This company took an old guy's eyesight and pocket problems told him everything he needed to send them. Waved a wand and provided him with an affordable pair of fit first time specs that only a couple of online makers can handle. I was ordering my 2nd pair for Reglaze, and also had a new Script. I was unsure exactly what lenses I had before, so e-mailed a list of all boxs I had entered. Ash confirmed my choices, and also advised of of a slight increase in lenses. So I was confident in submitting the form and Payment. He was very helpful from start to finish of the order. I have a highly complex prescription and have had a lot of difficulty with high-street opticians meeting my needs. The glasses I had previously were thinned down but they also cut off my peripheral vision and I was told there were no other options. I got in contact with ThinLenses via email and they were incredibly helpful, advising me on which frames and lens index would meet both my needs and preferences. They also came up £200 cheaper than the price quoted for less suitable glasses from the opticians on the high street! I placed my order and received my glasses within 10 days, perfectly matched to my prescription, no unusual lens curvature, just perfect! I couldn't recommend ThinLenses enough if you have a high or complex prescription, and don't be afraid to contact them ahead of placing an order as their customer service is impeccable.

I'm 67 and have always used the usual high street opticians, but the cost of my high prescription lens glasses led me to look elsewhere. I will admit that I was quite apprehensive about ordering glasses on-line, there were many 'what ifs' in my head but I decided to give it a go. The web site is very good, upload a pic' of your face and you can try on numerous frames. I didn't know my pupil distance, but once again, upload a pic' and they will tell you. Ash answered all my questions promptly and soon put my mind at rest. One of the great things about ordering on-line is that you do everything in your own time and at your own pace, there is non of that slightly rushed feeling that you get when you're choosing glasses in the high street opticians. From ordering, my glasses took approx' 12 days to arrive by tracked postage. My glasses are just lovely, so well made with perfect optics - even the case and packaging has a quality feel to it. I don't impress easily but I can honestly say that from start to finish, ThinLenses service has been outstanding and I will definitely used them again. Thoroughly recommended.

I have a high prescription and need varifocals. The thickness of the lenses is unattractive and my optician only had limited options. I took a chance on ThinLenses and am very glad I did. I firstly bought a pair of double aspheric sunglasses which Ash kindly rushed through in time for my holiday. I have today received my 1.9 glass clear lens glasses, again received very quickly and am extremely happy with the. They are certainly more aesthetically pleasing than anything I could obtain on the high street. Ash has been a pleasure to deal with and everything was straightforward and professional. I am myopic, my prescription is -6.75 with a varifocal prescription and monocular vision. In desperation I contacted ThinLenses for glass 1.9 lenses. Fabulous! I now have the clarity through glass that I had in my youth, (aware of the pros and cons of glass) I will forever return to ThinLenses for their glass lenses. The online service and a follow up personalised customer service gave all round satisfaction.

I’m so happy with my new glasses. I wear a plus prescription (+5.75) and have never been happy with my glasses from high street opticians. I hate the magnification of my eyes. I spoke to Thin Lenses and they recommended double aspheric lenses. They make such a difference to eye magnification and also I have better vision (less distorted at the sides). I used their reglaze service as I don’t live near them. My glasses fit perfectly! Thank you Thin Lenses I’ll definitely be back for my next pair 😊

I have a very high prescription and the quote given for reglazing my current frames by my highstreet optician was so high I had no choice but to look elsewhere.
