OK site, but support requires ID "verification" and is highly unskilled.

The website itself works as it is, but the support is extremely lacking. Replies will take more than a week, and the only real thing they are looking out for is your ID for "verification". The incompetence of the support staff is also high, and they will block you out of your account resulting in you losing your funds.

They will not provide any proof of industry standards regarding the handling of your personal information such like ID, but they will take it before providing any decent support. I have never come across another company asking for your ID if you want to change your email.

Be extremely careful with your money on this website, don't expect any help without providing ID and if you do expect the support to be very slow and incompetent. You will have repeat your request multiple times, while waiting multiple days for a response.

We have been operating as a professional seller on Cardmarket since 2023, generally experiencing good service and communication with the platform. However, a recent experience with the support team has raised serious concerns regarding how professional merchants are treated.

After realizing an item from an unpaid order was out of stock, we proactively contacted the buyer well before the 7-day payment window expired. We offered our sincere apologies, along with two options: selecting an alternative card of equal value or canceling the order. The buyer responded aggressively and inappropriately, demanding financial compensation prior to payment just to agree to the cancellation.

As a professional business, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior and unreasonable financial demands. We escalated the entire chat log to Cardmarket support, expecting a fair review.

To our surprise, instead of addressing the buyer's conduct or mediating the issue professionally, the support team's final resolution was to impose a 30-day account suspension simply because they had to intervene.

Punishing a long-standing professional seller for refusing to tolerate customer harassment sets a troubling precedent. We strongly advise other professional sellers to consider this policy risk when deciding to build their business on Cardmarket.

I recently deposited money into my Cardmarket account because I needed to purchase some products. While I was browsing products and sellers on the website, I suddenly received a Cloudflare Error 1015 saying that I was being rate limited.

Now I cannot access the Cardmarket website at all. My money is currently in my Cardmarket account, yet I am temporarily unable to access my account or use my funds.

I find this extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I was simply browsing the marketplace, and now I am being blocked from accessing an account that contains my money.

I would like to know why this happened and when I will be able to access my account again.

Cardmarket is protecting scammers and hiding negative feedback. I paid for my cards, but the seller keeps lying, refuses to provide tracking information, and continues selling items to other people.

When I contacted support for help, they completely ignored the issue. To make matters worse, they are actively hiding negative reviews (like one from another buyer stating the seller shipped two weeks late and gave false information) to keep this dishonest seller's reputation artificially inflated.

Do not trust this platform or their sellers. They do not protect buyers.

Waited 7 days for agent response. Then he demanded my ID just to use their site when I asked why he refused to help.
Had to cancel my order.

Recently started my 4th homecoming to MTG and needed a decent bunch of cards for several of new decks. Never before I used Cardmarket or other trading services. And live far away in EU on the island. So what I want to say is my experience with Cardmarket was pretty amazing. Not a single nitpick regarding any of my 8 purchases. To my surprise I have never waited more than a month for a card arrival either (merchants were across the whole EU: Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland...) Overall just wanted to say my thanks for the great service. The only nuance I don't like but at the same time I kinda understand is a complicated payment system. There is a bank transfer and Paypal, and Paypal has quite a big fee here, so it's better to use a bank transfer, which takes a time... please add more options, maybe like Skrill or Revolut.

This is number one Site to buy and sell TCG for me personally.
There are only a tiny amount of bad apples that do scam or try to deceive customers.
If you are aware of this and know how to avoid it you get a great experience.

Have been using Cardmarket for a few years now and it's such an easy to use website with great features and loads of sellers which make buying and selling cards super easy.

Have only had a few issues with orders and sellers but support is always helpful and finds an agreeable solution. Great resource!

I have been using card market for over 10 years now for my hobby and trading for my decks.
In those years only very rarely there was some issue and if there was they always are helpful and normally provide very good service.

My first time using this app, I wait for the money to register on my account and out of nowhere I get it returned. I cannot use a VISA (because that just doesn´t exist as an option for some reason) so I do the bank transfer cuz I also don´t wanna pay more than I have to already. And to top it all off I basically just lost 13 euros for absolutely nothing. Had a much better experience buying off ebay, recommend using something else.

Bought a card worth 399 euros from a German with 14k+ sales and the card was received in LP condition and not NM. I explained my case to support, but it was closed when I said that the card was received and I gave the seller 2/5*. Can't recommend cardmarket in any way at all. Their support is 0/5 * and their German sellers are outright scammers. Now I am left with a card worth 50 euros and not 400:(

Received very amazing support from the cardmarket team. Will certainly keep picking cardmarket over other platforms for purchases as well as selling :)
