I have shopped online at Three Bridges store for some time. Deliveries are usually ok and they tell you how many drops are ahead on the app. However I gave up today and booked with Sainsburys as the... See more

Started using the Tesco delivery pass…
Started using the Tesco delivery pass recently. Disappointed isn't a strong enough word. I received items that were past their use by date, bananas come well bruised, items regularly are not available for delivery. I find it hard to believe that the number of items from each delivery that they say aren't available are actually out of stock.... rather that somebody just can't be bothered to look for them. Items such as milk and other everyday items that I have never seen out of stock in store. Not worth having because i have to go to the store anyway to get the items they said were not available. I have paid for 6 months of delivery so I will make use of it and after that I will not renew it or continue to have tescos deliver my groceries any more.
Absolute joke
Absolute joke. Almost every time i book what is supposed to be a fixed slot my shopping isn't picked until about half an hour into my slot and the delivery is always 10 minutes to half an hour late. Impossible to plan your day when you have shopping coming from these inept morons since you never know whether it will be within the slot you booked or well outside of it. That the last online tesco shop. I'm now needing to reschedule an online meeting AGAIN... BECUASE THESE IDIOTS CAN'T GET A DELIVERY SLOT RIGHT!!!

Twice now I’ve placed an order on the Tesco’s page for home delivery, two problems 1 the order is accepted 2 the payment for that order is not taken until the day of the delivery, so any problems related to payment I.E no funds in your account or any related problems the order is obviously not delivered, but that being so you them have limited time to put whatever is wrong right again on the day of delivery, in my case not related to none funds not related to anything I have done at all, my card is active all details are set on the Tesco page as has been the case for years, I go through the payment on the day of my order all accepted however on day of delivery I receive there is a problem with your payment, I have tried reinstalling my card details many times all goes in but still there is a problem with payment, I get onto the Tesco’s so called help line nice lady walks me through the process which I might add by this time I had done many times after around an hour still nothing worked, so she says well get onto your bank which I did they tell me nothing wrong there end, so I place another order all goes through payment card accepted, two days later delivery day there’s a problem with your payment, that’s it phone customer help close my account, man asks why ?not open for discussion just close my account, oh sir you have points and money owed to you, I don’t care close the account. The long and short is customer care is useless, they predominately rely on A.I .
Ordering online is rubbish
Ordering online is rubbish. Started an online shop and gradually as I checked my basket more and more items started to become unavailable, by the time I was ready to check out most of the order was out of stock and giving me replacement options. Pointless, waster of a few hours. Won’t ever be bothering again!

Text to let me know at 12.02pm that there was a payment problem, and my delivery would be cancelled unless I contacted them before 12pm (?)
Checked with my bank, and no payment was attempted.
Called Tesco to complain and ask for an explanation, and have heard nothing since. They ignored me.
Tesco's arrogance will come back and bite them one day.

Have been a loyal tesco shopper at the kings lynn store for 20 years but I have cancelled my delivery saver subscription today and ordered shopping from someone else. I am disabled so I rely on my shopping being delivered on time or at least on the day I need it. Waited for the delivery and even phoned to ask if it was still coming and was told yes it was still coming, there was just a delay. Another hour went past and when I looked on line the order simply said cancelled. Phoned again to be told they weren't able to contact the depo so no explanation given or an offer to re deliver the next day. On top of that I have got to wait up to a week for the refund. Really disappointed by the poor customer service. I've had issues a few times now so I'm going to be giving some other supermarkets a try in future

Dear Barrow In Furness , Store Manager,
I am writing to raise a concern about the current lack of manned tills at the Tesco store in Barrow-in-Furness. (hindpool rd).
During recent visits, I have found that many checkouts are self‑service, with very few staffed tills now available. This creates difficulties for customers who prefer or rely on a manned checkout, including those with larger shops, mobility issues, accessibility needs, or simply those who are uncomfortable using self‑service machines.
Today I was stood 6 deep at a manned till and spoke to another customer behind me in the queue, with learning difficulties, who said last week he had to queue for nearly an hour.
Today some customers were waiting for well over 15 to 20 minutes at 3pm ish.
I would appreciate it if the store could review the availability of manned tills, particularly during busy periods, to ensure that all customers have a suitable checkout option.
Unless Tesco has become two tier as well.
I would welcome an increase in manned tills.
Flu jab
I have experienced abysmal service. I booked a private flu vaccination several weeks ago at the Tesco Beccles pharmacy for this morning - 0930, 14/09/2026. This was confirmed. I received a reminder email yesterday further confirming the appointment.
I arrived for my appointment to be informed that the pharmacy could not provide the vaccination, that they would not be able to provide any flu jabs before end of Oct’26, and that ‘head office’ had been told but had done nothing about this !
Tesco Marketplace Nightmare
Made the mistake of buying through Tesco Marketplace. Assumed their suppliers were vetted and of good standing. Purchased a blow up mattress that was faulty - used once and requested return. The returns process has been a nightmare and more than 3 months on from my purchase, no refund or comms from HSI Global. Tesco's support has been unsatisfactory and I regret using Tesco Marketplace. Certainly will not do so again.

Consider changes to current location of zero alcohol drinks.
Tesco
I’m a support worker for a vulnerable young person who battles alcohol dependence and anxiety as well as other medical challenges. Recently they made the brave decision to cut their alcohol intake. One of our strategies is to use alcohol free substitutes and cbd drinks to help curb the cravings.
To my utter disappointment we discovered that all of these drinks are in the alcohol section of Tesco and other stores we visited.
How are these drinks supposed to help people make better choices when they are literally among the very problem they are trying to avoid?
Surely someone has realised how inconsiderate and downright cruel it is to force people like my client to walk through these isles to be able to purchase anything non alcoholic or cbd drinks.
What is your end goal? It certainly is to support your customers. I’m really upset for my client and others, who are trying to make better choices for their life only to be faced with the dilemma created by stores.
Create a drinks isle with cbd, alcohol free and other drinks designed to support better life choices. You do it for gluten free, dairy free , vegan, vegetarian, babies etc. time you got your thinking caps on to really make a difference to real people with real challenges wanting to make real changes.
Tesco are delivering fresh food with extremely short use by dates.
I’ve been having a home delivery from Tesco since the beginning of the pandemic, over 6 years ago. I always had lots of fruit in my orders. Until now. It’s not just that the fruit is of poorer quality, it’s the very short dates on them.
In this week’s delivery, I had ordered salmon and king prawns. But they had to be returned, because they had to be used by tomorrow. It was the same last week too. I really cannot see the point of Tesco delivering food which because of the extremely short dates on them, customers will refuse.
If it carries on in this disgraceful manner, then I shall have no other option than to cancel their delivery service and use a different supermarket delivery service - which I rely on, being housebound.
Tesco online groceries and value for money terrible
We normally do our grocery shopping at Sainsbury's and buy the same items every time, so we know exactly what our usual shop costs.
We decided to try Tesco online delivery and were extremely disappointed. We received 31 items for £89 including delivery, packed into three small brown bags.
By comparison, our usual Sainsbury's shop was 44 items for £92, packed into two huge reusable bags plus one small bag. In fact, all three of Tesco's bags would comfortably fit into one of the large Sainsbury's bags.
For us, there was absolutely no financial benefit to shopping online with Tesco. We paid almost the same amount for considerably less shopping.
This was a terrible experience and we won't be using Tesco online groceries again.
Hazardous avocados
I don't know why I'm lured in every time when it comes to the "perfectly ripe" avocados. They're never ripe. they're everything but ripe, they're a perfectly effective way of spoiling someone's breakfast on a Sunday morning. Its like a trying to bite into a car tyre. You're just conning people into spending more. It's a 1st world problem I understand, there's devastation happening across the world, but c'mon! Stop having people's eyes out, or teeth in this case. Product recall needed.
TESCO Oak Tree Lane
TESCO Oak Tree Lane, Mansfield, Notts; Two weeks ago today, my scheduled home delivery order did not arrive (see previous reviews below) with no phone call, text or email to explain why (turns out this was due to being short-staffed & my order having to be 'split between the other drivers' & hope for the best) today, the exact same thing has happened again!!!!
I rang Customer services - yet again & spoke to yet another incompetent member of staff called 'Nathan' who rang the store & assured me that my delivery was DEFINITELY going to be delivered thod evening - it wasn't!!!
A manager won't be calling me back because I guarantee, like before with the other uneducated members of the customer service team - they dom't care nor do they have a single shred of decency between them!
'Nathan' won't have put any notes on my account like he stated or escalated the issue to anyone in authority - he alao said that he has instructed the driver to give me a courtesy call to explain when my order would arrive - I was not contacted! So, now, yet again, I'm going to have to call customer service & again, sort this issue myself!
I rang again on the Sunday morning and spoke to 'Bianca' who made notes on my account & stated she would escalate it to a manager, this was at 8.45am. By almost noon I still hadn't been contacted, so again, I rang the store and spoke to 'Dola' who stated that the manager had tried to call me on a number that wasn't even mine. I have him the correct number as nobody over the last 2 weeks has clarified my contact details with me & he assured he would flag it as urgent - 3hrs later I still had not been called. I then rang again for the 4th time since Satirday evening and spoke to 'Ahmed' who stated there was a note added to my account 15 minutes earlier which stated 'If the customer calls back please contact the mananger' so despite my clarifying my contact number 3hrs before, 'Dola' had obviously failed to raise this again. I've had to place an emergency order with Deliveroo in the mean time as the only slot I could get today was at 6pm & I had limited food. On top of that I've also spent a fortune on all of the calls I've had to make, around 8 or 9 to customer services. A manager finally called back 'Nicole' nowhere near as professional or compassionate as 'Claire' 2 weeks before & I felt rushed off the phone with a £30 good will gesture. She also refunded my order that failed to arrive & refunded the £5 minimum basket charge. I questioned why there was no effective work around for when delivery drivers call in sick rather than to have them share it amongst other drivers, inconvenience customers & 'hope for the best' I wasn't met with a valid response. A very 'tick box' conversation from 'Nicole' & very rushed.
It's going to take a lot more than a pathetic £30 gesture of goodwill this time!
DO NOT use TESCO Oak Tree Lane, find a decent, reliable supermarket with delivery drivers that don't constantly ring in sick because TESCO clearly don't have any logical plan that doesn't inconvenience their customers but what they do have, is the most uneducated & down right pathetic, unprofessional members of staff within the customer service team!!!!!!!
I am absolutely taking this matter higher along with the same incident two weeks ago - the calls have all been recorded & I expect to be heavily compensated!! I will be writing an email to the CEO Ken Murphy to see if he values his customers & will update with his response
A response from 'Tracey' who claims to be a 'Customer Service Specialist of the Executives Office' stated in a nutshell 'You've had enough compensation with the Gesture of Goodwill & its your responsibility to ensure your numbers correct'... my response
'This is the response I expected - that you would give an insincere apology & completely ignore the question regarding your poor contingency plan when your drivers ring in sick & where the customers suffer - absolutely ridiculous!
You also put the blame back onto me when I explained in my email that the delivery drivers HAD my contact number as they had rung me several times previously weeks before & as the manager stated 'The drivers have your correct number but the call centre doesn't' which was my whole point proving you skim-read my email & failed to address my question of why the drivers did not call when the HAVE my contact number.
You also chose to ignore that you were in breach of contract of both the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Section 28 & 49) & The Consumer Contracts Regulations Act 2013 - which demonstrates that as a company you do not take responsibility for your errors'
Refusing to apologise for their poorly trained staff who need retraining, no taking responsibility for the wrong information I was given, for not updating my contact details or selatibg my refunds! Avoid TESCO at all costs - absolute joke!
I purhased the 4 boneless salmon…
I purhased the 4 boneless salmon fillets and they are full of bones. Very very disappointed about tesco quality control. I have pictures ahowing what we got. We have been shppong with tesco for 10 years and i think its time for a change. I have all supporting pictures
Think about the consequences
I booked a delivery for today, it was cancelled with a note saying I could pick it up. The reason I asked for delivery is not an option, it’s a necessity. I have lost eyesight in one eye, the DVLA have cancelled my driving licence. I can’t pick a shop up, it needs to be delivered. I looked to see if they have a policy for helping people like me like electricity/water etc a priority service but can’t find one. Get a grip Tesco
Tesco Hove is a bad one
Tesco Hove is a bad one. I think that Tesco was set up to extort funds from people through parking charges.
