The Shed Party
I chose Waltons for my shed not because they are the cheapest but I believed they were the best value for money, I was to be proved right on that score.
No sooner had I ordered my shed when I got a call from Waltons informing me it would be delivered in a few days, very impressive and even more so when it arrived first thing in the morning on the correct day. The delivery guy was cheerful despite the fact that he had a long haul down the lane with my shed.
The shed was errected by two chaps in less than a day and everything fitted together wonderfully well and the instructions were faultless.
We all celebrated with copious amounts of wine whilst admiring the shed on a barmy sunny evening.

Great Item Great company
I bought the shed and was very pleased with the communications , delivery was when they had arranged and the delivery man was very helpful, the only thing i would recommend is the double door hinges were a little flimsy and i replaced them with some wickes stronger black thicker grade of metal which were ideal and only £4.00 so overall my experience with Waltons was very good.

Great value for money
Ordering was simple and delivery speed exceptional.
With regards to the building itself there were a few minor snags. Improvement is necessary in the quality of finishing of the panels e.g. Framework edging was not flush with the boards on a number of panels, this causing remedial work to assemble correctly! Numbering of the panels would also help with identifying when assembling.
Overall, now it is assembled and decorated inside, we love it!

Extremely fast and efficient service!
Placed my order online. Couldnt get the delivery date I initially wanted. Got a call the next day asking if I could accept delivery on the date I had initially requested. That was a result! I would buy from Waltons and would recommend them.

Good stuff!
I'm very pleased with my greenhouse so far. I bought a 6 x 6 and it seems big enough for my requirements. It did take a bit of assembling but we got there in the end. It can mostly be done by one person, but help is needed to carry the frames into position. Since assembly, we have had some very strong winds and I am pleased to say that my greenhouse is still intact. I would recommend it's purchase.

two months after ordering a gazebo...still no delivery date!
I ordered a gazebo two months ago and have been misinformed on many occasions by Waltons about the availability of this product. I have been given 2 delivery dates, both times called back to tell me it was not in stock after all! I simply cannot get a date for delivery, so will be cancelling and going elsewhere. By the way, this gazebo is still advertised for sale now on the website, whoever orders it should know they will not be given a date for delivery if they can get hold of it at all.

Reasonable product delivered well.
We bought a garden shed and the product is satisfactory. The delivery firm delivered the shed to the back garden (so down an alley) which is further than most will deliver. The overlap shed on the other hand is not built particularly robustly. I had to adapt the build with the front panel in particular being turned upside down, otherwise there would have been an enormous gap at the side. However, it looks the part, even if the overlap is not correct at the front, and is dry inside. The price is reasonable, though would have preferred a better build for the cost.

Poor customer service, waited two weeks and still no delivery!
Stay well clear of this company. Ordered a wooden house for my daughter over two weeks and paid the extra £10 to get this delivered on a Saturday. Never turned up on the Saturday so I then had to phone up Monday and rearrange another Saturday delivery and yet again it didn't get delivered, its now two days before my daughters birthday and still no sign. Every time I phone I'm told it's out for delivery but he hasn't been. Feel totally let down by Waltons and looks as if my daughter won't get her house in time for her birthday. I don't normally write reviews but ill be panning this company at every opportunity I get. What do I say to my daughter now on her birthday?

Outstanding quality and cheaper than B&Q
These fence panels are excellent quality and value for money - cheaper than B&Q and Wickes locally. Delivery was on time as arranged.

Excellent service and shed
Shed arrived very quickly. It took 2 of us about 3 hours to assemble. You will need power screw driver. Nice large doors makes it easy to get mower in and out. Eco shed base system worked well and stops base rotting.

Very disappointed, different to what we ordered.
We ordered a 12'x 8' contemporary summerhouse with side shed. What attracted us was the height of the whole construction and doors. Moreover, the most fabulous point was that this summerhouse opened all the way across the front. Wow! Sadly, Waltons have completely changed the design, reducing the height of the whole thing, now the sun does not come in, the doors are also reduced in height so anyone over 5' 8" will smash their head.... That's us!! It is a liability. As for the summerhouse opening fully across the whole frontage, it doesn't ..... Where we expected the single door to be, is now a fixed wooden panel! Yep, you sit in your summerhouse staring at a wooden panel! So, so disappointing. I contacted Waltons immediately and they were initially very helpful. That changed very quickly and they have refused to take the item back or give a refund. We paid over £1,350 including installation. Now we have a dreadful battle on our hands and are left with a summerhouse in our garden we cannot use and do not want. My biggest mistake was not telling the fitters to take it down and return it to Waltons. Waltons have also changed the photos on the website for this item. Shame they didn't just tell us before we brought it that they have changed the design and measurements. Too quick to take our money, shame on you Waltons.

Product of good quality and delivered quickly. However I was promised it could be delivered into my garden but it was dumped on my driveway during the early hours. Had to take time off work to get it moved.

I ordered this shed as the price was reasonable and the only one i found with double doors.It also arrived very quickly.some bits had to be nailed together but what do you expect at a cheaper price.

Super trellis
We needed to fix an extra panel of trellis next to some old panels, to replace and old arch which was rotten and had started to collapse. The panel arrived very promptly, a day or so earlier than expected (we live fairly close to where they are made), was carried round into the back garden and left where requested. We had someone come to fix it for us and it looks excellent, very well made and finished. Thank you for a very good service.

The house that Pete built!
Purchased the smallest Play house (4 x 4) and base.
Online purchase painless, delivery arranged smoothly. Delivered by nice driver who off loaded and carried the pieces to site location - very helpful, thank you.
We had just finished a patio build and could not face digging out any further (even as small as 4 x4 area and opted for the base, like a shed base. That was problem number one :
The instructions for the base did not seem to 'fit' with the base of the play house, whichever way we turned both things, took apart redid, etc. In the end we decided to do it accordng to the instructions but it still turned out slightly differently!
The underneath of the floor of the playhouse was, i think, supposed to line up with the supports of the base but this did not transpire.
My clever partner managed to secure both the base and floor together, safetly - so after alot of fiddling about and getting cross, it was ok.
I had painted the inside of the little house (tip from previous buyer) prior to building...
Some of the parts did not seem to line up very well, some of the screws, nails were too short or too long for their job, some of the instructions were not the clearest we have followed.
My partner is very good at this sort of thing but he was mystified at some of the instructions.
His electric industrial screwdriver and drill were a necessity and to build with out these would have been impossible...
Having said all that, now it is done and painted outside, with toys in - the little ones are in seventh heaven and delighted with it.
And that's what it's all about :o))

good friendly service, good price
Service was good, I ordered 4 x 3' x' 6' and 21 x 6' x 6', pressure treated, you get a good price if you're ordering more than 10 of the same type, but when i called the sales line, they said the would give me the 4 smaller ones at the discounted rate as well. Delivery was perfect, friendly chap dropped of the panels around 6 in the morning so didn't have to wait around all day to get started with the work. The panels themselves seem ok barring one, the top bar came off when we moved it, this wasn't a problem because I realized I had over ordered and needed to return 3 panels. Waltons was really good about it, they arranged pickup of the panels and have promised a refund on them, I'm still waiting for the money to be credited back but this was only 4 days ago and I know refunds can take a little longer. The only gripe I have is that most interactions with customer service on the phone seems to be pointless unless you are placing a new order. Any changes to an order or returns( i did try to correct my order before it was delivered) has to be emailed to them and they were not the fastest in replying to email, took about 3 or 4 days, but this is a busy period I imagine. All in all, good product, good service, just try not to be an idiot like me and get the order correct in the first place. Will recommend and will buy again(hopefully only after the 15 year anti-rot guarantee period).

Two year old son loves this!
We ordered a Walton's playhouse with slide on a Fridaycanx it arrived on Tuesday. The truck driver was great and unloaded all the parts ready for us to construct.
It took my Dad and my husband about a day and a half to construct and is definitely a two person job. It would've been much easier and quicker if pilot holes had been drilled in the wood but otherwise it went together pretty well.
Our two year old son is thrilled and the playhouse also looks nice in our garden too.

Delivery really good very helpful man, Went together easily despite vague instructions, not enough roofing felt to cover, had to buy another roll but told that waltons will refund the cost so not a big problem just a nuisance. Shed up in less than 2 days by an average diy man.. Looks fantastic really pleased.

quality product but was missing bits
Arrived on time (Monday) but the delivery guy did not have a checklist and we ended up with 2 missing sets of parts which stopped us building it. When i called was told they would take 5 working days to be made, pfff. One set arrived on Friday along with another one i didnt want. The other one arrived the next week. The instructions were for 2 separate structures rather than one which served to confuse. Took me about 10 hours to build with my wife doing the lighter holding work while i did the heavy work.
Millions more nails and screws than you need which was nice. Kids love the end result and it feels very sturdy. The only bit i would have added would have been a magnet to keep the door shut as the wind blows it open.
Overall advice would be to check thoroughly that you receive everything before you let the guy leave.

ugh not nice
bought a green house very disappointed as the frame great the rest cheap and nasty cannot see it lasting already had plastic front panel blown out twice and it is quiet sheltered it is now held together gaffer tape look like casualty patient

Superb surprise!
I ordered A Summerhouse from Waltons because it was the cheapest and at 84, I wasn't expecting it to last me too long!!! It was delivered within 4 days of my order, erected by very charming chaps and the quality astounded me - it was as good as ones I had looked at at double the price. I have recommended to friends as the quality for price is superb.

Would think twice before using again!
After doing a LOT of research into play houses for my daughters I decided with such good reviews I would use Waltons. When I went to order online was very surprised that they only delivered in my area on a mon-weds which is no good for me as I work those days. So I ordered and made arrangements for my next door neighbour to have the keys. I was told at time of ordering I would be contacted 24 hours before and given an idea of time. I was at a later date told this was wrong and delivery was all day. I made it very clear the play house was not to be left outside my house. On the day of delivery I received a text at 7.45 saying they had knocked on both neighbours and they were in bed so left it on my front garden (where it could easily have been pinched). I range straight up and all they said is they might be able to get the driver to go back but he wouldn't be able to knock on the neighbours he would just take it away!! How ridiculous. Having said all that I am pleased with the quality of the finished shed, although it wasn't the easiest to put up as half the panels and pieces weren't square.

Summer Sometime
Waltons 8X6 Summerhouse - Octagonal - Leaded.
The on-line order for the Summerhouse was easy, with all monies being immediately deducted from my account. However, I was disappointed by the tardy response to my queries, with respect to additional erection requirement. Consequently, I phoned Waltons, only to discover they had no knowledge of my email with photograph of the proposed site. This resulted in resending of original email plus a further email to offer my assistance.
The product was as described, competitively priced and of a fairly good standard.
The erection took just over 3 hours (1702 to 2010) and again I was a little disappointed, 8 pieces were incorrectly fitted (now corrected), the bottom bolt was broken and I later had to plane the doors to fit correctly.
Conclusion:- Try not to pull your hair out if you communicate with Waltons for I can recommend the product. However, if you can assemble it yourself, do so!

Appalling quality and abysmal customer service. Do not buy from Waltons!
Purchased the 12 x 10 Waltons Groundsman Tongue and Groove Apex Modular Workshop at a cost of £989.85. I opted for self assembly as I had trusted tradesmen willing to assist.
The list of problems with this product is endless. It is flimsy and almost every pre fixed screw in the panels has caused the very thin wood to split. There is damage/bits broken off to corners of the front panels which hadn't been caused in transit as they were in wrapping. There is only one roof truss supplied for the 12ft length which the joiners say is insufficient for any snow load on the roof. The truss is wider than the internal floor dimensions and required substantial alteration before the whole thing would fit together. The lock supplied does not fit where it is supposed (it is left hand instead of right hand where the holes have been drilled). The shed took much longer to erect than it should have and I incurred extra cost for this.
When I contacted Waltons with photographic evidence, they replied apologising and offering to replace any parts but I pointed out that it would end up costing me even more to take the shed apart and replace the faulty parts, I also doubted whether they would have separated without further damage. Their response was to offer me £10 as a good will gesture!!!!
Needless to say I rejected this and to date they have not replied to my last email stating that I felt that their offer is an insult.
