I ordered four items to be personalized. I ended up receiving four screwed up items. Two were not even the right ITEM, and all four were wrongly personalized (mis-spellings, and on one item we even cut the item of another couple!). I assumed that theknot would deal with this adequately. I was told that they would re-ship, I could wait another 5 weeks for my items, and that they would take 10% off my order. I had originally ordered it with a 15% off coupon, so they essentially were trying to charge me MORE for their mess up and the inconvienient delay! I tried to explain this, but they were impervious to reason. I could not believe this. They also kept saying they would place the order, and delayed longer. STAY AWAY from their store. It's over priced and poor quality (from what I saw), and customer service stinks!
Theknot.com may have useful tools for our weddings, but buyers beware! I bought sale items from them that they never shipped, and never told me that they were canceled!
I had to rush to find disposable cameras with 20 days left before my wedding. I never got an updated invoice from them, and when I asked, they sent me a dollar amount in my email that wasn't the same as what they charged me - and still no invoice! The response by customer service was "oh yeah, we canceled the item, and we don't send a notice. thanks!"
TheKnot.com is the only wedding vendor I've worked with that actually stressed me out, and for what they are supposed to be, I'm terribly disappointed. I copy/pasted their checklist into a word document, and my Budget Planner is Excel. If they can't get my invoice correct, why would I want them to work out my budget???
There is no benefit that outweighs poor service. I will not use theknot anymore.
