unbelievable service!
Following a devasting house fire, our home is almost back together.Now to the finer decoration, we ordered from the poles company one dinnertime, i missed the delivery the next morning not expecting such quick service! lucky our neighbours took delivery.
Everything as shown and described on website, well pleased, would definately reccommend

Exactly what i wanted.
I was after some dark wood curtain poles, and was unsure about colour match so ordered some samples. I received my samples a couple of days later - some of them were not the samples I'd asked for, but one was a very good match so I ordered the poles. Delivery of the poles was extremely quick and they were exactly what I wanted - no trouble putting them up and they look great. I'd definitely order from this company again.

Great Service
Even after I place the order, they sent me an email saying that they were reducing the carriage charge because it was only a small order. I have never had that happen before . I would certainly recommend them to anyone

Great quality poles. Prompt delivery too
The poles are of a great quality, although the screws weren't the best quality we have seen (just needed to replace them with some of our own).
Unfortunately the courier delivered the package to the wrong address. Luckily a neighbour sussed out who it was really for and dropped them round to us.

Excellent customer service and products.
I bought parts to create a curtain pole to fit an awkward bay window. The poles company had a very full range and were very competitively priced. There was a small error in the packing with one too many of one product and not enough of another, however I telephoned and the error was rectified with the part arriving the next day. This was all at no cost to me and with friendly and polite service.

Great service with fast delivery.
I finally found some end hooks that suited my swish curtain rail and a pair of lovley chrome curtain tie backs in the "Sale" section which were just what I was looking for and such great value as I had seen the same elsewhere at twice the price! Ordering was so easy and delivery was very quick. Great service from a company that I will use again plus recommend to others and put in my shortcuts for future use.

a first class product and service thats poles apart
Found the site from a google search, which had the range of curtain poles we were considering. A winning touch was offering to send sample rings to help us choose on the colours, which were in the post within 24 hours. Very competitive on price and the package itself was also delivered the day after placing the order. Good quality fittings and it looks great to.

Fantastic service and great quality
We ordered 4 wooden poles which arrived extremely promptly and were of a very good quality and easy to fit. The quality far exceeded that a similar product from a major DIY chain which we had unfortunately also purchased, they were so much easier to fit and much sturdier. We are already planning to order some more!

good service....poor product!
I ordered a curtain pole which for the price, I was expecting to be solid oak, however, when it arrived i was very disappointed to find it was cheap softwood, stained an oak colour!
I could have bought something very similar for a fraction of the price. NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

We are sorry to learn of your disappointment - the product description does not claim it is oak and does state it is "mid oak colour" in both the headline and Specification details. The description also says "The materials used are FSC produced from well managed forests & re-cycled wood or fibre". We are sorry if the information provided to help you make your choice failed you. Of course the goods could have been returned under our 30-day money back policy. In contrast members of staff who have purchased this product have provided very positive feedback about it. The best personal customer service I've ever had
Having never bought curtain poles before, I found the whole process quite baffling. I was buying for a large bay window, amongst others, and had many questions; how many rings, would the pole support the heavy curtains we have, what size would I need etc. All my emails were answered promptly by Michael and the whole process was made simpler and less stressful. The selection available is vast and with such top class customer service I would recommend ThePolesCompany to anybody.

The excellent website didn't clearly say what delivery I might expect for my long curtain rail, so I phoned and was answered very promptly. Very helpful advice and an assurance they would do what they could to expedite a speedy despatch. Goods arrived in 4 days and were able to be installed immediately. Very pleased and highly recommend this supplier!

The experience of buying the product and customer service was great. The product it self is of high quality and does what says on the tin. However, delivery service confusing and poor. We got our product a day late (which we had to take another day off).
Overall we are very happy with the product but would advise a different delivery company.

Fabulous Item.

Quality product and service.
I found Thepolescompany on an internet search for the large diameter curtain poles. I found a good selection and the items ordered were delivered within 2 days! I even ordered another curtain pole a week later having been so impressed with the quality and service. The polescompany did not let me down.
I ordered the 50mm in oak and the 45mm in cream, both with matching holdbacks and extra rings.
If I had to say one thing negative it would be the cream rings. They are more plastic looking then wood.

First rate service, second rate product
Service from thepolescompany was excellent, delivery prompt, but no additional packaging to that provided by the manufacturer. The product - Rolls Woodline by Hallis Hudson Group - was mediocre. It really is pathetic that they think a small double ended woodscrew going into the endgrain is adequate to secure the finials. One of the small screws securing the pole in position on its brackets broke as it was being driven home (by hand) and it was with great difficulty that the broken piece was extracted and a decent quality screw substituted.

Excellent delivery - couldn't have been quicker.
I ordered a curtain track and a pack of gliders late afternoon on the Wednesday and the complete order was received on Friday - the track by courier and the gliders by first class post. Absolutely excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Good price but quality not assured
My pole was slightly damaged on arrival but unfortunately I could not send it back as there is a rule that I should have examined it whilst the delivery man was there - did not do this as had a crying baby in the background and the delivery man seemed impatient - terrible rule that the company has about this and it's obvious they have this rule to minimise returns

We are sorry we did not know about this problem until the review to have an opportunity to rectify the problem and equally sorry for any misinterpretation in our dispatch advice which may have given our customer the impression there was nothing they could do. We always want to know as soon as possible if there is a problem and always endeavour to resolve it. We would never adopt any sharp practices to "get out" of any issues arising - indeed we strive always for best practice and best customer service. The reported problem has now also been amicably resolved. In the light of how our dispatch advise was interpreted on this occasion, we have amended it to avoid any similar occurrence.
