I ordered the Shisheido Benefiance Wrinkle resist eyecream and the order was delivered super quick. So I was happy with the delivery.
When i checked the Expiry date, which I always do with all cosmetics, using checkcosmetic.net, I found out the Manufacturing Date is 2008 ! General shelf life: 60 months Valid at least for the next 1 year ! Wow !
So if this product was manufactured in january 2008, I have about 3 months to finish using the product !!
I wouldnt use this product which has been sitting around for the past 5 years, would you ? Why do Sasa stock the item and leave it on the shelf for so long ?
I bought products from this website.
First, the delivery was SUPER slow. Other website similar with this sent products much more quickly!
Why do they need such a long time to send products???
Second, I got a faulty products. It was opened by someone already!!!!This was clearly a faulty products.
Third, I sent a email to the customer service to get a replacement or a refund.
They somehow need 2 business days minimum to send "template" email. Nothing was tailored on my situation.
Fourth, they asked me again to post it back by a "template" emails. Also, they insisted that they checked all the products before delivery, but it could be damaged during delivery (which means that nothing is their fault!?) It is fine, however, the policy mentioned that they will not accept opened products. My product was opened by someone, so I asked them to guarantee that I will get a replacement once I sent a product. And again, they sent a template email which was the exactly same template email to ask me to send it back! They also mentioned that they will cover the delivery fee, but I do not think that they will cover the box which I will use to send the product back. Why do I have to pay something to get the replacement which I am not sure that I will get a replacement!? Even if they decide to replace my products, I have to wait more than a month AGAIN!?
I thought "this is enough". I am not willing to spend my time to them to send the product with my time and cost (of box), and I might not get anything back. So I sent an email to them that I was totally unhappy with such a terrible customer service with template email & decided not to send the product back (also I decided not to use them). AGAIN, they sent a template email. WTF! In the end, I wrote to them not to send any more template emails with my unhappiness.
Finally, even though they know that I was totally unhappy with my purchase, they still asked me to write a review. So, I wrote the honest review with one star (because the product was such a sh*t), and they rejected my review!!! probably because I put one star for the product because I could not use it.
I will not recommend this shop to anyone AT ALL. There are so much better online shops. Do not consider to use this shop seriously!!! They do NOT know anything about customer service and product checking.
I am not one to complain too much about late delivery or bad communication but in this case I feel that i must to prevent anyone else experiencing the same thing. I ordered a few skincare items in early March and was promised delivery in 8 weeks, due to customs, which I was ok with as they did make it clear it would take that long. However after 10 weeks, nothing arrived so I contacted them. When I tracked the item, it said 'delivery unsuccessful' which was ridicolous because if it were, it would be sent to the post office, where I would have to personally go and collect it. They replied back saying they've sorted it out for me and I'll have my products in the next 3 weeks. 6 weeks passed, again nothing. I kept emailing them over and over again, and received the same automated emails. After 3 months of waiting, I asked for my money back. it took further annoying automated emails and reminders to them that they still haven;t issued a refund. Finally I got my money back after sending a pissed off email to them. all in all, it took 5 months. They only paid me back 85% of what I initially paid, which was annoying and thinking about it now, I should have refused and taken to court. It's little money, but I can tell that this is a way of scamming customers. This was the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing items from overseas. Will never go back to them. Ever.
Il mio primo ordine non ando' a buon fine, sono abbastanza rigidi per quanto riguarda il pagamento.(buono da un lato, troppo dall'altro) Non capisco come mai pretendessero fossero inviati TUTTI i dati sulla carta di credito per confermare l'avvenuto pagamento, per motivi di sicurezza aspettai semplicemente che accettassero i soldi senza dover inviare i dati relativi alla carta. Ma l'ordine fu cancellato, quindi la seconda volta riprovai con paypal e ando' tutto bene.
Il customer care risponde velocemente alle email, nota molto positiva.
I prodotti mi sono arrivati integri in una scatola, nonostante un prodotto mi sia arrivato senza l'adesivo di sicurezza che testi il prodotto nuovo (stesso prodotto uno con e l'altro senza). La spedizione e' arrivata in due settimane piu' o meno nonostante il pacco fosse IMPOSSIBILE da rintracciare, nonostante avessi il Tracking code
The delivery time was reasonable, I ordered the products on 1/14/2013 and received them today 1/28/2013. The delivery took about 14 days and I live in Arizona. I had a lot of difficulty logging in as a member to their website due to a problem within their system and they took a lot of time to amend the problem. To give them credit, they eventually did fix the problem and they had always responded to my emails within a time span of 3 days or so. Be aware that some email services cannot receive emails from their website making it difficult to receive important emails such as order confirmation number, tracking and membership login. I had difficulties because my email service kept blocking important emails.
Another warning is to look carefully at the product sizes. A lot of their products are sample sized and it is in fact listed for example 10 ml is a sample size. Be careful
when ordering products and look carefully at the description. The package was pretty untrackable although they give you a tracking number. It basically said on the website that the origin was preparing shipment despite the fact that the package was basically at my door. You would have to be a bum sitting at home to receive their packages.
Overall I liked the website and service was pretty good.
The ordering process on the site is decent.
The processing after payment from order received to dispatch takes a
while (4 days-- but I did order the day after Christmas and there was a
notice on the site that there would be delays) but acceptable
considering the holiday season.
Shipment to the U.S.A. took 11 business days which was in the 7-14
business day time frame stated. After leaving Hong Kong Post, it was sent
as Registered Mail via the United States Postal Service (which means I
would have to be home to sign for it or pick up my package at the Post
Office) a little more work, but it guarantees only the Recipient
receives the package--which I don't mind. I was emailed tracking
numbers to keep tabs on my shipment for both the Hong Kong Post and United States Postal Service.
The box was really beat up when I picked it up at the Post Office, but the contents were wrapped tightly and in excellent condition. I would think twice before ordering anything fragile/glass containers after looking at the condition of the shipping box. Whether that was the USPS or Hong Kong Post responsible, it's indeterminable.
Invoice/packing slip included was in English, accurate, and order was complete. No separated items. No damage. No customs fees or additional fees applied after receiving the shipment.
The only negative feedback was the time it takes to go from site purchase completion to shipment dispatch--that could be improved. Overall wait time from purchase to delivery: approximately 3 calendar weeks with Standard Delivery.
I will most likely order from sasa.com again.
delivery speed: sasa.com allows themselves a shipping time of 7-14 business days. My order was split into 2 parcels (apparently it's what they do if you order several items). I've waited for roughly 14 business days (about 3 weeks) for my 1st parcel and even longer for my 2nd.
The thing is: I only was informed via the parcel tracking service, that my 1st parcel was tendered to me (apparently) unsuccesfully and was shipped back to sender (sasa.com, HK). Do they really expect their clients to WAIT HOME ALL DAY FOR ALMOST A MONTH just in case your order from sasa.com will be delivered???? If they ship it via private courier and not with the local post service, it's custom to notify the recipient on which day the delivery will take place. Not even a note was in the post mail, nothing. The parcel could've never existed in the first place.
To top it of, you're expected to pay a fee and an additional shipping fee if your order should be sent to you again. Unless you're a bum and sitting at home all day, you're pretty much screwed.
Nowhere was I informed about this procedure while ordering at sasa.com!

I've ordered from them twice. The first time I tried to order, I had always this so called ''Server is busy'' problem. Trust me, I'm not the only one who keep complaining about this because it also happen when you try to review their items. Not only that, it took me 20 minutes to just place an order -_-
But at least, it's good they have a review system available. This is just a personal grudge now, but I don't like how they can't do a simple task like marking my parcel as a gift, since I hate the VAT system in my country. Yes, I know it's supposed to be like that but yet again it's just my personal grudge since I didn't get any charge from BonjourHK's parcel. Their working day to proceed my items takes usually 5 days, which is quite long for me since I'm used to 2-3 days.
The promotions they offer is really great, and many items are relative cheap compared to ebay and other stores. Sadly, there's some overpriced one like 2B Alternative line, if you compare the prices with BonjourHK it's a huge difference by 10$ or even more.
I highly dislike their points/reward system because we have to collect many points to reedem items (which is likely impossible, seriously)! It's good to see they have this ''alert'' system which informs you the specific item(s) when they've re-stocked it.
Sasa has items from head to toe, except hair dyes though. I love that they sell so many brands of Asian cosmetics, since it's impossible for me to get it in Norway. Otherwise, I am satisfied enough. I am also under impression that they sell diet and health items, like tea, pills etc.
They communicate in English, French and Chinese. Their English is good, so don't worry about that :)
Ordered the KOSE happy bath day rose enrich body butter at $18.20 but was sent KOSE happy bath day rose enrich milk body gel priced at $10.20. I ordered through a friend's account so I thought she ordered the wrong item for me and opened the shrink wrap before we realised they sent us the wrong thing.
At first they said they'll get back to us so by the time they replied it was already two weeks. They said because we opened it we were not offered a return (which we would have to pay for shipping from a mistake they made) but we were offered a refund of $0.40 as they stated the body gel they sent was only a price difference of $0.40.
We emailed them back with a photo of what they sent and told them that the item the prices of the item we ordered and the item they sent us was $8 in difference but they kept denying it and took the web listing to the product down for both items.
We still had the receipt to the body butter so we could prove that it was $18.20 but we had no proof the body gel was only worth about half the price of the butter. So we went on yesstyle and found the listings to both products and they also had the price difference of approximately half the amount.
We sent them both listings and told them even yesstyle priced the butter to double the body gel and it was not possible for them to sell it at $0.40 difference. This time they replied another few weeks later and all they kept doing was saying how sorry they were that we were disappointed and then they offered us $5 credit at the sasa online shop along with a small gift when we next purchase a product off them. We have been emailing them every week asking for a refund of the $8 they owe us; nothing more, nothing less.
It has been almost two months after the purchase of this order and I have still not received compensation for my $8.
They not only deny and also did not explain their mistake of wrong shipping but they also refuse to give my full money back whether in refund OR store credit. They are the most irresponsible and unprofessional customer service I have encountered through online shopping and I purchase from a range of stores for clothing, beauty products and electronics almost monthly for a few years now. Their behaviour towards the customer and reluctance to assist their client is disgusting that they had to go to the lengths of removing item listings to cover up their fault (as at wednesday 19th sept 2012, they have TWO listings for the ONE product: the KOSE happy bath day rose enrich conditioner. It appears TWICE on the 33rd new products page which I suspect has been doubled to replace the body gel).
I am sure glad I did not personally have an account with them. I will NEVER purchase from them again. It is not worth the trouble. I would advise everyone to avoid dealing with them online ESPECIALLY those overseas as you cannot talk to them in person.
All they are concerned with is taking your money and luring you to purchase more from them by returning (not full amount owed) in credit. Would you still trust them to send you the correct product again or giving you products to the value of what you paid?

The site seems a little bit chaotic to me, because I'v needed much time to find the products I was looking for, but the selection is huge and if one has got used to this site, it'll be easier to find the products.
My order came punctual, but for me, the package was a little bit exaggerate (the package was twice as big as the things, which I ordered).
If you live in an obscure city where it's hard to find good and decent price Asian beauty products then SaSa.com is a good place to shop.
The prices are fair although, not exactly the same as Hong Kong BUT it's still cheaper than buying it from other sellers (inflated prices and high shipping rates).
Shipping is a hit or miss. Shipping is free with purchase of $75 (or $99 - don't remember) BUT they offer shipping promos quite often (at least 2 times a month). The promo is free shipping with purchase of $25 (with tracking #) or add $8 for express mail.
In addition to the free shipping promo, sometimes they offer generous freebies. One time I got a free blackhead remover lotion that was worth $60! Because of this I guess a lot of people ordered and this delayed the packaging time and mail processing. This particular parcel with the free $60 lotion took 3 weeks to arrive to Canada. But taking into consideration that it did come from another country 3 to 4 weeks arrival time seems fair.
As well, you must check their weekly/monthly promotions on their site. You can take advantage of these promos (example buy one get one free, or free item with purchase of X, etc.,).
One problem I see with SaSa.com is that you get charged $5 for cancelling an order, and since they are located in Hong Kong there is a 12 hour difference for me.
Overall, it's been a positive experience to shop at SaSa.com

Wanted to pay with credit card and they asked for photocopies of my card and bank statements via email. Everybody knows it's scam and only fools would do it, yet their copy-pasted customer service reply kept on repeating itself, not paying attention to the topics I mentioned in my inquiry. I was called a fraud in the language of law, and when refused to give out scans(!) of my credit card, they cancelled my order on their own, without a word or apologizing. Second time I tried with another credit card. Partly, I wanted to see if they repeated the same treatment, they did. Same route again, not caring about my suggestion to swithch to Paypal either. Same "I-don't-give-a-shit-about-what-you-want" styled CS reply with only copy-pasted bullshit, which will make you feel humiliated, not them...
Now, this is a legit company....no wierd delays or false advertising. I've shopped at the wonderful Sasa outlets in Hongkong and have ordered online from sasa many times and without fail always recieved my items. Delivery takes around 10 days (slow) but, atleast you know where you stand. The only problem is that they don't stock enough products (limited) and often run out of stock.
Terrible terrible purchase experience. Order submitted more than 2 months ago and still not send out from the warehouse. They blame on the company's relocation of the warehouse, but my friend who made a purchase a month after me received her shipment 2 weeks ago! When I called in to check on my orders, they told me if I can't wait any longer, just cancel my order. They completely careless about me being a customer or on my purchase! They kept on telling me my order will be processed soon... soon... soon... but it has been 2+ months!
So unsatisfied by this company! Will never go back to them!
they shipped my ordered probably to the wrong address. item got returned to them becoz the package was unclaimed. i asked them for a picture of the address label on the package. they sent me a picture of the label that address was cross out. i can bearly tell if it's my name nor the address is correct. they now ask me to pay the shipping again to send my goods or refund me w/o shipping fees. what a scam!
