i'm a model and i was scammed

HI I know a lot of guys complain about models screwing them over. Yet you have to realize that this is a job for most of us. My name is MsNightmerica and i was scammed by bloodybizzar for over 90 dollars worth of service. I offered services in exchange for gifts on my amazon wish list. Yet after it was done the guy canceled his gifts to me so i not only wasted my time but was also bullied by this guy. I'm a nice girl and i keep my word on things. I only ask that customers do what they say they will.

Platinum Member Banned

I dropped a lot of change at this site and got banned for disputing a charge. The funny thing is MFC support sent me an email saying they would credit my account.. When the credit never appeared I reversed the charge. Result Permanent Ban. Thank you MFC you will never get any more of my money. Buyer beware.

Great site for most

First off, I have been a member there since 09. I have no affiliation with the site other than that. I have had 1 or 2 issues and they have been handled in a reasonable time frame... Much better and faster than 2 other cam sites I have used. As for MFC closing accounts and not paying models, well dumbass, read the rules and follow them. It clearly states if you're account is terminated for breaking rules, ['man on cam' is a big one], you will forfeit any and all tokens in your account. I will say the promotion of the site as 'free' has indeed brought down the quality that it used to have. So many basement dwelling freetard beggars populate the site now that its sometimes difficult for girls to make any goals or countdowns for shows. Many long time members are frustrated with this as well and hence, hold back on their own tips when the room is full and only a handful of regs are contributing. Unless there are some new sites I haven't seen yet, MFC still has the BEST PAYOUT RATE for the girls. They are also helpful when a girl is trying to get her recorded shows removed from websites posted there without permission.
When foreign cam studios are involved, many times the issues that arise are the studios themselves and nothing to do with MFC. I have known several girls in the EU that have simply not been paid by the studio owners when the studio itself was paid in full and on schedule by mfc. One owner in particular closed the doors of the physical location, took the money and ran leaving his girls broke and without a place to work. Once again, not MFC but a crooked thief studio owner.
If you have ANY credit card problems when purchasing.... once again its not MFC behind it. Its the CC billing companies that you buy through. They flag and deny purchase, not MFC. MFC gets the green light from them after transaction has gone through and then releases the tokens to your member account.
All in all, MFC is a good site. It could use some improvement to benefit the workers as well as members sure, but what business doesn't?

Site going downhill

Used to be a good site but now has an influx of new models who are out simply to scam the guys, i.e. take your money then ban you... so many models now who sit banning all the premiums who don't tip within a few seconds... pointless, its just full of beggars. LiveJasmin seems to better option, cheaper and not full of beggars who ban everyone.

Total Joke of a site and Horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE

They charged my credit card over 20 times, then all of a sudden wouldnt let me buy tokens anymore, They told me I could no longer buy tokens, because they couldnt *verify* my account* I uploaded ALL the paperworked required for this, STILL they wouldnt verify my account. LOL. They told me to USE only MY credit card, WHICH I DID! After they let me buy tokens 3 more times, FROZE MY ACCOUNT AFTER EACH PURCHASE! Then after spending over 500 dollars, they make it so I can no longer buy tokens again PERIOD! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU LIKE LOSING YOUR MONEY!

Best adult cam site you will find!

I only usually leave reviews when I have a negative experience with a site (like most people) but after reading some of the nonsensical negative reviews here, I will break that habit.

To cover some of the points made in some of the other reviews;

- Accounts are free and do what they say they do, you can chat with models as a free user, it just depends on the chat restrictions set by each individual model. Premium features are naturally reserved for paying customers.

- I don't know the exact amount but the 50% figure is probably about right for how much models make per token earnt through tips or private shows. Think that's bad? factor into the equation the cost that the website bares when serving thousands of cam streams to thousands of users, many of whom are guests or regular members, where does the bandwidth come from for that? how about when a model earns very little through lack of performance, do they pay back the cost of the bandwidth? I would estimate there is a profit in there for the administrators but not as much as you might think.

- As for tipping models for "off the site" perks, MFC makes it quite clear that all tips are just that; tips. Any agreement you have with the model in exchange for a tip is between you and the model, no moderation or mediation is offered for this, also made clear on the site. If you got taken for a few tokens, rate the model down and move on.. welcome to the real world. I have never personally experienced this but then I just give tips as a token of my appreciation to the model.

- I have never personally encountered a poor juddery connection over the past 3 years of using this service but then I guess this is subjective to the models connection, server location and its upstream providers to your ISP.

- Track your IP address, you bet. Find me a subscription website that doesn't do this. What other way would you suggest to trace and block fraudsters and spammers? If you're a legitimate paying rule abiding customer, what do you have to worry about? If you are worried about this, you should delete your facebook, hotmail/gmail account and sign off from the internet.

- The website does indeed archive every conversation, not really a secret considering there's a link which allows you to view your past conversations with models... without storing the information, how else would one make this possible? You could always click the "Clear Chat Logs" link, though that could be some sort of underhand trick or trap so best be careful /s


Nonsensical codswallop quashed, now onto my experience with MFC;

I've been a member of MFC since 2008 and still a happy paying customer today. I am also a member of other adult cam sites, but this website is frankly a hundred times better than the others. I prefer this website because it is much richer in features for paying customers than the others, with most other cam sites you are lucky to get a basic "java" chatroom and the option to take a model private. MFC offers a non-laggy free chatroom, private, voyageur and group shows. I could go on but I will sign off by leaving a pro/con list and let you decide for yourself.

Pros:
- Free to use for all users.
- Private archives (great way to view your private sessions again, and again..)
- Thousands of very beautiful models, there really is someone for everyone.
- Non laggy (ajax?) chatroom.
- Stable website and connection to cams.
- Variety of different ways to spend your tokens (privates, voyageur, group and tipping).
- A ton of other misc stuff I won't go onto list but it certainly is the most feature rich cam site.

Cons:
- Ancient green layout. It may have looked nice during web 1.0 era but this is 2012 and time for a change.
- Plenty of ways to filter models but no way to filter by age... somewhat of an oversight.
- No possible way to change the email address associated with your account (other than by contacting support).
- Support is mediocre and very meh from my experience, and being a "platinum premium" member, I should in theory receive the highest priority level of support. Having contacted support on about 4 occasions, I only received replies on 2 of those. It has nearly always been a technical or billing issue that I have contacted them about and not something covered by the wiki documentation. For any other website, I would have stopped visiting it if this had happened, so it's a testament to how good this site is that I have chosen to overlook these occasions.

Worst cam site

this site is a joke. It promises free account, but in fact you can do nothing with a free account. You cannot chat in chat rooms, send private messages, MFC mails or anything.

This site is simply built to take as much money as possible from you.
The girls are paid just under 50% of what is tipped!!!! that means whenever you tip 1 dollars (10 tokens) the owners take 50 cent. Think about that before you tip again.

the site allows models to offer skype shows, and then when the models take the money, mfc says well you tip for skype shows at your own risk. legal scamming is all this site it. the worse customer service on the internet

Con website

They will make you purchase tokens for full use of their website. When they are all gone they close your Acct with no reason. They"ve done this to me twice already. They claim i was spamming. I was simply using the pictures THEY provide. Don't waste your money on these diseased whores, and con artists.

Very Bad support! Girls will take your money and Ban you for no reason

I am a premium Member and i have to say i have met some great girls on here but there are many that will take your money then ban you so please be careful! If you have a complaint to make no one cares so because of this i am cancelling my account! I am very discouraged in this site. I have never seen such bad service in my life. I have spend lots of money with MFC and am getting sick of the way they treat there" premium" memebers!!!!

girls to stay away from "teenpornqueen" she told me she had some videos for me, i tipped then she took my money and banned me.

Cheat, scam, awful service, keep away from this site

The models on this site do what they want with tips. Even if you agree on some action for a rather larger tip, they dont always do what you ask.

The MFC service is horrible, read the little support they have, they more or less tell you not to contact them, and if you dare to do it, they don't intent to help or answer in any way.

This is a money scam, all about the money, makes me sick!

Great selection of girls, poor service.

Having been an mfc user for a couple years now, I can say that the site has tremendous potential, but weak execution.

First and foremost, the cams themselves. The biggest problem is in the framerate. Cams commonly stutter and run like a slideshow rather than a live feed in most cases, where the exact same cam will run fluidly on other sites like LJ, and in HD too. For $6/minute on private shows, you deserve better. MFC is *long* overdue for a server overhaul.

The way MFC by default sorts models by camscore typically locks out new girls from succeeding. To sort by date or otherwise requires action on the part of the users, which is generally a rare occurrence. With the number of models on the site now, new girls almost always appear at the bottom of the page, if not on Page 2. If a new model doesn't score big on tips their first night, they quickly get shuffled to the bottom of the pile.

Total Scam of Models and customers

They demand that models not seek outside approval of their contracts. The My Free Cams model contract contains many unfair terms. Several complaints from former customers and models who have worked for and been customers of the site. Favorable Reviews on this website provided by paid models and reviewers with little to know actual or factual information about my free cams.

These people track your IP address and try to steal information from your computer.They are tied in with hackers.They say it is free but they are trying to get info from you.

Excellent site

The only site I joined. The best feature is the chat archives. I met a model who scammed and then humiliated me. The scam ended in advance payment fraud. I reported it to the authorities. Although individual cases are not investigated the information is used. The collection of data is the first and most important step to combat cyber crime. Mfc remains impartial as it should. Innocent until proven guilty for all, even webcam models.

Myfreecams is dangerous to both users and models.

myfreecams has blackmailed one of my female models and admits to getting other studios raided when the owner of myfreecams does not get what he wants from the models. When my models told him no to meeting the owner (Leo R.) he then deleted her account and confiscated over $500.00 USD in earnings. The site is KNOWN to archive EVERY WORD spoken by both the customers and the models. The site also practices IP address tracking and their tracking cookies contain a bunch of unseen data that could only potentially mean trouble.
