Order placed Nov 3, tried repeatedly to get in touch with them since then. NNo shipment, no call back, but they certainly charged my credit card immediately! I finally placed a disputed claim with my CC company. Save yourself a headache. I have learned I am not the only one by far...
The absolute worst group of companies(about 5)EVER to hit the internet. 75 days and I'm STILL waiting. It's obvious their policy is not to give a shit. No response to my customer service(gag)requests or emails. I've spent hours googling these bozos. CEO is Whitney Anderson, former VP at Bank of America. Nobody is allowed to speak to ANY human being. Refunds are few, and you're lucky within a year to receive one. Out of stock items could easily be substituted with another brand, but the head bean counter won't allow it! Morons at minimum wage run shipping. Expert scumbags at this Madoff ponzi scheme. Probably going out of business any day, like they did back in 2001. They are stealing people blind and must be loving it! You buy, you'll cry! Don't take a chance! Not worth the aggravation or high blood pressure.
Mothernature.com ought to be avoided at ALL costs. Though the website looks nice, and the checkout process is relatively easy, this business intends to leave you, the customer, in the dark, waiting for your order to arrive, even though your credit card has been charged.
I ordered two items that were apparently "in stock". I paid over $9.00 for standard shipping. 10 days from my order date, nothing has been shipped. The status of my order states "warehouse processing". To inquire about my order, I have to complete an online form that goes unanswered. It is impossible to speak to mothernature.com on the phone. The 800 number brings you to only two places: submitting an order over-the-phone OR an automated message telling you to seek assistance online. This is NOT a coincidence. They want you in the dark; they do not care about you.
Simply put, mothernature.com does not honor their customers. In fact, they have no intention of delivering you merchandise you have PAID for. This is a business that deserves to be shut down. Here's why: 1. They ignore their customers. 2. Their website is full of lies. Items appear to be "in stock", though are not ready to be shipped to any person who pays for them. This is deceitful. 3. They offer different shipping options which cost different amounts, but you cannot expect your order to arrive in the time you paid for. Mothernature.com will not account for this; they SHOULD refund you for shipping costs if it's not shipped by the promised date. However, this is a greedy business, so they do not value you or your money. 4. They do not regard consumers' FTC rights.
People who prefer honorable businesses should steer clear of mothernature.com. You cannot, under any circumstances, shop with confidence here.
I got all my products that I ordered. And they shipped the items pretty fast. That is the one of the biggest things I care about. Hate waiting for a long time. They packaged the stuff pretty good. I told my friends about this site.
I am currently experiencing the same frustration as most of the other recent MotherNature.com reviewers. My order was placed Nov 30 2010 and the items were all in stock, and I received an email confirmation that day. 9 days later I review my order since it should be here or on it's way, to find out there is a delay based on item(s) not in stock, expected ship date 12/11. I never received any email update on this "back order problem".
There is no way to contact a body for answers or to cancel my order. Today, after I searched for reviews for this company and discovered this deceitful practice to be common in doing business with MotherNature.com, I emailed my order cancellation, and I'm starting a dispute with my credit card company to refund my money.

I will never do business with this company again, and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone else. First, my shipment was delayed twice, and when I finally received the packaged it didn't even contain all of the items I had ordered and paid for! The list they included with my package indicates that all items were shipped, but that is incorrect. I submitted a request for a refund for the item that I never received. It has now been two weeks and still no refund, nor any further correspondence from them. I may have to chalk this one up to lesson learned and kiss my money goodbye. I despise companies like this! I don't have money to be throwing away. I can only hope their poor business practices and even worse customer service eventually puts them out of business.
AFTER SEVERAL EMAILS AND FORGET CALLING (THERE'S NO ONE TO ANSWER YOUR CALL) I GAVE UP AND CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. THEY CHARGED MY CC BEFORE SHIPMENT AND WHEN I HAD TO MAKE A RETURN FOR DAMAGED ITEMS IS WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE FUNDS. MAYBE THEY DON'T PLAN ON STAYING IN BUSINESS, THEIR ACTIONS SURE SEEM LIKE THEY COULD CARE LESS. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
