Quality shopping made easy

I wanted a Tom Chambers trellis and could not find it anywhere. You had it and were able to order extra for me. Even though the order came in two parts they came when you said they would and I would use your service again.

Excellent value and service

The service from Shackletons was excellent, very friendly delivery team and delivered to the South within a couple of days of ordering the garden furniture. This coupled with the fact that Shackletons was the cheapest place I could find online for this particular garden set means I would have no hesitation using the company again and recommending it to others.

Very good service

Very good service, particularly on the internet & telephone support supplied by Becky on both occasions. Delivery arrived to time as stated.

part one of delivery was fabulous - we knew when they were arriving with goods.

part two - not so good we were on holiday and delivery was made without us knowing. Luckily, we have good neighbours who took the delivery in after coming home and finding it outside our front door.

Excellent service and great quality product

We ordered a garden parasol which unfortunately was not in stock. However, Shackleton's were excellent at keeping us informed of the situation, and the item was dispatched as soon as available. We are extremely pleased with the product - it is exactly as described, and was offered at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Shackleton's for their extensive product range, competitive pricing and superb customer service.

Item not in stock

I ordered a £100 garden table, which was advertised as available. However, the table was not in stock at Shackletons, neither was it in stock with their supplier. I had to wait over 6 weeks for the table to be imported from Italy, then forwarded to Shackletons.
However, I received frequent updates from Shackletons throughout the waiting period, and the table was of excellent quality when it eventually did arrive.
I would buy from them again, but think that they should really check what's available before advertising things for sale that they don't have.

Ordered some patio furniture for delivery to our new holiday home, ordered in advance of completion on our home, delivery arranged for the day of completion and delivered on time, Great customer service.

Although what I ordered came incomplete the response to send the missing components was really good

Superb service, friendly staff.. don't hesitate..

I found the furniture I wanted on the website and this very clever chatbox appeared.. I asked if this product was in stock and was told it was..

Two days later I placed my order on the website.. 90 minutes later I got a call to say they wanted to deliver my furniture about lunch time the following day.. soon after 11am it arrived.

This is obviously a company which delivers on it's promises. Very friendly and helpful staff, great furniture.. I couldn't be happier.. perfect.

Garden furniture sorted for the summer!

With so much to choose from it was a good job the staff at Shackletons were on hand to help! Picked up a nice set of table and chairs for the garden, roll on the barbecues...

Slow delivery - cancelled order

I ordered a bench which the web site said was "in stock". Delivery was quoted as 5 to 7 days. Got a nice confirmation of the order and then nothing at all for 2 weeks. Emailed customer service and got no reply.

Rang the next day and the ( very nice ) agent said there were problems getting stuff from the supplier. I told her they had taken the money immediately and that I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd thought it wasn't in stock. She said she would check and would call me back later with the information. She didn't call back.

Rang the next day. Spoke ( I think ) to the same person. She said that she was waiting on information from the Warehouse and that she would call back in an hour our so. Waited til near the end of the day. She didn't call back.

Rang again. She said she had heard from the warehouse that they were not expecting deliveries from the supplier for another 7 to 10 days. So I cancelled my order. The agent was very polite and apologised for the problem. She said she would process the refund immediately - which she did. Payment was refunded within minutes.

Checked, and the web site was no longer saying "in stock" but was still quoting delivery as "normally 2 to 5 days". Clearly impossible if they are not expecting a delivery in that period.

My recommendation for anyone considering buying from here is to do it by phone and to check availability before ordering.

The Garden Furniture I purchased from Shackletons is of the highest quality and really makes my Garden into an extra room. I ordered a lovely Garden Patio Set from the Westminster Garden Furniture range and not only did they deliver it within the week they also assembled it for me as well. Great Service and Fast delivery

Was just relaxing on my new Madrid Grand Lounge furniture that was delivered last week and felt I would have to share my experience with Shackletons as it was first class. I found the website really easy to navigate and found just what I was looking for in no time. The communication was really good and delivery was spot on. I would defo recommend this company who supply the Madrid range as it is really stylish and looks ace in my conservatory!

OK - if you are prepared to wait and wait

Disappointed as item was not in stock and needed to be ordered, I was given an estimated time following ordering but unfortunately this was significantly underestimated.
It would be useful to flag at time of ordering "stock available" or "Need to order", and if out of stock a realistic expection of order fulfilment. I called 3 times to chase order, each time after the time estimate given from prior communication. Eventually, talked with owning familly member, and although conversation was civil I didn't get the feeling that there was any concern with my experience and that I wasn't at all important. I was left feeling that Shackletons were not really interested and that in future I will shop elsewhere given the lack of any genuine interest.

Easy to order online and good quality furniture.

I ordered an arbour online. The website was easy to negotiate and it was easy to place an order and pay for it. The arbour was delivered promptly and we're really pleased with it.

A Pleasure to deal with

Due to an unforseen event my order wasn't delivered when expected. I received a very pleasent phonecall explaining the reasoning and was told exactly when to expect my delivery. True to their word it arrived when I was told.

Superfast Delivery- Very impressed

I ordered a set of dining room furniture on the weekend of the 17th December, hoping that I would be able to have it in time for a big family get-together that we are having at Christmas- not only did it arrive early the following week (Monday 19th), but the delivery team assembled the table and took away all the boxes! Very impressed indeed!

Slow to post and no updates

Ordered a circular grill. It took over a month to arrive. I received no email feedback when i emailed the customer service department about when my order was going to arrive. The product eventually arrived just before I was going to go through paypal to try and get my money back. The grill itself is excellent.

In this unfortunate case, the order was sent directly from the manufacturer as it wasn't one of our stock items. Having chased the order on behalf of the customer once the item arrived in stock with the manufacturer, they sent the product out the same day for next day delivery.

Excellent advice and service

I found the help and advice from Shackletons to be exceptional. I wasn't quite sure which garden furniture set to buy and they were happy to point me in the right direction. Delivery was quick and Shackletons even assembled my new outdoor garden furniture set and removed the packaging, leaving me to enjoy my glass of wine in the garden.
