Efficient service, all irems were dispatched and money was in account in 2 weeks
very easy to navigate website, select items, collection service reliable and quick. Payment came through very promptly as well. Would use the service again and recommend to anyone wanting to shift their old CD's.
wont use again
This is very easy to use. Are you fed up of eBay and Amazon fees and pay pal fees. I am.
if you use this service you will get none of that and free postage to.
very easy services to use . And you get your money in next to no time. You get email updates on how your order is doing ,and when you be getting you payment. For me this is a lot better to use. And you don't have to worry about a thing.I got loads more items to get rid of and I will be using this service for it.
Great, user friendly website. Good courier service and no hitches with the payment. Liked the email status updates for the consignment especially as the time from courier collection to payment confirmation was a bit longer that had anticipated. Overall, an excellent service that we would, and have, recommended.
Great way to sell your unwanted clothes and get money for them! It was a bit complicated filling out all the information but it was worth it, got enough to treat myself to a new top!!
Easy Peasy, Didn't except all the games I tried to scan in but gave me a fair price for the ones it did. It worked out at about 2/3 of the price I could of got if I had Ebayed them but with 90% less Hassle,
Packing instructions were clear and I lived near plenty of drop off points.
The money took a little while to come through with the whole process taking less than a fortnight.
If I had a load more games I din't want, I would do this agan.
Just so easy to use, great website and was paid into my bank account very quickly. Will always use MusicMagpie to sell my Games, CDs and DVDs.
I found my first selling experience with magpie very easy indeed and well instructed, no problems what so ever , they constantly kept in touch by e-mail during my transaction , very pleased and would use again. gail
This was easy. Enter the barcode. Print the instructions and lables. Put in the boxes. Await the courier. Get the full valuation as payment. Job Done. Did it again was so impressed.
User friendly website and step by step process, plus excellent delivery and prompt payment, make this company the way to go to turn those unwanted CD's into cash.

I have never used Magpie before when thinking of selling my CD, DVD etc but they are good value for money and prompted at putting the money into your bank account. You are kept updated on the tracking of your goods, but I would like to say more options on where you can take your parcel would be good for someone like me who do not drive. Other than that will use again
A great easy way to sell a lot of games, dvds or music at once. I also think I got a fair price for the items considering I got rid of everything immediately and didn't need to bother with individual items and posting things out.
Great service to be able to sell unwanted CDs. Wish the whole process was slightly quicker, but have been very happy with the service and updates throughout the process.
What a great service. Everything worked so well, from logging the items to packaging, collection and payment. So quick and easy. Thank you for such a great service.
It was so easy to do and got rid of a load of old clutter
It was simple to complete the order and was kept up to date throughout the transaction.
I have used Music Magpie on various occasions for selling unwanted DVD's and CD's and, whilst they don't pay very much and are painfully slow in paying, it is a very easy service to use. Much easier than trying to sell on Ebay, for example.
I used the service again recently for a large collection of CD's but decided to also sell them my unwanted iPhone 3gS for which they offered just over £44. This seemed fair enough to me and I knew the phone met their "good" standard as per their terms and conditions. However, I was told the the phone had suffered "liquid damage" - absolute nonsense, the phone was hardly used and was certainly never near water to have suffered any damage. I emailed to query this and got a reply to which I replied asking for, perhaps, an independent assessment of the condition of the phone. I certainly wasn't going to pay £15 to get it back, which is what they were asking! I have never received a response to this email. A second email was sent a few days ago and I've not received a response to this either.
This is very poor service - and they still have my phone...
really easy to use and fast process from start to finish. Would use musicmagpie again but have nothing left lol. Defo worth a rumage to earn extra cash and free up a bit of space
It was very straightforward checking values and adding items to the trade-in basket. I also appreciated the facility to drop my finalised parcel off at a local collection point, though I'm not convinced it was collected for three days, based on email communication! I noticed all my items had been accepted an exact week after my dispatch, but on the down side, another 9 days passed before the money reached me. On the whole, a good enough method of getting rid of unwanted DVDs.
Music Magpie is easy to use, just type or scan in your items, like CD's and DVD's,
accept their offer of the item(s), place in a box, print off an address label and take the package to the nearest pick up point, which is available to you, then the rest is done for you. Within 2-3 weeks the money is in your bank account.
But if you don't like the price offer they give you, then just remove the item, it's that easy.
The whole process is so easy to use, quick and very efficient. You get email updates every step of the way and choising your own pick up date and time is so convenient.
Only quibble is prices paid out for CD's are incredibly small and hardly made all the albums I sold worthwhile
You cant go wrong! The site guides you through every step and it doesn't cost you a penny.
Wasnt impressed with the service qwick to get my stuff but took for ever to get my payment. 3 weeks till i recieved it Wont be useing the service again am afraid !
Cant believe how simple it was to do .So easy to upload items offer price was seen immediately. Once accepted and items sent I received payment within 2 weeks..Brilliant!! ..First time certainly wont be my last.
Good service although my scanning camera for bar codes did not work and the alternative typeout of code numbers was slow due to buffering.
Thought some of rejected dvds (e.g. BBC series) was somewhat suprising, but I suspect that must relate to overall market. Would be nice if pick up time could be cut down to half a day rather than having to wait in most of day for courier.
Stay clear of this firm, they take far to long to pay, approx 3 weeks and when you send them perfect items they refuse them and deduct the cost without informing you, customer services are shocking and now going to try and get watchdog involved. If any one else as had problems please contact me and if i get enough complaints i will contact watchdog directly. Im sure this will be removed but they cannot remove a website :)

This process was so easy right from when I entered my first bar code to the last. The parcel was collected on time and I was kept informed of every step along the way. It was great to see the money appear in my bank account too with no hassle.
I would definitely recommend this process for selling your items, it's so quick and convenient.
Probably could have got more for my DVDs by selling through ebay\amazon etc. but it is an easy service to use although it did take a couple of weeks to get the money in my account.
Was recommended by a friend, and the service is easy to use and a brilliant way of getting rid of old clothes! The free postage at the drop of points is fantastic! I have already suggested using this service to my friends and family!
I really liked being able to scan the CDs from my phone, the guidance was very clear and whilst many CDs appear to go for very little cash, it can all add up to a reasonable amount for an unused collection, with minimum effort. Also liked the range of options for collection or sending them.
Sorted all my CDs ad games and scanned them on giving me an instant price. Collection was a few days late but that was ok. Money was transferred into my bank account real quick.
The process is easy enough to follow; you can see how much you should get for your discs and you don't need to worry about postage. It takes a little while for them to check off your discs and for you to receive the cheque but i've sent five box-fulls so far and am mostly satisfied with all.
This is a complete rip off!
They're customer service is shocking. They say the process is usually completed in 7 days. Well it's over 2 weeks since my items were sent away & they still arent even processing the cheque yet. My brothers items went on the same day & he is also still waiting. The website is terrible quality of pictures and it is impossible to tell what 'model' straighteners are, so if you put the wrong one. They don't offer advice on it, they don't pay you & don't even have the courtesy to offer the return of your items? Even at a cost. It really is a shocking service & they offer very poor money for items. I will NEVER use them again & have advised others to go to other companies. It is a total scam & I seriously regret using them at all. Wonder when I will actually get my cheque processed hmm. Certainly has been more than 7 days. & they don't have the decency to email back.
Sent in various video games, DVDs and an unused Wii. Generally speaking, the service was good. The price offered was fair (to be honest, getting 50p for something you're never going to use again is hardly bad) though CEX were much better on many others (I sent items to them as well). Being able to send your items by free courier is handy too.
The bad part came when I was told my highest value item (Mario Kart Wii) was rejected for "damaged artwork". I don't remember there being any damage to the artwork at all. I wouldn't strictly have a problem with this if Music Magpie would send your rejected items back or even if they sent pictures explaining this supposed "damaged artwork". Alas, they don't and I wouldn't be at all surprise if Music Magpie haven't already sold it on while I'm left missing out on over £10.
I'd recommend getting your items valued by Music Magpie, like I said, in general their prices are fair and the service reasonably good. However, if you have any items over £5 and CEX offer a similar price, I'd recommend sending it to them instead. At least if they reject it, they send it back to you.

I recently thought I`ll get rid of my only 4 wii games. So I sent them off to Music Magpie, I got a email 2 days later (15/4/13) from Elliot @ their customer services saying one disc was "wrong" (I knew 100% it wasnt, they was only 4 games I had), they wouldn`t send the "wrong" game back when I asked (bit dodgy) so I was left with less money than offered, and nothing I could do. Then after another 3 days and 7 emails, I got a email saying "your items have been received on 17/4/13" when I had an email 2 days previous saying they had received the wrong disc!!! When asked to explain why they was bluntly lying to me, guess what NO RESPONSE AGAIN.
Never again will I use this company, and beg others not to. Its a shame that a company in this day in age does its up most to rip people off. From lying to when the received the items to prolong paying out, to actually lying about the goods they receive so not to pay the full amount out. Disgraceful.
WHY DO TRUST PILOT KEEP REMOVING MY REVIEW BECAUSE MUSIC MAGPIE STATE "NO PROOF OF DELIVERY" I HAVE PROOF OF EVERYTHING I WROTE. I HAVE WRITTEN PROOF FROM MUSIC MAGPIE.
