I left a previous review on 26 Aug 26 after Talk Talk issued a Contract breakage Fee over £100 after I left due to ongoing Contract Breaches regarding download and upload speeds not meeting guaranteed minimums.
They did respond saying; “…Someone will be in touch soon to discuss your concerns further.”
I have now received a `Reminder` email, dated 11 Sep 26 outlining that if I don’t pay I will incur Admin Fees, the `debt` will impact my Credit Score, my ability to borrow and maybe passed to a `debt` Collection Agency.
This `Reminder` is the only communication I have received from them despite their promise on 27 Aug 26.
Possibly TT consider these threats constitute a conversation?
As before if TalkTalk wish to “…to discuss your concerns further.” please use my TalkTalk email, otherwise please cancel the Contract Breakage Fee.

My father has been trying to get his password reset for his email with TalkTalk. 6-hour of ‘chat’ with their agents being passed from pillar to post and being lied to and still not resolved. He needs urgent access to retrieve some medical information but this has not encouraged any kind of urgency with the support teams at TalkTalk.
After 6 hours in addition to his own attempt to follow the ‘password reset’ instructions he’s just been told to hit the ‘password reset’ button! Beyond angry and feeling helpless to resolve his issue…
How someone in their 80s is supposed to get a very minor technical issue resolved while being constantly lied to is beyond me… Shame on you TalkTalk

Very poor performance over the last few monthsI am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with TalkTalk. Recently, the service has become unbearable. The internet speed is incredibly slow, and the connection is highly unstable, dropping multiple times a day. It makes working from home and streaming almost impossible. I have been a customer for a while, but the current situation is unacceptable. Very poor service.

Horrible and tragedy. Completely incompetent people. Scammers. I moved home, we moved broadband to new place. They charged me double in new please, They forgot to remove old contract. It takes months to solve problem, and still I didn't receive money back. It is crime !!!!!

I wrote a review on 29th August and TalkTalk responded ( refer to this on Trustpilot) saying a member of team would review my case, address my concerns and see they are dealt with appropriately! Nothing heard grom them! Asking why by message starts whole damn saga off again! AI generated. Would suggrst ALL customers having similar experiences with this company write to CEO for Complaints - details available via Google. Also write to Matt Alleright at BBC Watchdog! It is more than time they were fully exposed !

Court action. Total failure of internet for weeks now despite having router replaced they will now not send another engineer to deal with the physical line FAILURE. Even openreach advised the dsl had failed. Useless droning script reading agents who argue
Well I’m taking this to court and leaving this shambolic company- don’t go with them

no internet for a week now. I reported having no internet to TalkTalk 6 days ago. Every day, when I call them automated voice says that the issue has been corrected. No it has not. In order to speak to human i had to call to complaints department. Yet again, every day they reassure me that the issue will be fixed that very day. Has anyone had similar problem? Do I need to engage solicitors because I have feeling that just say anything to their customers to shut them up and do nothing to fix the problem.

This company has the worst customer relationship that I have experienced. They sent me a very threatening email headed REMINDER in large red letters saying I had to pay now to avoid *further* debt recovery, and will *continue* to be charged admin fees. Since I didn't get the original bill this wasn't even a reminder. And as a first reminder the tone is, totally unnecessarily, extremely threatening. I'm in the process of leaving TT and I thought this was the last bill.
Then a few days after paying this, I get an email saying I have a positive balance in my account, and I can apply for a refund which they will *consider*. Since my contract has finished, any reasonable company would have automatically paid me the refund.

I've had nothing but problems with them the latest is my new contract where I'm being charged more than what was agreed. I could go on but I fed up!

Would be zero if could ! NO customer service, no help, can't speak to anyone. they asked me to contact re my complaint then asked for my details a hundred times over ! Ive been overcharged and can't speak to a human! Also ridiculous 'office hours' as they only do day time..when Im at work and not free ! And believe me, you need several hours to even try and get past the bots (clue..you can't.. so why bother)
Imagine having a complaint, being told they'd resolve it if I closed it.. so I did and then they massively overcharged me by £101.. so i had to start a new complaint and nothing is resolved!

Absolutely appalling service. The staff just pass you around their Depts, no one wants to take responsibility, and only seem capable of forwarding links for forms which don't work and come up with a 404 error! They text to say they'll phone and postpone. Impossible to speak with anyone who isn't reading from a script or is remotely interested in doing a proper job. Useless - not surprised business is being broken down, more disruption and lack of service to customers.

Landline/Broadband now faulty for 30 days. Talktalk again phoned me on my landline, each time they say it was an oversight. I will say again, YOU CAN NOT CONTACT ME ON MY LANDLINE AS IT HAS BEWN FAULTY FOR 30 DAYS.
How many more weeks will I be without service and suffer missed engineer appointments?
TOTAL DISGRACE.

It would be zero if I could. Been without internet connection since Tuesday have phone customer services 6 times each to
W the previous person has not updated the notes. Been told it was an engineer who had to come out now it’s the box which they won’t replace until and engineer has been.going to be another 3-4 working days for that to happen. The actual speed of the internet is ok but customer service is diabolical. Avoid at all costs

I’m not sure why TalkTalk is often described as a cheap internet provider, because that certainly wasn’t my experience.
I was paying £32 per month for the Fibre 150 package, which I did not consider particularly cheap. Unfortunately, the router provided by TalkTalk was extremely unreliable. It would regularly crash and needed to be restarted several times a day. This made the internet service frustrating and, at times, practically unusable.
The router was also very limited in terms of connectivity. It did not have the Ethernet ports I needed, meaning that everything had to be connected via Wi-Fi. In particular, I was unable to connect an older printer to the network at all. This was a significant inconvenience, especially considering that I was paying £32 a month for the service.
I contacted TalkTalk about the problems, but the issues were not properly resolved. Eventually, I decided to move to another provider.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the way my service was disconnected. On the day of the switch, TalkTalk disconnected my internet from midnight rather than keeping the connection active until the new provider completed the Openreach switch-over. This left me without internet during the transition.
I have now moved to another provider, where I am paying £26 per month for a considerably faster connection and have been provided with a much more modern and reliable router, with proper Ethernet connectivity.
So, based on my experience, I really don’t understand why TalkTalk is considered a cheap provider. In my case, it was £32 per month for a slower service, an unreliable router and poor overall value, whereas I am now paying £26 for a faster and more reliable service.
Overall, my experience with TalkTalk was disappointing, particularly considering the price I was paying and the lack of an effective solution to the ongoing technical problems.

Set up broadband for my 90 year old mother. Absolute nightmare!! Company were shambolic in dealing with lack of connectivity and completely inconsiderate to my elderly mothers needs. Customer services were completely unhelpful, passed from pillar to post with no technical help whatsoever. Worst company I have ever dealt with for setting up broadband. Even if you do have a ten foot barge pole….. don’t touch them🤬

To reach customer service on the phone is like listening music in the radio for hours! We closed the contract-took several months! They asked me on the phone if I want to pay the outstanding balance-obviously yes. I used different card to pay nearly £200,and the next day they took the same amount of money from another card, where direct debit was set up.Have I received money back for dbl payment? OBVIOUSLY NO❗️❗️To take money from your account they are first, but to solve the problem-that’s not their role ! THE WORST COMPANY EVER We already moved to different company, I had to call my bank to start dispute resolution.😤

Have been using these guys for roughly over a year, had to phone before to get the lag ana slow internet sorted but other than that all good. Noticed the internet was going slow again at this point I've realised it's recurring every 8-12 months. For me this is enough I may be quick in that decision but there many internet providers I may as well try. So I thought okay I'll phone to see why they can offer an keep a customer. The girl I spoke to was very very tired and did not care or offer any help, I said my internet has be slow and doesn't reach the full property sometimes, instantly becomes energetic to tell me thats a different department I'll send you there, so I decide in the moment I'm done with talk talk and I sign up to a new internet provider. Little did I know the loyalty department phones hours later I've already went ans changed, now I will admit the girl was nice on the phone I was already not impressed by the service prior. I did give her a hard time but I'm very confused as to why it took me to leave and sort up a new service before I go this call, it felt very disingenuous. So I have the girl a hard time to which I shouldn't have done but I will say over all service decent but very 50/50 on customer service
