STASH Double Bergamot- Not! teabags. s

Promisingly their Double Bergamot tea bag smelled reassuringly strongly of bergamot. Unfortunately it somehow managed to completely disappear by the time it had become a cup of tea, and a pretty poor cup of box standard tea too. This quest for a decent Earl Grey tea bag to replace the Co-Op fairtrade one, that without warning, just disappeared from their shelves, and all the staff could tell me was that they were no longer selling it, and "No", I couldn't just buy up whatever they'd got left and put in the back. I realise that the global bergamot prices have risen, but along with the period before I discovered the co-op Earl Grey, I've probably tried 20 brands, each one promising the strong bergamot taste I'm looking for, which none have delivered. Most of the brands I'm trying now cost 50p a bag, some more, with the premium brands why can't they send a couple of sample bags? Because basically I feel like you honestly can't believe a word they're saying when describing what to expect. And my cupboard is full of awfully below par and dishonestly described non-Earl Grey tea bags. How on earth can something that smells so strongly of bergamot, double bergamot in fact, not transfer any of that taste into the cup of tea and lose it's smell too. Maybe just the inside of the individual bags have been "dabbed" with bergamot oil 🤔. I'd be happy to pay more in consideration of the higher prices. A bit of honesty would be wonderful too. Oh well, another box for the cupboard. Would it be worth me trying to contact the Co-Op's buyers and asking them where they got that tea from? Or which food banks or charities they gave all of the boxes they removed to? Well I hope they were passed on and didn't just end up in landfill?! Ooh, maybe I could find out the location of the landfill, desperate times, desperate measures......... or I'm just suffering withdrawal symptoms from the lack of bergamot. ☹️☹️☹️

Terrible tea

Terrible tea! Tastes like nothing. The tea bags were open and the tea string came off most of the box. Never buying again.

Purchase the lemon Ginger

Purchase the lemon Ginger. First few cups of tea were okay. Today I tried one. It tastes like candle wax. I don't know what they use but I don't think I will be buying it anymore

No way to manage subscription, zero customer service

I have been using Stash's subscription service for quite some time and have been very pleased, never had any issues. I received a notification that my credit card on file needed to be updated. I logged in to manage my subscription and that option has completely disappeared. There is nowhere on the website to manage my subscription! I can't change the card or stop or edit. I have emailed multiple times and not received any response. Today I found a phone number and called - it was robotic. I insisted I wanted to speak to a representative and was informed representation was limited and someone would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours! Super disappointed.

It’s Complicated. Buy through Amazon not the Website

So! Stash Tea… I’m going to rate this based on how the company handled my transaction; however, my previous experiences with the company have been very different. First, this is the first time I have utilized the company website when purchasing something from them, as I have previously used Amazon, and website interface was actually fairly easy. All of my previous purchases from them through Amazon have been delivered in a timely fashion with communication if there was any issues. I made my purchase on March 27, everything was in stock and I signed up for a subscription service to reoccur every three weeks. I wasn’t expecting it to arrive until the middle of the next week (April 2-4) but by that time I had no communication on if my order was being processed or not. My order was not processed until April 8 and didn’t arrive until April 14 nearly three weeks after I had ordered. It’s now the last day of April and I have not received any indication that my subscription has continued, which given how long it took for me to receive my initial order is not surprising. I will still buy from the company again but Do Not Buy from their website expecting timely service.

I buy a lot of tea but I like the lemon…

I buy a lot of tea but I like the lemon ginger tea Stacy makes, except for one thing, the bags always open and all the ground tea ends up in my water, why is this always happening and can it be fixed. Very upsetting ! I just made myself another and again it opened and I had to use a coffee filter and make a mess trying to get the. Ground tea out just so I can drink it and not through it out. Hopefully someone from the stash tea company can get back to me to rectify this in some way.

Terrible customer service

Placed an order on November 16th, at which time all items were in my order were in stock. Three days later, I received an email informing me that one item was out of stock, and fulfillment of the entire order would be delayed. I was also told that the company had "initiated a transfer for the [out of stock] product," which could "take up to 10 business days to become available." Well, it's December 6th, and my order still has not been fulfilled, and I haven't received any further communication from Stash. When I responded to the November 19th email from Stash, I received no response. I tried calling the company as well, and after navigating through pre-recorded messages, and a frustrating "interaction" with a bot, I was supposedly transferred to an agent, but no one ever picked up the phone. Instead, an automated message instructed me to send the Stash team email. The call was placed around 2:30 PT on Friday, and the office apparently closes (despite the increased holiday demand) at 4PM PT on Friday, and does not reopen until Monday. Not happy or impressed with this company.

Very poor customer service 😞

I have complained numerous times but had no response back . Bought the decaf chai spice tea bags- not cheap and only 18 bags in the box. The spices are fine but the black tea is so weak , even 2 bags arnt enough! I would have given no stars but I couldn’t - very dissatisfied!

Shipment damaged and no response from the company.

Received a large order of tea. Upon opening the shipping box which was undamaged I found what looked like someone just stuffed the tea boxes in crushing them. Box was plenty big so why were they crushed down to half the size of the box? Multiple attempts to contact the company only receive response the office is closed. We will contact you as soon as possible. Got my money so they don't seem to care.

Customer service non existent

I placed large order for loose tea to qualify for free shipping. All the loose leaf tea was close to being expired. I emailed customer service. Was totally ignored. I have been a loyal customer for years. I will never order from Stash tea again. Not that they care. I would not bother with them.

not helpful or trustworthy

ordered a bunch of tea, one was not able to be shipped with the rest. however, instead of being notified and given the option to cancel, it was shipped separately and i was charged 9.99 for shipping. And not refunded for that tea in the original. Then, 8 days later, the tea was shipped again with charge to shipping. sent an email, no one replied for over 48 hours. Then I called. no one picked up. then i finally sent a chat. I was told this happened because I signed up for a subscription (never). and they supposedly took me off the subscription, never refunded my shipping charges. very dishonest way of dealing with an error or glitch on their end. I'm done with stash.

#1 brand according to me

My favorite tea out of hundreds of brands. Every time I visit Canada or US, I always buy several packs back to Europe. I especially recommend the "Chai Spice Black Tea" or any similar sort, which I heard was other customers' favorite too when talking with them directly.

Since I am enjoying a cup of the tea right now, I felt that I wanted to support their company. Thank you from Sweden!

No Contact

I placed two back-to-back orders with Stash and wanted to return two mugs due to the colors not resembling the pictures online and needing a replacement for a box of tea that was quite damaged in the box (it was to be a gift). I have left three messages (over the course of a week) for this company and emailed them as well (2 weeks ago) with no response despite the fact that their voicemail says they will get back to you within one business day. Not a good first impression.

This was an awful experience

This was an awful experience. My cousin sent me a gift, which was supposed to be a chest with 80 tea bags. I got the chest, but it only had two bags. I let them know, and asked if they could send the tea. Instead, they said I had to send the box back (which would require a long trip to the post office for me, and my days are quite busy). They said they could not send the tea, because it would violate their "policies and procedures." I pointed out that they should not have a policy that requires a customer to fix their mistake, but got no coherent response. The most frustrating part was how unnecessary this was. All they really had to do was send the missing tea. I am really shocked they have a B certification.

Stash Tea.

I received 3 flavors of Stash Tea. Raspberry Hibiscus, Ginger Peach, and Double Spice Chai. My favorite is the Wild Raspberry Hibiscus! They were all very good. Thank you Stash! I will be purchasing on my next shopping trip!

Amazing customer service!

I ordered a teapot for a friend, and it arrived with a small chip in it. I contacted Stash and sent a picture and got a response apologizing for the damage and asking if I would like a refund or replacement. 6 minutes after sending an email to ask for a replacement, I received an email from their shipping department with the tracking info for the replacement. Stash went above and beyond!

I'm a little surprised that a reputable…

I'm a little surprised that a reputable company would scam me for less than 30 bucks. I ordered some tea and only got a wrong order. They claimed it was not their product but the shipping label belonged to them. They sent me a return label with no tracking information. I questioned it but they ignored me, so I had no choice but to use the parcel label and return it. They claimed they did not receive my package. But was willing to replace, and then all of a sudden they decided not to. They refused to file a claim for the broken product I received. I basically donated 30 bucks. STAY CLEAR
