Myself and partner were awaiting a delivery on her passport which was expected on Thursday 14th November 2013, we were due to fly out Friday 15th Nov 2013 at 13.50pm. The delivery never materialised on that day, this was due to miss information of delivery options by the Embassy. Who never gave us the option to collect ourselves, even though that option is avaliable and would of been more convenient as we live 20 mins away. After Frantic phone calls from 7am on the flight day and being redirected to DX delivery. We were extremely fortunate to speak to Nikala at DX, who i can only describe a our Angel sent from heaven. She went far beyond her call of duty and managed to arrange for us to pick up the passport from their London branch. We managed to check in with 10mins left before the Departure gate was closed. Thanks to Nikala's exemply actions we got to have our first holiday together. Thank you DX, Great service.
My parcel was meant to be delivered yesterday but it wasn't. Decided to get in touch with DX via Facebook as the line was busy. Got a response this morning. Sent an email with my details and tracking info. Had a phone call back this morning saying to call a .... number. So rang it and thankfully it was answered within 30 seconds. Spoke to a nice lady who said she will sort it out and someone will call me back. Had a call 20 mins later. The lady apologised and said the parcel will be with me before 1.30PM. Reason why it wasn't delivered yesterday was that the driver couldn't find my location. Got my parcel by 1PM today, the driver was lost so rang me for directions. He could of done that yesterday too but I guess he didn't have my number. I can't fault DX customer services as they were helpful, polite and sorted my issue quickly. I can only fault the driver.
Getting parcels delivered to work post room is a real bonus, however I have had trouble with parcels going missing from a couple of others, One I believe had forged my signature.
DX is far more professional, I phoned as our post room shuts at 4.30, and asked for the driver to call if he delivers after that time, low and behold a phone call just after 3, and the driver met me on site, I couldn't ask for any better. Companies need to use DX, A lot less haste and good relationships maintained with with customers. Full Gold stars for care and customer service. Well done.
Sitting in the lounge, I watched as Dx personnel simply dropped off the calling card and left without even attempting to knock or press the bell. There were 2 cars parked in my driveway and I even turn on the lights so that they can see someone is home.
I received an email the day before the date they delivered my tickets, saying they would deliver my tickets the next day between 8am and 6pm. A signature was required so I arranged to stay in. At 9am I noticed an envelope on my doorstep - my tickets. So my tickets arrived safely, and on the right day, which is all great, but why say you need a signature if you don't? Seems I could have gone out after all. Make up your minds: do you want the item signed for, or not?
I applied for a passport....then moved house. BIG mistake. The courier tried to deliver it to the address i applied from, my old place. Couldn't deliver it as the new owner had none of my ID. I try to change the delivery to my new address online. Not possible. They don't deliver to a second residential address. Try to deliver to my work address. Not possible. The passport office would need to approve the movement of my passport from Livingston to Glasgow! That could take days. Why can't i just supply you with my new address and rearrange delivery. It's my passport. It's got my picture in it. I can show the courier to prove it's me! This is a simple delivery being turned into a sag for no sensible reason!!!!!
I applied for a Schengen visa and the VFS told me the passport has been sent back but when I tried to track my delivery I just found that 'CALLING CARD LEFT AS DELIVERY UNSUCCESSFUL'. I even didn't know when the delivery comes because I haven't receive any phone calls. And I failed to call the DX because no one answered the phone.. Could you reply me as soon as possible because my flight is tomorrow but I think it is impossible to get my boarding card without my lovely passport.
If I were to put it into hours, about 22 hours of my life have been wasted waiting for DX to turn up to collect an item, and chasing DX via telephone and email and I still haven't had my item collected. It's bad that they do not turn up, but it is so much worse when they do not get in contact, and it takes on average about 50-60 mins to get in contact with them over the phone. For a while I wasn't sure the phones were manned at all, as I waited around for about 30 mins and hung up a few times, but then decided I wasn't going to hang up until I got through, it took over an hour. To make things worse, when I got through to them the first time, I was accidently cut-off after about a minute and had to do it all again.
They also haven't replied to an email were I explained the above.
