I paid for a full access, internationally, and newspapers too. When I do a search for a newspaper, I am locked out unless I use a special PW. Also, when I fill out a form and the results are not av... See more

This site always has fun and useful information for me to add to my tree. I have found more family connections using it than others I have tried.
It is very interesting knows your ancestry roots ..

The presenter had a very comfortable presentation style and was very relatable. She was very well informed and knowledgeable.
Great speaker! I was able to understand clearly how to gather information from a document. She was clear and precise. Would love to dig deeper into Latin American history and records.
On 15 September 2026 Ancestry charged me $99.95 to auto-renew a quarterly membership. I cancelled the same day, within hours of the charge, and have not used the service during the renewal term. Ancestry refused any refund, by chat and by phone, stating only that the charge is covered by their terms. Their renewal notice was sent a month earlier and arrived among a stream of promotional emails from the same sender, so I did not identify it. Their terms also require cancellation two days before the renewal date, which means there is no window at all to act once a charge appears. I am asking for a full refund of $99.95.
I enjoying tracking back as far as I can. Fun to find out the occupations of my relatives.
I appreciate that DNA testing and inclusion on your trees can help to find elusive family connections! Keep it up!

Plenty of information about family members. Some information I was not aware of a nice surprise!
Seeing the family tree helps remember stories I have heard from relatives.

Learning about how very successful my relatives were all over the world. I’m an Anglophile at heart & to learn I come from England, Wales, Scotland, Germany, Hungary etc. is beyond my realm. I have experienced many new technologies with Jets & Helicopters but, Ancestry in my opinion, is better & moreover it’s fun. Well done Ancestry!

Why am I paying 150$ cad for a test but can even see half of my results? This is just a scam if I’m paying the price I should be able to see everything. Don’t lose your money on this because you won’t even be able to see any of your info.

I've been a user for several years, but recently I'm finding odd things added to my tree. For instance, my father appears twice while I only created one profile years ago. The second one is just his name, no dates. I've checked activity and there's no record to support the changes. I even recently locked down my tree to private after this happened to another ancestor's profile. and that hasn't made a difference. I'll continue to use for searches, but not to build my tree. Very disappointed.

You are absolute scammers. You put up endless obstacles to make it nearly impossible to cancel, and then you keep charging people month after month. The only way I was able to stop the charges was by placing a stop payment through my bank. THIS IS A SCAM GUYS

Delivery and everything was super fast. Got into trouble with shipping back the sample from Georgia and the sample got lost. Support specialists' help was top notch. Already waiting for the replacement. Cheers!

I had forgotten to cancel my free trail and wanted a refund. This was arranged by Peter who was very understanding and helpful.

Ancestry has been an incredible resource for exploring my family tree. I look forward to logging in every evening to see if new hints have popped up or if other researchers have reached out. Even though the pricing is on the higher side, the depth of information and community collaboration make it worth it for me.
