communication was first class and promt actions.
I found this website whilst looking for some plastic sheeting. I found the site so easy to use and helped me acheive my selections with ease. Value for money and perfect to have samples sent to me for my ongoing projects. As a fine artist the project i am completing will be veiwed by crowds of people and thankyou for making the search for clear mirrored plastic was incredably helpful.

Couldnt be more helpful if they tried!
After the order was placed I recieved a phone call to inform me there would be a short delay in supplying the required size tube, to which I replied there was no problem with this. Later I recieved another phone call stating there would be a lengthy delay due to it being out of stock at their suppliers and they offered me other sizes which would be suitable. This resulted in a lower cost and I now have enough for spares! Quick delivery and superb service.

Expensive on postage
Goods fine, expensive on postage on the smaller items.
The packing was damaged by courier who, as we were on the telephone decided to disappear very quickly before the goods were examined, apart from the goods were undamaged.
I pesonall could do with a smaller size than your smallest of 5mm, hiwever I have purchased enough to last me a while, I will have to turn the "Carp" down to the required size.

I'm sorry that you experienced a problem with our couriers when you were accepting delivery - but relieved to hear that that your order was received in good condition despite the damaged packaging.
You've also queried the carriage cost regarding your order, and I can confirm that the actual cost we were charged by TNT for delivering your consignment was £6.25 + VAT (excluding packaging materials). The charge on your order was £8.00 + VAT. When taking the packaging and administration costs into account - I hope you'll agree this is a fair charge.
On most orders, particularly with large sheets and higher value orders, our current fixed rates of carriage are only a small contribution to the actual costs incurred in packing and shipping - but overall I am confident they represent a fair compromise.
Finally, you mentioned a requirement for a smaller diameter. The manufacturer can produce a 3mm or 4mm diameter rod machined from sheet, but this may be subject to minimum order quantities and a manufacturing lead time. Should this be of interest, please let me know and I will confirm full details for you.

Great service with samples delivery.
We were looking for opal / opaque acrylics as a surface for painting. The plastic shop has cost effective samples for "prototype work" - bit more experimenting to do before moving ahead!

Great Customer service over the phone and when there was a small issue with the product arriving with some minor damage (happened in transit I suspect), the issue was very quickly resolved. Great Service, I would definitely use them again!

Star Service
I wanted a non-standard supply and they were only too happy to help. Cloe Garner (Sales) deserves special praise. She replied by return that she could supply and took payment over the phone. The items arrived on time, cut to size and well packaged.
I made a similar enquiry for an item (not stocked here) from a site with a VERY similar name. After 4 days they said they could supply and to reply if I wanted them to work out postage, I did so. Five days later I sent another 'mail asking for a reply as I hadn't had one. Five days from that, I've given up on them!
I'm putting together another order from this site at this time. Deal with confidence, I do.

I bought a 8'x4' mirror from the plasticshop and was treated very well by the girl who told me the best mirror to have. Top marks as to the service and delivery within 2 days I was up and running and cannot fault them, Thanks again.

An aweful service! Do not recommend it!
The online customer assistant lied to me that she tried to contact me regarding my urgent order! I received it 2 weeks after the purchase and on the website it is claimed it should take 2-3days. Highly disappointed!

I'm very sorry that we have not met with your expectations on this occasion.
I've investigated how we processed your order after you had placed it online on 30th April. We sent you an email at 8.53am on the 1st May (the next day) to confirm that the small sizes you ordered had been input correctly. The notes on your order also record a telephone message was left on your voicemail. This is part of our contract review procedure when the sizes are relatively small/unusual. We received no reply, until you contacted us by telephone on 3rd May chasing your order.
Following this call, and after confirming the sizes were correct, we sent you our order acknowledgement on 3rd May, advising an estimated despatch date of 7th May. Unfortunately, there was an additional and unavoidable one day delay which meant that your order was not actually despatched until 8th May, and subsequently delivered at 10.43am on 9th May.
So, from the day you placed your order on the 30th April, to us despatching it on the 8th May was 5 working days. When taking into account that we didn't actually receive confirmation that the sizes input were correct until 3rd May, the time to despatch was 3 working days. I'm a little confused that you are interpreting this as two weeks from your purchase date, but understand your frustration if you had expectations of receiving sooner.
Please accept my apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.

I'm really sorry that you've not yet received your order - I can see that we contacted you by email on the same day you placed your order to request confirmation of any cutting requirements you may need.
I can't see that we've had a response from you thereafter, but nor have we attempted to contact you again. I'm not really sure why this hasn't happened, as the person who was dealing with your order has taken an extended holiday over the Bank Holiday weekend so I can't investigate further (but will once they are back in the office)
As per your email conversation with Chloe, we've now refunded your order in full as per your request.

Highly Professional Service
I was very impressed that when I first enquired about the use of perspex for some protective rails in my kitchen I was sent a very comprehensive manual on everything you would ever want to know about perspex - I was interested in its drilling properties.
Then after I placed my order they checked with me to make sure the long thin strips I required was correct and that I hadn't mis-typed the dimensions. The perspex arrived well packaged, was exactly correct in size and is now in place on the walls. I wanted a clear material for these rails to not disrupt the colour of the wall. These rails look modern and stylish - so all in all I am very pleased I used this company. Highly recommended.

Much better than the crap on eBay
i used the plastic shop for mirror acrylic that i cut and routered for guitar back plates. i made some using stuff from eBay and it was all pitted and the mirror backing kept flacking off, this stuff i bought from these guys was robust, cheap (in price) and looked amazing. i will use again!

Mirror, mirror on the wall......
1st time order with theplasticshop.co.uk. Easy to use website. Next day delivery. Mirror was well and securely packaged. Very pleased with the acrylic mirror so far. Yes, you do get some visual distortion (even with the 6mm mirror thickness) the further back you stand from the mirror but as it has been purchased for use in a shower room as a shaving/vanity mirror, it is not an issue. Overall, very happy with the service and the product.

Excellant service, ordering and speedy delivery
The complete process was very easy, quick call the the PlasticShop (it helped that I had looked at their website earlier and knew the sort of thing that I wanted), quickly explaiend what I wanted and the cut size required. They gave me the price for the cut material there and then. Clear delivery cost, I could have picked it up if I was close.
I rang in the afternoon of Tuesday about 4:0pm and it arrived thursday morning.
The packaging was robust and supported the palstic - so NO risk of damage in transit, corners also had protectors on (as they are obviously a bit more sussceptibel to damage.
All in all, easy, quick and worry free !
