i have been unable to log into my account for 9 days now , tried the password reset link which tells me i can now log in but still no success. numerous messages to shopto.net have had no response now my emails are bouncing back as undeliverable, starting to suspect the company has gone out of business, no one ever responds to messages on facebook etc ,they have my money for a game that i have proof was returned a week ago ,i have no way of accessing my account to check the return has been processed or place new orders (not that i would bother now! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM !
I had a very bad experience with shopto. A site i will never shop from again.
I live in Denmark and had pre-ordered a PS4 from shopto. When i pre-ordered it I called shopto to hear if it would be a problem to ship the console to Denmark. I was told that it would not be a problem, and they would ship the PS4 the day before the release date. I double checked this by writing to their costumer service, and they confirmed that it wouldn't be a problem. So i was looking forward to my PS4. Two weeks before the release i got a mail saying that all accessories and games bought with the console would be shipped in the same box as the PS4, so i bought Battlefield 4.
Then the launch of the PS4 came around and I was looking forward to receive my PS4, but nothing happened. I received an email saying that Battlefield had been shipped but no info on the Playstation. I tried to call costumer service but the phones were down. I then send an email to costumer service to ask about the console. Six days later i received an email back saying that my order has been canceled because they can't ship to Denmark... I wrote back to tell them my frustration about this. If I had known this a month before the release, I would have bought it in Denmark. But now the console is sold out all over the country and i can first get one in february.. I received my game but i can't use a game without a console so i told them i would like to return the game and my money back, but they have not answered this request.. Im very disappointed and i have wasted my money on a game i can't use. Thanks a lot shopto..
I genuinely loved these guys. I have been a loyal gold member for 5 years and have spent almost £4000 in that time. Usually, any issue I have come up against has been dealt with quickly and happily.
I pre-ordered a generous Xbox One launch pack from them back in July. On Friday DPD lost the parcel and confirmed that it was missing to both myself and Shopto.
The following Monday I phone shopto in the morning and am told that they are waiting for DPD to confirm that the parcel is indeed missing and they will get me a replacement out that same day. Brilliant I thought, good job shopto.
I phone again at 2pm. They still haven't heard from DPD, so I explicitly asked the question: "ok, so two things can happen right? DPD find it and deliver it to me tomorrow or they don't find it and you send out a replacement tomorrow. Either way I get one tomorrow. Right?". The guy I spoke to (who subsequently turned out to be one of the managers) said "YES, that's exactly it".
Ok, cool. I could rest easy, all is in hand.
At 5pm, I haven't received a confirmation that anything had been done, so I phoned again.
"Sorry sir, we cannot issue a replacement until the DPD investigation is complete. This will take at least 3 working days".
Hang on. What? What happened?
This discussion went on for half an hour. Apparently there was a new policy from upper management THAT VERY AFTERNOON that insisted that replacements and refunds cannot happen until the full investigation has finished. DPD have confirmed it is missing, but as the customer I now have to wait while DPD and shopto argue about what they are going to do for each other. This is a disgrace.
Any other company would have issued a replacement on Monday morning, keeping the customer away from any internal investigation, but no, I have to suffer because their choice of courier lost my parcel.
I insisted on speaking to a manager and one wasn't available. I insisted on seeing this new policy as I was sure they cant just add policies without informing the customer, none were forthcoming. I asked to speak to the guy who had misinformed me earlier, he wasn't available. IN FACT, he turned out to be the same manager that had now become unavailable for me to speak to.
So, sorry Shopto. I am *this* close to never using you again and spreading the word on just how you treat your loyal customers. I will be speaking to them again today and will be delighted to amend the review if they change their stance, but I doubt they will.

Such excellent service and speed, everything is always delivered correctly and prices are great.
Only reason I would order elsewhere is if there are sales which mean it would cost more to order from shop.to
I have ordered over 7 items from Shopto since I found the site and not once have they failed to impress me. They have delivered the majority of my items before the actual release date, with one or two being delivered on the release date, which is amazing. Their track record for me is quality, they really do work their hardest to please their customers and give them the best shopping experience for gaming. They also send you a photo of your product packed with your name and address on it, which is also a nice touch.
I really recommend Shopto to any gamer who likes to buy their gaming products online.

I hadn't ordered from ShopTo for ages, but they're still as good as I remember.
I had to update some details on my account and when I went to complete my order the website kept throwing an error. I gave them a call at about 14:00 and the guy I spoke to sorted it all out within a few minutes. I then received my order the next morning.
If only all companies were this efficient.
I have to leave a 2 star review following a recent purchase via my mobile phone on the shopto website, I recently tried to order an xbox live 12 month deal with free games and according to my phone the order never went through so I tried 3 times and each time it never went through so I gave up. A few days later 3 turned up so I was a little annoyed it took quite a few phone calls and messages to get it rectified with bronze points missing etc. Was eventually sorted though.
I've used Shop To twice now for the pre order and subsequent purchase of games after having late delivery issues with Amazon and they haven't disappointed at all. No problems whatsoever, will always be playing the game I ordered on the day of the games release (at bare minimum)

Brilliant site, competitive prices, in site cash back scheme, super super fast delivery. Love the 5 minute dispatch range; thousands of titles which are despatched to you within 5 minutes of payment. Also good comms when items are dispatched; email, text alerts etc. My favourite gaming specific website.
Shopto have delivered to me on time again and again, their prices are excellent, they have a huge selection to choose from and a great loyalty scheme. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
You just can't fault ths company, the service is near unbelievable and not just their amazingly fast delivery service. As even when things go wrong (and that just happend once) their customer service sorts its with no fuss at all.
I cant speaking highly enough of this company, they get all my games orders and my PS4 pre order.
If your wanting fast delivery and good priced games Shopto is the best website for that. I've never had an issue with them regarding delivery, payment or anything else. The website is very easy to use and find the games your interested in. If you were to pre order with them you will always get it on release date (from my experience)
I ordered GTA 5 about a week before release day and paid for it straight away though PayPal, then I saw online that rockstar had said no online retailer is to dispatch the game till the 16th of September lucky I picked DPD to delver and got it on release day.
Now I will use shop to all the time

First time I used shopto was to preorder GTAV as I'd heard they usually ship a bit earlier. I was happy to receive the game on release date as promised but really wanted it the day earlier as I was working on release date and couldn't play it. So in future shopto, make sure you ignore the manufacturers and give gamers what they want otherwise you'll lose out to amazon.
ShopTo is simply the best place to purchase games and consoles. With fast despatch times and next day free delivery, you're guaranteed to receive your purchases safely and quickly with a little extra reward points.

Preorders usually arrive a day early, so you don't mind paying the £5-8 extra ShopTo seem to charge for new releases, however GTA V was released, paid the extra £8 over Amazon/Game etc and the game didn't come early, despite being emailed Saturday stating the order was dispatched.
I shall order elsewhere in future, get the game early and save the £5-8 difference.
I'm really amazed by the fact that It arrived on day of release, that's really shocked me and has really put confidence in the store for me.. Just wish I had pre ordered the ps4 with them now😕 haha ohwell

Ordered an XBox Live membership, my first order with ShopTo, they claim next day despatch by First Class post, one week later still no order has been received, very disappointing & am wondering if I will ever receive this order or will I have to go through the hassle of claiming for a lost parcel. I now have to fork out another £30 as my membership expires in a few days, but will be buying from elsewhere.
I wouldn't shop here again as I have no confidence in the company now.

Same great service as ever. Fast, efficient, easy and communicative, it's why I'm a returning customer.
However, Shopto still disappoint when it comes to shipping non-standard games cases.
The jiffy bags work fine for shipping the standard, hard plastic boxes but are a really poor choice for shipping special/limited editions that come in flimsier cardboard boxes.
This is the second times that my product has arrived with a slightly crushed box.
Just because they are a similar size and shape they are shipped the same way as standard packages with no regard for the contents.
This is particularly puzzling and disappointing because the kinds of customers who order the (often more expensive) special editions are the kind of customers who want their purchase to remain in good condition. I have expressed this opinion to the customer support in the past.
It's a little heart-breaking opening your purchase to discover that it's no-longer in mint condition before you had even laid hands on it.
ShopTo always has the best choices, offers, prices, etc.
Can't even fault service as games always arrived on release day.
Especially like their new swap service for pre-orders...managed to change my PS4 pre-order to a bundle without loosing my original pre-order date.
I pre-ordered my copy of GTA V months ago and even paid for it early on the understanding that it would be with me by launch day. Launch day came, the postman came and went and there was no game. I can only assume negligence as my other friends who also used shopto, got their copies of the game that day.
The next day delivery is not false advertising with Shopto (unlike Amazon prime), Not only does the delivery come the next working day but you get an email which estimates the time of delivery and another email when it has been delivered (Its great to know when you get back home from work). I will definitely be sticking with Shopto for the big game releases from now on, even if its a few quid more.
Very happy with the service.
