easy to use. I called and was helped by Maria who was friendly and informative and answered all of my questions. The bed was delivered, true to their word on the day promised and it is brilliant!!! I would recommend this friendly efficient company to all.

Excellent delivery, great staff, all round perfect service

I recently ordered a bed from Land of beds, I spent a lot of time researching the type of bed I wanted and I contacted many bed shops to find the relevant information, Of all the companies I contacted land of beds came out on top. The members of staff were excellent, they spent a lot of time going through products with me to help me find the perfect bed, they were very knowledgable and nothing I asked of them was too much trouble. They were also very well priced. The delivery was excellent and went very smoothly. I will certainly be recommending this company to friends and family and will use them again in the future.

Everything was great until delivery

The delivery system is poor. We asked for delivery after 2pm and they wanted to deliver at 12.45pm which was no good to us. This area needs looking at urgently because we now have to wait until the 23rd which is not good enough.

Found the number on the Internet after doing some homework on prices and quality of mattresses. The phone was answered by a friendly person who talked me through the whole process of buying the mattress that I wanted and I was pleased to be speaking to a genuine person rather than a call centre or sales department.

I was kept updated through regular emails, and couldn't be happier with the purchase or process, or with the price for that matter, still haven’t found one cheaper.

From ordering to sleeping in less than 2 weeks

We needed the bed and headboard in a hurry as relatives were coming from Australia. The staff were superb and organised eerything and the goods came in less than 2 weeks. The delivery company were prompt, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend Land of Beds

Choosing and buying a bed is such a big decision I had to be sure that I would be buying quality and that I would be getting the best product at the best price. When I make a purchase of any item I do my research thouroughly checking out all retailers along with internet stores then when I find what I want I prefer to ring and make contact with a person just for piece of mind. With Land of Beds I was able to do exactly that and I felt confident to then make my purchase. I have used land of beds on two occasions now and I would recommend them without hesitation. I do think they go that extra mile to help and advise especially if you prefer to speak to an advisor

I was very pleased with the bed I ordered,I hope my mother will appreciate it as she is very demanding when it comes to comfort, she is currently in hospital so we must wait and see.

SO FAR SO SEALY

The Lord said "You have a fine firm Sealy mattress and two soft pillows. Go forth". I replied "I was thinking more three and a half". The Lord replied "The mattress cover is on its way". "Express delivery?" I asked. The Lord said "Oh OK".

AWESOME SERVICE

Purchased a Myers divan from Land of beds and the service given by them was exceptional from start to finish . The price promise was honoured without any hesitation and the sales person on the phone took my order professionally and cheerfully and I was treated with respect and courtesy.The delivery team kept me informed about the delivery progress and the divan was delivered within the time scale and was carried to the room of my choice by the driver.
Overall I cannot fault the service given to me and have no hesitation in recommending Land of beds to anyone.

A comfortable mattress and better than we had!

It was amazing to see it arriving in a wee box and then expanding to full size. We bought on recommenation.

They phoned the next day to say they could. I chose a base from their website and its being delivered next week. brilliant

Lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the mattresses I was looking at!

Delivery went very well I was given a 2 hour time slot and the driver even called me half an hour before the actual delivery!!

exactly as described in the ad (1st Class)

The Sleepeezee beds and headboards are very good quality and delivered within timescale. Just two small points - we had a text and a phone call advising that our order was being delivered and we assumed it was our beds!! It was only the Headboards that turned up. We had no idea the order was being delivered in two parts.. A week later another phone call advised that the beds were being delivered, this was ok but we thought we were getting the items assembled not just deposited. Overall We are very
happy with Land of Beds and recommend that if you want a bed LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THIS SUPPLIER

I was a little hesitant, but I needn't have been. Everything was as described, right down to the delivery description.

Would I use them again? Yes I would.
Would I recommend? Yes I do.

Good site, good delivery, 5 star all the way!

A very clear and concise site.
I was phoned to arrange delivery to suit me and then a confirmation text next day. A phone call from delivery team 10 mins before arrival.
From navigating the site to delivery the experience was faultless.

Good ordering but let down by terrible, awful delivery

The website makes it easy to browse the products and the choice is good. Once ordered that's when it all goes wrong unfortunately: poor communication about lead times, few options, slow responses and terrible communication organising delivery. For example: there is only one delivery slot PER WEEK for an area, if you miss it or can't make that day it's at least another week before they can deliver.

I would not use them again. If I had known about the small options for delivery and the once-a-week only option available I would not have ordered. If you care about when your mattresss arrives then please go elsewhere, it'll be worth the extra £10 or so saved for the ability to have it delivered soon and when you are able to receive it.

However, we are sorry to hear that the delivery slots were not that convenient for you. We do cover the whole country on a weekly basis and try to be as flexible as possible with customer requirements. We do try to give at least 3 - 5 days notice and provide a 2 hour time window on your day of delivery. We also call all customers on route 30 mins prior to arrival. Damaged Goods!

My Seale Kingsize mattress arrived in a filthy polythene wrapping. My husband was covered in thick dust whilst unwrapping it only then to find the mattress was torn in several areas around the boundary of the mattress. Upon notifying Land of Beds (LOB) they advised me that they had no more in stock and Seale would have to replace it direct - three weeks on I am expecting a replacement on Wednesday! Although, not quite sure when they are picking up the damaged one.

LOB acted swiftly upon my complaint (after emailing photos of the damaged mattress), but I was disappointed that I had to wait for the manufacturers to replace and to wait three weeks.

Beds were delivered quickly after order was placed. Cant fault customer service when arranging delivery and the beds when built do exactly what they should.
good value, proper customer service and friendly delivery men, cant ask for more.

Price promise, they mean what they say

I can only rate 4 stars, as I have not yet received my order.
But I did find the beds cheaper on another website, and Land of beds, were as good as their word. Not only did they reduce the beds, they gave them for LESS than the other website.
The beds I ordered were out of stock, and I will have to wait a few weeks for them to arrive. I have every cofidence that I will get them as promised. Then I will be able to upgrade to 5 stars.
I would recommend land of beds to any prospective buyers.

The service I recieved from start to finsh was great and my new bed is amazing.
The delivery was fast and well organised and was recieved within the expected time.
