I booked a car on 21-4-2014 with them for my trip to Budapest and they sent me email that by max 22-5-2014 I will get conformation. The next day I was checking the status for my booking and I found they changed the date for confirming the date to 23-4-2014. The next day also I checked the status of my booking also they changed the date to 24-4-2014. The following day I checked also and they changed again.
I called them to see what is going on and they told me the offer which they gave is not available and they are looking for supplier to get something similar.
Now they canceled my booking and the prices increased with the other companies because of them.
I use Rentalcars for all my rental needs. I have found them to be very competitive and provide an excellent service. If there are any problems with the actual hire itself they are prompt in following up and obtaining a satisfactory resolution.
No hassle no fuss in booking online. Desk was prominent in the arrivals area and the staff were very polite & friendly. The pick up spot was a short stroll across the car park & the whole procedure was quick and efficient. The car was immaculate & ready to go. Will definitely use Hertz again. Drop off was equally good with no hassle.
Really had a good experience hireing a car from Rentacars over the easter holiday`s , Picked up car at the Gerona airport had it for 4 days and then dropped it off at an unearthly time on the Tuesday morning. Just had to drop the key`s in the letter box and by the time I got home I had an e-mail to let me know the fuel left in the car would be refunded into my account. How cool is that.
Be careful about renting a car from Dollar via Rentalcars. And definitely avoid signing for a lessor car when it is forced upon you. I booked/paid for a 7 seater on March 10th. Needed the car for a family funeral last weekend (19th April). So, plenty of notice. Upon arriving Dollar told me that there were no 7 seaters and I had to take a 5 seater. With a head full of jet lag I signed the document and called Rentalcars from the car park to see what they could do. I learned later that if I had rejected Dollar and called Rentalcar immediately, Rentalcar could have shifted by contract to another carrier. Worth noting!!! The Rentalcar rep (via telephone) was fantastic. He battled away with rep after rep at the front desk of Dollar. No positive outcome. But he tried. Which is much more than I can say for the bumbling boys on the desk at Dollar Philadelphia Int'l Airport. They kept mumbling something about how Dollar "corporate" did not provide them with the right stock. My option was to come back the following day (3 hour round trip) to pick up the 7 seater that I had booked....though, Dollar would not guarantee anything. They also refused to drive the right car to me. A weekend funeral doesn't lend itself to driving back and forth to Dollar. Disgraceful. I am pursuing a refund for the 'bait and switch' by Dollar to a smaller car. I have no issue with Rentalcars. I would happily use them again. I have an issue with Dollar. I do NOT recommend Dollar. They are cheaper. But they serve up problems and are useless at resolving the problems.
the best car i have ever had from car rentals , service was superb i will definately book again ( hope i get the same car next time ) citreon c4 picasso lovely car to drive , really sorry that i had to give it back .
At first I must admit that I was worried about the low cost of the car hire through Rentalcars. At one point I thought that it might be a scam but I did contact the Manchester Call centre only to be reassured by one of the company. I was very pleasantly surprised when I turned up at Avis in downtown Cannes and would definitely use Rentalcars again and could recommend them to other people. Don't believe everything you read on tripadvisor.
Picked up the car from right next to the station, the car only had 190k on the clock. Dropped it back off at the same place meaning we had minimal walking distance with our luggage. Quick pick up and even quicker drop off. All went well.
I will never forget, I was so lucky to find & book a car rental service online in a short time a few days before my plane departure, so my family could drive around and see more of our holiday destination.
So thankful our holiday was fantastic with a car supplied to us.
