I absolutely agree with all the other complaints. I have been waiting a long time on light fittings thinking this was a UK company. It isn’t. The order is coming direct from China. Hope the quality is ok as the lights weren’t cheap. Do not use.
A scam
A scam. NOT UK based. Delivery takes ages and no idea how a return/refund will work.
Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I spent over £450 on a light and, honestly it looks cheap and nasty and they make it impossible to return. You are better off putting £450 down the drain.
Poor quality item which I asked to…
Poor quality item which I asked to return. They asked me to pay return shipping and a 10% ‘restocking fee’. They describe themselves as a UK online store but items are shipped from China.
Awful ..
Awful ... Looks like a UK company, but shipped directly from China, took forever to arrive and when it did it is in multiple components with loads of wires etc and no assembly instructions. Not sure if it is safe to use, got an electrician booked.

Avoid this company and it's many incarnations (check companies house when you see the same product under a different name). Products are low quality, from China and don't match pictures. Customer service is very poor and I had to threat legal.action just for them to process the refund. Not worth the risk
Terrible company item never arrived
Terrible company item never arrived. Countless emails sent asking for refund not one answered. Do not order from this company it’s a scam.
Item ordered was a parasol
Customer service appalling
Light description on website was inaccurate and as a result light was unfit for purpose. I decide to send back the light. I had to negotiate for more than a week by email with the customer service to be able to get a refund and send the light back. The customer service keeps making reference to text that is not visible in the website and making it sound like they are making a grand gesture..I had to threaten to escalate and quote UK legal text to get anywhere.... Definitely do not recommend.
Excellent
Was wary having read the poor reviews but am delighted to report my light arrived on time and very well packaged.
Perfect light.

I don't usually write reviews however wanted to just say that the customer experience that I received from Neutralighting was brilliant. I ordered 2x wall lights however changed my mind soon after ordering. I contacted their customer service email address asking to cancel my refund which they did and refunded me in full within the time frame given. The communication throughout was great. Although I didn't purchase anything from this company in the end, the experience that I had with them was very positive.
Avoid this fake company
Avoid this fake company. If you think this is a UK company, you’re wrong. Their products are shipped from China, if they even ship at all. My tracking has shown “in transit” for 12 days now, and they keep saying they can’t cancel the order because it’s already in transit. Absolutely ridiculous.
I bought from them thinking it was a UK based company so delivery would be quick, but I’m still waiting.
What’s even worse is that I found the exact same item on Amazon for a quarter of the price with next-day delivery.
My mind is blown
Misleading product description and no possibility to get refund
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.
The lights I received were very poor quality - cheaply made, damaged and not remotely worth the price charged.
When I raised this issue, explaining that the product was damaged, the company refused to take responsibility. They declined to provide a return label. Instead, they offered a 20% discount code for future purchases, which is not an appropriate resolution when the original product is unsuitable.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
Hong Kong based company ..NOT UK based.
Hong Kong based company ..Not UK based.
Lamps ordered took a month longer than quoted to arrive, they were representative of their website listing but in reality the colour was off, they were cheap in appearance and not of the quality expected for the price. Communicative correspondence in sorting, BUT be aware that returns for change of mind carry a 10% handling fee and the cost of return to Hong Kong at the buyers expense.
Waste of time and money
You see 'Neutralighting UK' and assume UK base but it comes from HongKong, very misleading. The prices are extremely high considering it is only plastic rubbish. It takes many weeks to receive and no return option. If you lucky enough to get a response from a customer rep then thry have no name and you end up paying gor the return too. Complete waste of time and money, very dissapointed with the whole transaction.
Awful - no response and no product after 23 days of shipping
Awful. 23 days since shipping and I've still not received my order which was over £200! Their email confirmation says if you encounter a problem with your order, cancel within 24hrs for a refund - that doesn't make sense! I still haven't received my order so I should be entitled to a refund, yet despite days of emails I've received no response. Avoid at all costs.
SCAM - Misleading and low quality. Will take months to get, arrive damaged, and false advertising
Misleading, low‑quality products – identical items available on reputable sites
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. The lights I ordered were extremely poor quality – everything feels cheaply made and nowhere near worth the price.
The products were also **misrepresented**. On the product page and in the technical documents, the lights are simply described as “dimmable”. There is no clear indication there that they are *only* dimmable via a remote control and cannot be used with a standard hard‑wired dimmer switch. The only mention of this crucial limitation is buried in a vague “lamp knowledge” section, which no reasonable customer would think to scour for product‑specific technical information.
When I raised this and explained that the lights are not fit for the purpose implied by the description “dimmable”, the company refused to accept any responsibility, hid behind a 30‑day return window, and claimed there was no false advertising. Instead of offering a proper solution, they offered a discount code for future purchases — which completely misses the point when the existing lights are unusable for their intended purpose.
Shipping was also dreadful. The website suggests delivery in a couple of weeks, yet I ended up waiting closer to two months with repeated delays and poor communication.
To make matters worse, I later discovered that the exact same lights are being sold on at least three other, far more reputable websites, at similar prices but with honest descriptions and much better reputations. In other words, this site is essentially a low‑quality middleman reselling generic lights, while providing misleading information and substandard service.
In my opinion this is a fraudulent, scam‑like operation and one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had. I will never buy from them again and strongly advise others to avoid this website at all costs and purchase the same products from reputable retailers instead.
Beware of this company!
My chandelier that I paid £300 for, arrived in a damaged box with polystyrene falling out. Inside was like Meccano, when I contacted them they advised I needed to assemble and wire myself!
After several back and forth emails with no resolution, I asked my bank to do a charge back, I received a full refund.
If you get no satisfaction and feel like you’re going in circles, call the bank they will sort for you, good luck to everyone else tying desperately to get their money back!
Scandalous
Scandalous.
I can unfortunately confirm the reviews I had read earlier — too late, alas.
I placed an order on this website, which presents itself as high-end and seems, at first glance, entirely trustworthy. Total amount of the order: over €1,100. The result is simply unacceptable.
First, the item I received is not the correct one. Second, the chandelier delivered arrived damaged. For a site claiming to offer premium service, such negligence is utterly unacceptable.
Even worse: a quick reverse image search on Google revealed the exact same items listed on AliExpress for half the price. It is deeply disappointing to see such a gap between the brand’s image and the actual quality of its products.
I am usually extremely cautious and thorough when shopping online, but I must admit I was misled by the website’s polished appearance. Upon further investigation, I also found that these same products are being sold on many other websites with almost identical designs, which only reinforces my mistrust in hindsight.
I now expect a prompt and serious response from customer service to correct the item reference and address the issue of the damaged product. That is, at the very least, the minimum one should expect in such a situation
I change my review score as the vendor reimbursed me for the damaged items.

The expensive lights I ordered were cheap rubbish not fit for purpose.
On asking for return details I was given the offer of discount to keep the items. I was then given a residential address.
This company is a scam!
Avoid this company like the plague
Avoid this company like the plague!
Ordered lights on 1st Jan and despite the UK look and feel of the website, they come from China. Well, 'come' is a strong word as mine have never arrived. Tracking clearly shows an issue with their courier (if you believe the sincerity of the business) and despite several requests to provide a refund, they continue to say no - asking me to claim insurance that they hid within their order process. This is a complete scam of a company and I have reported them to the authorities accordingly.
