Stay away from Shoemall!!!!!

I ordered a pair of Lucky oxfords from Shoemall. They took forever to get here. When I opened the box, I couldn't believe the shoddy, poor quality of the product. So, I followed the return instructions that said to pack the shoes up, use the return sticker, no postage necessary and that they would deduct $6.95 for postage, from my refund. I do read well and was wondering why the label didn't show no postage necessary, since they will be deducting around $7.00 from a $20 purchase.
Guess what? They lied. Got a notice from the postoffice that I need to pay to send them back to Shoemall. I am wondering if, I do this, will they deduct another $6.95 on their end. I am tossing the shoes in the trash, as they are too trashy for Goodwill.
Never, ever again....lesson learned.
Obviously, they spend their money on great photos, to hide the trashy shoes they sell.

Worst store ever!

I went on ebay in search of the slippers I had been hunting for, I had tried all other outlets first apparently failing to research on google and see I could have gotten them for a little more directly from Skechers.. I digress. I went and found the color and size I wanted from Shoemall on ebay. Said there were 2 in stock, so I bought them next morning magically out of stock. I went on ebay and checked reviews lots of upset customers. So I filed a Paypal dispute, emailed them and demanded a refund. Now they sent me a screen shot showing its in process though I cannot see it on my end of paypal. I am considering contacting paypal to verify that they are indeed issuing me a refund. I even emailed to pick a pair in another color, apparently completely out. But if you go on ebay and look up the slippers in a size 8 they are still listed. I find this really poor in taste for them. Do not buy from this company EVER!!!! Warn all friends against them.

Avoid like the plague.

This is the story of my horrific ShoeMall experience.

I was going out of town for the holidays and ended up needing new shoes in a hurry. With 9 days to go before I left, I shopped around for a site that had my shoes in stock, had the best price, and would also take PayPal. Most importantly, I needed a website that had rush delivery. I ended up at ShoeMall. Absolutely one of my worst decisions.

I paid for the shoes and selected all of the options to have them rushed as fast as possible. Days went by and the order was still 'processing' - not even out the door yet. 4 days until my trip, I emailed them to ask what the deal was, when I had paid over three times the normal shipping just to get a pair of shoes on time.

I received a short, one sentence response to my email: "Your payment was not approved." Confused, I went to PayPal, where my payment was listed as pending. I sent an email to PayPal, who explained that the payment was actually not pending - it was completed, and they gave me the data that confirmed an exact date and time that they successfully processed and paid ShoeMall, which had been about 5 minutes after I had made the order. It was listed as Pending, they explained, because they don't list payments as Complete until the seller has confirmed that they have shipped the product and the transaction has officially been completed.

So I forwarded this information to ShoeMall, who sent me another short response that essentially ignored all of this, again claiming the payment had not yet been approved by PayPal. Once again, I got in touch with PayPal, who, again, sent me more information confirming that they had approved this payment and it was entirely in ShoeMall's hands at this point. Very agitated, I forwarded this directly to ShoeMall and told them to stop wasting my time - I was now locked into this ShoeMall purchase, because PayPal HAD sent them the money. I was out $150 from my account, so regardless, I couldn't afford to buy a pair somewhere else until that money was returned.

ShoeMall, realizing they couldn't keep lying to me about the status of my payment, quickly changed the story. PayPal had just now approved the payment as of the moment he was writing the email, he said, and now the story was that my shoes were actually out of stock in my size. This was the point where I realized I was screwed, because if they were entirely out of stock, that meant there was no way I could get these shoes - or any shoes - before I left. They could refund my money, but PayPal refunds take days, and now I only had 3 days before I left.

Their website has an "in stock" indicator. It tells you before your purchase whether or not a shoe is in stock in your selected size. At the time of my purchase, my shoe was listed as in stock, which was one of the reasons I ended up at ShoeMall.

So I related my anger to the customer service representative, who did something that is probably one of the leading causes of people snapping and turning into mass murderers. He backed up his argument to the payment processing once again, stating that the shoes probably were in stock when I ordered them, but that they don't 'hold' shoes for a customer until payment is received. Because PayPal only mysteriously approved the order just moments ago (and not 6 days ago, as all records from PayPal and my own account balances indicated), the shoes were out of stock and I was out of luck. Which in itself is probably the most asinine thing I've ever heard of, ignoring the reality of the situation.

Absolutely fuming with rage at this point, I poured it all out on the customer service representative about how asinine, unprofessional, and utterly ridiculous all of this was. He gave me some short response about how it was all PayPal's fault, and even implied that somehow it may even be MY fault, and asked if I would like a refund. I simply said yes, and ShoeMall didn't bother to begin the process of the refund until the day after I left (3 days after the final email exchange). It didn't finish processing until a week later, and I didn't have the money back in my account until a few days before I came back (to be fair, some of that delay was on PayPal's end, not ShoeMall's).

I ended up leaving town in sandals. From Omaha, Nebraska. In literally zero degree weather. To a place that was all of 10 degrees warmer. Fortunately, I didn't lose any of my toes, so I guess there's that. Thanks, ShoeMall.

Honestly, if not for the way customer support treated me, I may have shopped at ShoeMall again. Mistakes happen. But in a dozen emails, they never apologized for a mistake made on their part. They insisted it was everyone else's fault. They were short, they were rude, they even implied I was at fault for their own mistakes and poor way of handling business, in whatever world that makes sense. I think just a simple "hey, we screwed up, we're sorry" would have made everything that much more tolerable, but putting their faults on me is where I say nope, we're done. Even if I end up in some unimaginable horror scenario where I have to either buy from ShoeMall or pay ten times as much elsewhere, I will buy elsewhere.

Absolutely do. not. buy. at. ShoeMall.

I agree this site is bad. There shipping predictions are very inaccurate. Slow shipping via fedex, which is then passed on to USPS for the final leg of delivery. If you can find a different vendor for the same price, use them instead.

Horrible Company - Avoid Shopping at Shoemall

If I could give them less than one Star I would.

Avoid shopping at Shoemall. This is the most unprofessionally run company I have ever experience.

My Very First Order: I order a two pair of shoes, realize that I had choose the wrong color, tried to call back and a recording said they were closed to call back next morning. I called the moment their lines were opened and was told by their rude customers service operator that my product had already been placed on the delivery truck which was odd since I placed the order the night before and called immediately after realizing the area. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she placed note that the return wouldn't be charged shipping cost. Not only did it take me forever to receive my product but they still charged me for the return.

My Second Order: My shoes took forever to be delivered, 10 days from within the United States. Unbelievble.

My Third Order: I order the shoes on April 19th, April 26 still no shoes, I called, they tell me the shoes have been mailed. On May 1, 2013 the shoes were delivered to the WRONG ADDRESS. When I called they tried to tell me that they were delivered to the address I gave them but the confirmation email they sent to me had the address that the shoes were suppose to be sent to. I asked for a Supervisor, who said they could have the shoes resent, I told them I want my money refunded back in my account. She said they could have to send me out a claims form, week pass no claims form, I called again, they tell me to wait a couple more days. I called again then they decided to email a claims form which they could have originally done but didn't. Claims form completed and emailed back within that hour. it took 4 more days to refund the money back into my account.

I don;t know where this company is actually located. I get the feeling it is run out of someone's house and garage. Customer Service Workers probably work from home and probably have no access to the product you have order or the workers who load your product out to be mailed.

I have since deleted my account information because who knows what they would do with it and pretend they did nothing!

I will no longer give this company any type of business. EVER!

So so selection, decent website, terrible return policy

"easy returns"??? I think not. I bought on PayPal so unbeknownst to me I lose out on the whole easy returns thing. The people answering the phone hate their jobs and I can guess why. It's a bad business practice not to stand by what you say. Since I bought with PayPal I have no way to be charged to return my shoes! Lol. I bought several pair through dsw since I can return. Better selection and prices. I'd assume just pay $300 for boots from somewhere that can empathize with someone who's hard to fit as I am. Customer service at shoemall is rude and jaded. I feel bad for them, again, having to dole out these rules. Grown up love to be talked down to...nope we can do this and take our money elsewhere. Just happened

Shoemall has terrible customer service

I have ordered shoes from ShoeMall, Piperline, Endless and Zappos and had great experience with all EXCEPT ShoeMall.

The customer service at ShoeMall was terrible..they were rude and unfriendly. And their shipping is extremely slow. And they will not honor price protection.

I ordered a pair of booties from them very late at night over the weekend and early Monday morning when I logged onto their website to check status, I discovered that they were offering a huge discount of 25%. My order had not even been shipped yet...it was just queued for shipping.

I asked for a credit on the difference. They said flat out NO. I said then don't ship them to me. They said too late. I said then I will refuse package. They said no..I would be on the hook for full amount if I refused the package.

I had to wait 2 weeks for the package to arrive (meanwhile, all the orders I placed at numerous other online places arrived within 1 to 3 days).

I return shipped the booties back to Shoemall right away. And after 2 weeks, they still have not issued a credit to my card.

They are terrible and I will NEVER shop there again. Their loss because I have purchased lots of very nice quality shoes/boots online.

Shoemall sucks

The shipping is totally ridiculous. I needed these shoes for an event. I ordered almost 2 weeks before. The event is now tomorrow and I have absolutely no idea where my shoes are that i made 60 dollars for. I will never do business with Shoemall again.

Free shipping is pathetic

Don't do "free shipping!" Their warehouse is located in Chippewa Falls, WI. I live in the same state and my package is now in Los Angeles, CA!!! First, it went to Minnesota, then back into Wisconsin... to a town that's only 15 minutes from my house and it sat there for 4 days and now it's in California. I could have just driven to the last place and picked the package up myself! According to the tracking info, it is not supposed to be delivered for a week, now, and before, it said it would be delivered today... so that's 11 days total in transit, when it could have taken 2 or 3. I know the shipping is free, but this is pathetic!!!
