Delivery driver had the cheek to sign my name!
Surprised that my package was posted through the letter box, so checked the tracking information and it was signed for by me - however that was impossible as I was working in Paris at that time. It turns out the delivery driver, from DPD, signed my name and posted it through the door! Unbelievable.

Neat, quick, complete, USB switching - should have got it years ago!
With one PC, a laptop and three printers I often wondered how to simplify USB connections. With a new PC requiring several weeks of parallel operation I had to simplify the spiders web of cabling. A switchable USB hub with 2 PC inputs and 4 USB outputs is almost ideal.
I was nervous about whether my new PC (Windows 8) could recognise the printers beyond the hub. They had to be switched on (of course!) to be recognised. Then immediate hookup - no need to load device drivers.
In fact it came with more than I expected - it included 2 PC to USB B cables as well. I had ordered these as well. Product info could make this clearer.
Result now excellent switchable system - only one of two that I could find, the other with bad reviews.
Ideally the same with 3 inputs and PC-controlled switching would be perfect to plug in the laptop without unplugging one of the PCs. But this will do fine. Incidentally well packaged and prompt delivery. Thank you Lindy UK.

excellent fast delivery
i got this usb3 cable from lindy delivered extremely quickly, i was gutted when it didnt work !. the external drive case i had, was fitted with sockets for both firewire800 and usb3.
i had used the firewire 800 socket for over a year, i then got a new lap top with usb3 so it was logical to get a usb3 cable for the extra speed, but it didnt work.
the case was no good, the case came from CCL online !!!!

Wow! Amazing Service, Thank You Lindy!
Absolutely delighted with the service from Lindy, in all respects. I was looking for a specific cabling solution involving linking an old (200?) firewire piece of kit to the newest, 800 Firewire. Excellent advice from Lindy as to products available etc.
When I placed the order (online), it was around 4:30pm on a Friday. Opted for the basic first class delivery rather than the guaranteed next day, as it wasn't urgent. Received immediately an order acknowledgement - and within 15 minutes received confirmation of despatch.
Amazed to discover that my cable, perfectly packaged, arrived on the Saturday morning! If only every service organisation worked like this. Product quality also excellent.

A very slick service
Great service and good stock but lacks critical pieces of the jig saw.
They do not stock simple female to female HDMI converters but stock a million different types of cable and have to get that from another supplier.

Lindy are the cable guys
I've bought many cables from Lindy over the past several years and they always provide me with good cables and delivery is always quick. If I need a cable, especially a long one like 15 metres or more, my first port of call is always Lindy. They have not failed to deliver what I ask for. Also even with delivery charges they are cheaper than a lot of high street electronics stores. So I shop with them because they always have what I want, they are reliable and they are quick. What more can anyone ask for.

Just done a bit of investigating...without going into the specifics of your order, we can only advise customers that once a product has left our premises using Royal Mail delivery we can't provide a guaranteed delivery date - no supplier can. This is why we offer a next working day courier service which is guaranteed. In our experience,the vast majority of Royal Mail deliveries reach the customer within 2 working days, but Royal Mail Ts & Cs do state that 15 days have to be allowed for a parcel to be reported missing.
So, some general advice to all our customers - if you need to have products for an installation on a certain date, please use the next working day delivery option.

Recommended by Apple Technical UK, they were right
Before going to the website I read various papers and tutorials from Apple which were out of date and incorrect from my point of view. Had an idea that I needed some form of DVI connection to Thunderbolt, whatever that meant.
Went to the website and found two items which may fit the bill, one for £15 and one for £100. Rang the company and got through to a proper person who asked what I needed, what screen resolution and explained, in words which even I could understand, why I could manage with the cheaper version. Sense at last.
Ordered the part, received confirmation of delivery and confirmation of the price, received it by the next post complete with paper copy invoice for VAT.
Connected the thing to the thunderbolt and it worked…… and still is.
When I'm losing e-mails and British telecom/ Yahoo cannot help. Apple technical can't help about hard drive permissions without two days reading and leaving messages on landlines which I have solely for broadband, when I have 'THE IPHONE' and haven't replied to my messages sent days ago, THIS IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR..

I ordered a set of noise cancellation headphones from website mistakenly clicked on older model .
Rang postmaster next day they changed order straight away still arriviing next day ,in time to take on a long haul flight to China . These headphones are awesome everybody i gave a demo to wanted them .My work colleague and i saw a pair of sendheiser active noise cancellation in Shanghai duty free for £ 300 .00 madness you cannot beat the value and performance of these cans .

All wired up
I was amazed at the variety of leads stocked by Lindy when I visited their site I had almost given up hope of finding a way to connect my Firewire card to my P.C. , when I came upon their site, all the power connections in my tower are SATA, and the connection on my card is Molex....not a problem for Lindy, I'm sure that they can supply a way of connecting anything to anything.
