Lots and lots of waiting around. So slow.
I’ve visited twice now and both times they were running over an hour behind. No one comes to tell you what’s going on or give you an update, it’s just a lot of waiting around. The TV’s are never on, there’s no WiFi and very little phone signal. The water machine has no cups and the coffee machine was out of order.
The surgery itself was great as were the medical staff during the procedures but the waiting around was awful, everyone was complaining about it. I will be going elsewhere next time if needed.

Great experience with Laila and Layla in Milton Keynes. Talked through the procedures very well, the service was great. They also offer complimentary snacks when waiting. I would have consultations 100 times over with them again!

I had my 2 yearly check at the St Enoch…
I had my 2 yearly check at the St Enoch branch of Optical Express. Kitty did the initial checks, Amina was the optician and Yvonne helped me with frames. The service from all three of them was very welcoming and efficient. The advice about lens protection etc was helpful and relevant without being pushy. There is a wide choice of frames with brands and a good selection of cheaper options. It was a very good experience and I would recommend it.

I went to the st enoch center branch and had the lovliest experience with Ameenah, Kitti and Alisha! They were all so patient and friendly and helped me decide and advised me on what would best suit me. I definitely recommend visiting them :)

Excellent service
Excellent service. I was able to get an initial consult sorted at a time convenient for me in Leicester. Staff were all so friendly here and happy to answer all of my questions and reassure me. I was able to get an appointment within 2 months on a day that suited me in Birmingham. On the day the surgeon team were super helpful and reassuring. I was able to wait comfortably and be updated every step of the way. The follow up visits and check ups were fantastic and any questions or concerns I had were addressed. Overall would recommend for anyone wanting to be free from contacts and glasses!

Eye surgery consult
Went to Opticial express Dudley for a eye surgery consult. The staff were great from start to finish.
Amy walked me through what tests would be done and how the consultant would work, showing great knowledge but more importantly showing genuine interest in what I wanted from the consult.
Terline ran through my results and explain the best course should I want to continue.
I was made to feel welcome and not treated like just another customer.
