A business with a conscience, and yet reliable !
This was my first time in dealing with the Drink shop, not only did they check my age to ensure that I was old enough to purchase my Filfar, but they were so friendly. My dealings with them were excellent and I will be buying from them again. Delivery date was agreed and it was delivered on time.
I recommend them to anyone.

Cherry pickin' choice!
Ever since tasting a Long Sailor Jerry Iced Tea, made using cherry vodka, I've been on the lookout for a decent one to try 'neat' as it were.....and found it's surprisingly difficult to track down in the usual outlets. So I turned to trusty Drinkshop and was not disappointed.
I ordered 2 different ones, only just managing to avoid being sidetracked by all of the other delicious flavoured and limited edition vodka on offer-BAD Drinkshop, I have to work to a budget!!
Anyways, vodka duly arrived on the day promised and I have to say- wowser!! Excellent choices, lived up to their billing.
I shall be visiting the website again soon, but in the meantime, cherry vodka over ice-very nice.....

You immediately solved my order issue for me! You didn't question me at all when i said i hadn't received my goods and called me back very quickly having located them! You also put them straight back out for delivery and i even received a follow up call to make sure i'd received them! Thank you!!
Aside from the delivery issue (which obviously isn't your fault) the selection to chose from is immense! Great shop, easy to buy from and fabulous customer service!

I thought I had been robbed!
Happy with the goods but not with the financial procedures. I have been registered for some years but never noticed before that my money was taken before despatch of the goods. This may have been due to the goods being out of stock. On receipt of my bank statement, I did ring to check and was told that, unlike the majority of retailers, this one takes your money upon order and not upon despatch. Be warned.

This is the norm in e-commerce operations. Should we receive a cancellation for any reason, the funds are refunded quickly. Yes, you ordered your item whilst available to pre-order, with an expected delivery date in the future.

Efficient and suitably careful
I only ordered one bottle of beer but it came quickly and was well packaged, i.e. I was treated as well as I imagine customers with bigger purchases are.
I got one bottle of Viru, an Estonian beer that I discovered in Callooh Callay in Shoreditch. I got it because of the cool triangular shape, I painted it white and it is now a vase with some light brown dried bullrushes in it. Obviously I drank the beer first and it was very nice, subtle and light.

I love this site, only place that I know to get a bottle of Agwa, and sent right to your door always on the day stated. Could not be any better definitely would recommend to anybody who craves a hard to get drink!!!

Good but no way to amend orders
A really good site with an excellent selection and prompt delivery.
My only grumble is that if you want to add anything to an existing order if you have forgotten something, there is no way you can do this which means you get stung for shipping charges twice...

Good range of drinks but customer service and delivery times could be better
I bought a bottle of brandy and a gift box on a Sunday. I was called 3 days later to be told that the box was not big enough for the bottle which I found odd as it was one of the suggested packaging methods. If I wanted the larger box I was told I would have to pay another £1.42. There are several issues here - why does the website match products that are not compatible, why did it take 3 days to tell me and why not just match the product to the suitable packaging and post it. It must have cost more in phone calls and work time to call me and charge me the £1.42. Was it really worth it? I had already spent £42.19 if it as my company I'd realise it was my mistake and swallow the loss of £1.42.

We should not be asking customers to pay the difference for our mistakes and apologise for the inconvenience caused. All customer service staff have been made aware of your review to ensure we don't make the same mistake again.
There should not be any bottles with the wrong sized box options and we are in the process of checking these options.

OK only on this order. They delivered me a sirup which was not what I had ordered. I contacted them, and the resent the right bottle.
My 3rd or 4th order with The Drink Shop.
Delivery was perfect the previous times. This time, one of the bottles I had order, a sirup, had been replaced by another one (mine was out of stock apparently). In itself it isn't a totally bad initiative, but I would have preferred to be contacted before, since I wouldn't have gone for this replacement.
So I contacted them, they called me back, and since I wasn't in a hurry, they shipped me my bottle once they had restocked it.

Quality Products supported by Quality Service
I've used this company twice and I will hopefully be using them again. So easy to use which is maybe not their first quality as that may lie in the range of products. My first stop.
Love this company!! They are my first stop for my all my drinking needs. They have a wide range with unusual products (some of which I have partaken). It's well packaged.
Recently I was looking a special birthday gift, for a very special person. Found several, which was narrowed down to the one. Ordered it, picked the delivery date. All I had to do was wait for a text message from a very excited 'Birthday Girl'!!

Brilliant service. I bought a present for an 80th birthday present. Unfortunately my friends were away at the time of delivery. They left a note to contact them when they were back and they made the delivery. Very impressed would definitely use again.
