Perfect just as described quick and efficient people to deal with.

I've used MPB a few times, most recently to buy a lens. I owned the lens for a matter of months, used it three times, couldn't get a good result out of it any time. I decided the fault was probably the way I was using it rather than the lens so I did not make a claim under warranty [it was a big lens and any wind seemed to upset it when tripod mounted. It seemed to work better hand-held with IBIS on - but hand held is not my use-case]. Rather than sell on eBay and take the risk that the next buyer suffered the same problems as I had, I decided to sell back to MPB.

A lens I bought in alleged "excellent" condition. I sold back to them as "good" as I noticed some scratches when I examined the finish in detail.

The valuation they have provided to me for their excellent and my good condition lens has been further downgraded because they've found "permanent marks" on the internal optics along with "multiple marks on the front element". During my period of ownership it had a UV filter fitted so those marks must have existed when they sold it to me in alleged "excellent" condition.

My prior experiences with MPB, which involved a "mint" Pen F weren't great either. One had a cracked hinge on the rear screen; it was replaced, and the second, which I still have, overheats in hot weather.

I now find myself wondering if part of MPB's business model involves over describing condition and undervaluing purchases? Whether it does or not, I won't be giving them the benefit of the doubt again.

It would be interesting to see how they'd list it this time round but I think I'll have the lens back and give it to a charity shop, rather than allow them to profit a second time round.

MPB shipped the camera with a very serious problem that was a show stopper for me. It was obvious that it wasn’t fully tested before getting put on the catalog. I wasn’t refunded the full amount for some reason. MPB didn’t have a suitable replacement so I had to shop elsewhere and got a much better deal.

My experience was very good. I had this camera that I wasn't using and MPB gave me a good quote. It was easy, and fast!

I have just sold some camera equipment and the whole process was faultless. From the initial offer and arrangement for sending the equipment there were timely communications. Then confirmation of safe receipt was swiftly followed by examination of the equipment before a final offer. The money was promptly deposited in my bank account. The whole process took a week.
