Dont try to return any thing they wont give your money back
I have my business account with Misco and I am very happy with the service and price. I moved away from Dabs after realising they charge business customers (Dabs - aka BT Business Direct )more for the same products than retail customers. I asked them why and they said added benefits of being a business customer but couldnt tell me what these benefits were.
Misco stepped in nicely. If they could sort out their account setup procedures though they may have got another £10k out of me.
I have used Misco for years but something has happened to their site recently. I dont mind the look but the categories are all over the place.
I ordered a belt for my printer and phoned after a week to see where it was only to be told it was out of stock for another 14 days ! Their other supplier had one in stock but it cost more so they would not send it, not my problem ! It was listed at a price and said in stock, i dont give a rats ass if you messed it up i just need the flippig thing :(
When you spend £350+ on a new item, there are rarely problems (thankfully!). However I received a dud machine with a faulty mother board, so the PC wouldn't even boot up.
Trying to get any assistance from sales staff at Misco as to what procedures are in place for this sort of problem were disappointing. Staff had a couldn't care less attitiude, not even taking the time to explain what would happen and how I would be refunded etc etc.
Finally arranged for the faulty PC to be collected after several DAYS, and then had to wait an interminably long time of almost 14 days before my credit card was refunded.
From a company known for being a big supplier of technological products, the after sales support is disgraceful and staff seriously need some training and an adjustment in attitude!
i've used Misco quite a bit for various business purchases including laser cartridges and digital cartridges. Always get great service, and our customer rep, Katriona, always looks for the best deals available to us and suggests alternatives.
Bought a pair of headphones from Misco as a Christmas present. As I was going to wrap them up, I tried to remove the shrink wrap that had been wrapped around the headphone package. Then I realised that the amateur shrink wrap was there to hide the fact that the package had been opened before and stuck together with tape. So I was sold second hand goods for a new price!
It's too late to return them now, so I'm stuck with them. But, hey, Misco, you've just lost a customer! Nice one!

Great customer service, good product base. Delivery comes on date given. And a continual update be email to keep you informed of progress. IDEAL SUPPLIER!!!
I ordered a NAS box and was told the next working day that the item was discontinued (despite being listed as in stock on their site). I updated and then cancelled the order that same day.
Over a month later, I then received a letter from their solictor demanding payment!! According to them, the box was delivered to my address, but I haven't seen nor heard of it.
I have now been told that legally I have to pay for it, I now I'm £200 out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
I bought a Samsung laptop which arrived yesterday. It will not connect to the internet. After hours on the phone, being pushed from pillar to post, calls not being returned, it was finally agreed that the laptop was faulty.
Misco then refused to take it without an authorisation from Samsung (which I had and which I gave them) - even though under the Sale of Goods act the product is their responsibility - and put the phone down on me. Customer Services do not know anything about consumer law. I have spent £400 and received nothing. Terrible service with no apology at any stage.
Interesting to see that my experience is similar to that of another reviewer only 3 weeks ago (see "Never again!"). In summary, Misco despatched to the wrong address, their courier tried to deliver there twice, even after I pointed out the mistake both to Misco and the courier, their "customer service 24 hour response" means you might get a reply but don't expect any action, and I've been told I have to order it again "if I require the item". Why would I order it in the first place if I don't require it? And why would I order from Misco again if they are likely to wrongly address it again? Wouldn't it just be simpler to send me a replacement to the right address? Doh!!!!! Never again for me, too.

But after reading these reviews prior to ordering with Misco, I had to comment.
I ordered a motherboard and i7 core processor, all coming to around £1k. I Ordered it on a Thursday at around 4:30pm. The items arrived the following day at 1pm! Furthermore, I opted for the free 3-5 working days delivery!
Its not much to go by, but I was very impressed.

Their website was easy to use and I have recieved quick responses to my questions. The information has been clear and I look forward to receiving my new printer on Tuesday.
The only think I would say is that the product I bought is about £80 dearer than other places but because of my experience with a different company I chose to use Misco which is rated highly.
I bought a supper lcd monitor 22" from this site. A hanns g monitor which i`ve had for around four years and it`s still working as good as the day I bought it. Delivery prompt and good packaging.
I chased up my order only to be told Misco's supplier had no goods end of line no replacement. Waste of time unreliable and unhelpful.I cancelled my order and will probably never order from this company again. Not a company to deal with steer well clear.
DO NOT Order an item for next day delivery and think you'll get it!!
I've order thousands of £'s of stuff from other companies thru Paypal and had delivered to my office but MISCO won't!! You get an email saying you have to provide driver's licence. tv license, council tax bill, or wage slip to validate address which is impossible if it's your company address.
COMPLETE TIME WASTERS!

I ordered the goods at 2pm and they were there by 2pm the next day on a standard delivery. Thanks very much I will DEFINITELY be using Misco again. :o)
My Account manager always on the ball, nothing is too much trouble, I get my quote from him very quick, I send a order throught to him, goods are always delivered the following day, never had anything go wrong, invoices always follow in the post after goods have been delivered.

Their website is okay, although the range of stuff on sale can make searching a bit long winded. Their main page is a real mess.
I've phoned up to get advice and they usually get it right. Have been passed around a bit on occasion, but we normally get there in the end.

I have ordered more than 10 times and always got the goods the next day despite only paying for standard delivery. My only complaint is that my account keeps disapearing and I have to reregister every second order.
Misco are very good at producing catalogues. I have not bought anything yet as I have always managed to find someone locally that can do a cheaper price.
I use Misco as one of my main suppliers to my IT support business, and I have never had a problem with either the helpful staff or the delivery.
The only thing I can say is the website layout could do with some improvement, as the navigation can be a bit tedious.
Price wise, maybe a bit more expensive than eBuyer, but at least I know the stuff will arrive and I get a personal service from my account manager, unlike the rather impersonal and not very helpful service from eBuyer.

I ordered a TFT monitor from Misco. In fact I was directed to the company by a price reference web site but the product I initially wanted was not available. The Misco website suggested an alternative item which appeared o.k. so I ordered and paid a heavy premium for a Saturday morning delivery.
There was no delivery.
Having wasted a great deal of my weekend Misco did manage to refund my payment but have comprehensively failed to acknowledge their poor service or apologise. I shan't waste my time with Misco again.
Have been a customer for years. It can be a little difficult to find what you want on the site (the product sub categorization and search result filtering can be improved significantly) but the service itself has always been top rate. Order processing and delivery is always prompt. I have not had any cause for complaint. Recommended.
Misco made fundamental mistake with processing my card and charged me twice. They were stubborn and not helpful. I was without my money for over 16 days (actually I had no money at all as my account was overdrawn and my salary sunk to cover the unauthorized overdraft).
I advise everyone who does not have spare money to give to them not to use their services.
And also forgot that half of my order had to be refunded anyway because they had no parts in stock even the website said they did have!

Though I have found Misco to be OK in the past, though not as efficient as Amazon, I recently purchased a laptop on Misco that was listed at a certain price and quoted as In Stock.
The day after my order - that's AFTER you are through the checkout process including authorisation against your bank, I was contacted and advised that the offer was no longer available and the price of my product had increased by 25%, if I still wanted it. Misco terms and conditions and fine print allow them to do this even after it appears you are entering into a contract to purchase at the listed price. Regardless of whether this is bordering on false advertising, it's simply terrible customer service and means that you can't trust the accuracy of prices listed when comparing against other companies and websites.
BE WARNED. Though you can cancel the order, if you make a decision to go with Misco over another supplier, and they subsequently refuse to continue with the sale at the price listed, you're back to square one, and you may have missed out on other deals.
Throughout the process I also found the customer service agent condascending and unable to accept that this was terrible for consumer confidence. If (as they claim) this happens infrequently, then is it such a big issue to honour the stated prices in the few cases it does and thus provide a more reliable service?

I have two PoGo printers - black ones, purchased from Misco online in September 2009 for £20 each. The printers work well with Sony Ericsson K800i/K750i mobile phones and modern Canon and Panasonic digital cameras via Bluetooth/USB, as appropriate for each device. PoGo's print quality is very acceptable, though obviously not as good as prints from an inkjet printer. Then again, with PoGo you don't have to worry about replacing cartridges. And PoGo is very portable.
However, the special PoGo ZINK paper is hard to find. It's unlikely you'll see it on the High Street. As I did, you'll probably have to buy online. Also - paper pricing is very variable. Shop around for the best deals. The cheapest price per print I've achieved is around 18p. In addition, the paper is not good at sticking to some hard surfaces. It tends to peel after a while - especially in areas like kitchens and bathrooms where moisture is prevalent or there are extremes of temperature. So, if you're the sort of person who likes putting stickers all over the place (me) you might be disappointed with the 'gripability' of these ones.
Yet, PoGo is generally a cool product. I would have awarded it five stars if the prints stuck better and the paper was more widely available. Hopefully both these situations will resolve. I should further add that, in my view, since it seems that Polaroid will make most profit from paper sales, the price you pay for PoGo itself has to reflect this. Perhaps if you think of POGO/ZINK in the same terms as RAZORS/BLADES & PRINTERS/CARTRIDGES you'll be a contented customer. Otherwise... Recommended!
Misco appear to be a very reliable company indeed.Have bought a few items from them in the past.All of which were good value and promptly delivered.Can't fault the service at all really.Highly recommend them
Misco is a good site. Every order I have placed was fulfilled to my expectations. I can't criticize their customer service or delivery, both of which have been excellent.
My only criticisms are that their stock selection doesn't appear to be as big as some of their competitors and their prices aren't often as competitive.
