Unbeleivably good value

I signed up for the 7 day free trial and managed to acquire the footage I needed so I cancelled my subscription without issue.

I then required more footage, bought the $99 package and have to say that Video Blocks is by far the best value stock footage online. For $99 PER YEAR I can download as much as I need, and when you see the prices Pond5 charge (sometimes $150 PER CLIP) or Getty Images (over $500 a clip on occasion), Video Blocks is a no brainer.

Sure some of the footage is old and unusable, and generally lower quality than Pond5 or Getty but for the occasional stock footage hunter like myself, Video Blocks Rocks!

VideoBlocks.com 'Free Trial' Scam

The terms and conditions have a hidden clause despite implication everywhere else that you won't be billed. I am in the process of attempting to get a refund for some of the money they stole from me through their deception. Yes, I feel stupid but If I get nothing back from them, I don't have a problem writing a warning on any end every forum I can find.

If they refund my money, I will let this form know as soon as possible.
Otherwise, right now, I'd say steer clear of this site at all costs.

Misleading scumbags

I did the usual acceptance of the terms and conditions with out reading every sentence in there. This turned out to be an expensive mistake after they started charging $75/month after the 7 day trail had ended. Some arsehole who owns this business is deliberately misleading consumers and getting rich from it.

Videoblocks misleading

This is one of the most evident of Internet tricks. Seek other content providers, before falling into this deception.
Hinder you how to unsubscribe the 8th overcharging. After the customer service your account is not in your database.
Here almost automatic response after several days post...

Hello,
Your 7 day trial began on the 8th of January and needed to be cancelled by the 14th of January. Due to
the fact the account was cancelled late and clips were downloaded you are not eligible for a refund.
When you signed up you had to verify that you read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions before
you were allowed to proceed to the second page to enter your credit card information. The Terms and
Conditions state in the section labeled Free Trial Details, that the account must be cancelled by the end
of the trial period or it will be automatically upgraded to the monthly membership. Once you clicked the
box agreeing to these terms you were allowed to proceed to the next page where the same information
regarding the requirement to cancel by the end of the trial was written out directly next to the fields in
which you are required to enter your credit card information. You may have access to the account for a
month.

Their free trial cost me $ 80. While I honestly tried to cancel my account on day 7.
On the eighth day they took my money ...
Their way of earning money - do not sell movies and audio. They take your money through a trap arranged on their website. If you had the misfortune to Sign up for them-better accomplish your goal quickly (but the link how to do this is very small, I just could not find it at the right time).

rip off, hidden rules

Almost the same bad experience as above.
after the 7-day free trial, they charged me $79
it wasn't clear at all that after the week they would charge me, i thought it is just a free week, and i put my credit card just for accountability.

i go the website and asked to cancel the subscription to have a refund (even partial), i filled the short application, then clicked cancel
what happened is that they cancelled my account on the website instantly.

i called them, she told me i have nothing to do for you, the unhelpful employee called Abby

Free Trail Trap again

This site provides video clips of okay quality. I was going to see if they were fitting my needs and subscribed to a "7 days free trial". To ensure no misuse of the free trial, I was asked to give my Credit Card number. Stupid me :-(

I spend a couple of days finding some videos that I thought were useful, but concluded that they did not fit my needs. On day 9 I deleted my account, but my money was drawn anyway.
