THE NIGHTMARE OF BEING AN OTE CUSTOMER

This accursed company is still a nightmare, despite its takeover by Deutsche Telekom. No telephone, no internet, no satellite TV since early evening on Xmas Day. In fact the whole Connex package is useless but I am still paying for it.

After fourteen telephone calls on my mobile, nothing has happened. Stupid excuses and downright lies from OTE employees become a daily occurrence. After immediately admitting there were faults on my line the excuses started. Excuse No 1. - faults were due to the cold weather - cold? it was +9C. The next day OTE admitted that was nonsense. Since then, nothing. The technicians were supposed to come and check and we stayed in all day but nobody arrived or telephoned. The following day - oh they were only checking the line outside your house. Now there is no response from the technicians. A supervisor technician is supposed to call me on my mobile but I am still waiting.

Earlier this month the same happened and it took them a week to find that they needed a new part and had to order it from Germany. result - two weeks without service.

Now I am on my fourteenth telephone call to this neighted company whose management incomeptence, beggars belief. How do they hold on to their jobs.

I can vote with my feet and change provider. A company which screws its customers, lies to them and still expects payment for services which it does not provide, does not deserve to have any customers.
