I ordered customized Golf Balls in June of this year (on or around the 13th). I asked to have "I Like to play with my balls" engraved on them for a VERY AVID sports enthusiast. Almost 40 days later...and numerous phone calls to check the status, I got a phone call telling me that what I wanted printed was deemed INAPPROPRIATE for the golf BALLS that I ordered. I did not place an order for ONE BALL, but MULTIPLE BALLS. I was told by Chelsea Farmer of TGW that it was NIKE who would not print the balls. I contacted Nike, and was told that it was NOT NIKE, but TGW that found my engraving to be "OFFENSIVE". If TGW find the word BALLS offensive, then maybe NIKE, who's slogan is JUST DO IT, and prints things like "Run Like you Stole Something", "Kiss my sass", "Smoke 'em" and "The Twins" on there clothing is a business they may want to reconsider doing business with. If the word BALLS is offensice to TGW maybe, the should considering getting out of sports memorablia all together as BALLS are representative of MULTIPLE sports, Golf, baseball, football, volley ball, soccer and so on. GROW UP AND GET YOUR OWN MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER. Or better yet, maybe if you weren't busy playing with your own balls...you may consider someone elses FAMILY JOKE...just that...A JOKE!
I ordered a golf bag but have yet to recieve it. I have called company 3 times but get the same answer that they are in process of shipping it. 1 week later I still wait for my bag or a call back from caompany to get my refund. Would never do business with TGW again. No wonder their prices are good, they don't ship you anything!
I had a few questions about the items I was looking to buy and the Customer Service rep I spoke to was very knowledgeable about the products. Ordering through their website is very easy and customer friendly. Order arrived in 3 days! I did have to return 1 item because of fit and again had to call customer service. They walked me through the return process online and helped me order a replacement item. The exchange was very simple and they gave me free shipping both ways for the return. I was a bit leary to order because I have heard some bad reviews but this ordering experience was everything I could want and more. I will definately be ordering more from TGW and I will recommend this site to all of my golfing buddies.
Great prices. BUT, listed as in stock doesn't mean it's in stock. Twice now have had items cancelled because it's no longer in stock. Even though the website lists it, and the confirmation email listed it as in stock. Supposedly free shipping, not given at checkout. Emailing back and forth with support is an ABSOLUTE joke.
Bought a stand bag on May 11, 2010. Received bag May 13, was damaged upon arrival. Generated return through website and dropped of at UPS facility same day of delivery. They received return on the 18th. Today is May 26th, still no credit. Have now called 4 times, spoken with reps, supervisors, etc... Keep telling me credit will be issued today... I will NEVER do business with this company again!
I could not be happier with TGW. My most recent purshased were the new Callaway FT-IZ driver and Cleveland T-Bar putter. Both arrived in mint condition and I even had trade-ins for both purchases. TGW gave me more for my trade-ins than I ever would have gotten from GS. I've even ordered a rangefinder on a Thursday that arrived on Friday, (next day delivery option) and the money I saved on not paying taxes on the purchase more than covered the shipping cost.
I purchased several pairs of shorts, several shirts, and other misc golf equipment from TGW. I did not like one of the shirts and one of the shorts did not fit. I returned them to TGW. Weeks later they show up back at my house with a note that they had either been worn or washed and smelled of deodorant, body spray, or fabric softener. I tried these items on and took them off. If they could detect a smell that's they were shipped to me. I could not smell anything. I called their customer service and was pretty much blown off. Basically called me a liar. A letter to their CEO never was responded to. I will never shop at TGW again.

Their return policy is a joke. They take your money when product is shipped. And should you return the product good luck in getting a credit in a timely fashion or a all.

Bought 2 wedges that were shipped with both the heads packed in the same direction. One club head cut as gouge in the back of the other one. I returned both of them and was later called by customer service and was told I could not get a credit since both clubs had been played with. Well I live in
N E Indiana and recieved these clubs for Christmas, so there is no way I played with these clubs. I spoke to 3 different customer service reps and was told the clubs would be sent back to me. Well now 2 weeks later I still don't have the clubs and the charge is still on my credit card. BUYER BEWARE
