Avoid Melrose Jewelers - In My Experience, They Aren't Reputable

I bought a "Rolex" from Melrose. They delivered a watch to me that was inferior to the one they had advertised (in terms of model and age). The watch they sent me did not even match the appraisal that they sent.

When I called them on it, they went silent. I sought to resolve with the help of the BBB - Melrose went quiet on them as well, after providing the cursory "all customers have three days to return, blah, blah". Guess they didn't like it when I pointed out that a self-determined three-day return policy does nothing to limit broader statutory protections available for consumer fraud? Now in LA Superior Court Small Claims.

Do yourself a favor - check out the lawsuit filed by Rolex against Melrose. If you've already bought one from Melrose, go get it appraised independently... If you are looking to buy (whether new or used), I would go elsewhere.

Awesome Place For A Watch

Had a wonderful experience shopping here! I walked in during my hunt for a new watch. I didn't know exactly what i was looking for, but when i walked out I felt like I satisfied a long unfulfilled desire. I am writing this review out of thanks for the staff. I feel like they helped me pick a watch that best suited my preferences, and they really listened and genuinely helped me out. My only possible complaint was a rude driver while parking, but that's life and although it affected my experience, the guy was just a jerk. Overall great experience and would certainly return in the future, not that i buy a Rolex every day.

I absolutely love my newly purchased Rolex watch! I bought it last week from Melrose Jewelers and I haven't stopped wearing it since! I had been looking for one for about four months before I finally found the perfect one on Melrose's website. I read their reviews online and they where all good which I found to be true once I got mine. I payed a very modest price for the watch I got. Recently I was looking for an expesnive watch to give my cousin for his birthday. He is really into Rolex's and has been wanting one for years. I searched high and low on the net to find a decent site to buy through. Unfortunately I could not find a site I was impressed with until I found Melrose Jewlers in my Google search. I ordered a high end watch from this website and was very pleased with the results. I have now owned the watch for over 4 months with no problems. I ordered a "new" Rolex for my boyfriend and was SHOCKED to find that Melrose Jewelers offers FREE next-day shipping. Who does that anymore?! I mean, one would think that if you spend enough money on an item, you would get free shipping, but not all online retailers offer that, let alone free NEXT-DAY shipping! Now my big issue is where to successfully hide it until Christmas! :-)

I was shopping around for a Rolex and A LOT of research brought me to Melrose Jewelery. I checked out their website and I was pleasantly surprised. They pretty much have a huge selection (at least from what I have seen). I saw the high end products and thought that the prices would be crazy high but they weren't. In fact, they were the most reasonable from all of the stores I researched. I placed the order but put in the wrong address by accident.
