Way surpassed my expectations
Look when you’re looking at buying an expensive watch online you are going to be very cautious and doubt that there really are great deals on genuine watches out there. After looking on the web for sometime I opted to go with Watchfinder because of the fantastic layout and ease of use of their website. The variety of new and used watches was also very good, I found the model of the watch I wanted and rather than just purchase online I thought I would call them first, the phone was answered my a very knowledgeable member of staff who put my mind at rest and went into great depth in regards to the watch I wanted, I purchased the watch online whilst on the phone as I was still a bit nervous and it all went through fine. Now believe it or not the watch arrived at my house at just before 10am the next day exactly how it had been described and I am over the moon with it. If all websites operated like this then I can’t see why anyone wanting to buy a watch wouldn’t buy from these Guys.

Brilliant service
I have been very impressed by the service. I was told that the watch would take up to the 5 weeks to arrive but they got it to me in 4. When the money was taken the watch arrived the next morning at 7am via Royal Mail. I will be using the company again in the future with the savings that I made I am sure that will be sooner rather then later.

Excellent Service
I ordered a new Bell & Ross from Watchfinder and was promised delivery in 3 weeks - it arrived 2 weeks earlier than promised - and the price was significantly lower than anywhere else I could find.
I then sold through them a used Omega which achieved the price they recommended very quickly .

Exellent service !!!
Both thier website and telephone service are really good, quick responce to e mails, and on the phone.
They are not only cheaper than high street retailers, they will price match other web sites, which they did for me.
They are very knowledgeable people, I bought a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Automatic, which after payment I received promptly, in the box with the paperwork and the dealer's address from which they sourced it, of course with full warranty.
I will be happy to reccomend them to anyone with a passion for watches, great second hand collection as well, !! check em out !

Great item at a great price
I asked the company if they could price match another website which they managed and even reduced it a little more which even paid for the postage. I was told they would update me when the item was expected in once the deposit was paid but it should be no more than 3-4 weeks.
Monday came and went with no news and so the rest of the week, however once the item was in stock it was sent very quickly.
In general a good service that was just a little let down, but I would probably use again considering how much was saved on the highstreet price

Very happy with Watchfinder, much less happy with the Royal Mail service
As I live in Australia, the thought of spending 4000 pounds on a watch was a little daunting but the reviews of Watchfinder were good so I went for it. All aspects of my dealings with Watchfinder were first class and I would use them again without hesitation. However, the so called tracking service provided by the Royal Mail was woeful. I had one message telling me that my package had been picked up for delvery to Australia and that was it. This message did not change for 10 days, so you can imagine my relief when my Rolex turned up. The hassle caused by not knowing where the watch was is the only thing that prevented me giving 5 stars.

Generally Good Service
The service was generlly good from start to finish however I did ask for a copy of the paperwork for a recent service that the watch recieved and did not recieve it, after being told that it would be included with the watch.

Efficient friendly and believable

I read all the reviews before contacting watchfinder about buying a rolex daytona.
I found them very helpful and very reasonable in the price of the watch i bought, infact it was £1000 - £1500 cheaper than every were else unless you wanted to wait 5 years with a rolex dealership!!
They also took my rolex yatchmaster off me to sell and the price they said they would get was alot more reasonable than the few offers i had previousley been quoted!!
All in all im a very pleased customer and would recommend watchfinder too any off my friends.

Apparently they couldn't find my Cartier watch at any of their recognised distributors, so it was ordered directly from Cartier.
I was kept informed of the manufacturing process, and when it was delivered to Watchfinder, they sent it on to me next day delivery.

WOW ! what an honest and professional service..............
I was a little apprehensive about buying second hand at first but, I'm so glad I finally chose Watchfinder . Almost perfect
Watchfinder did everything they promised. I was frustrated by the delays in delivery of my brand new Daytona but I don't think it was their fault.
When they've got your part-ex watch and they're holding the difference payment for the new one, it requires a degree of trust that they'll actually deliver as promised !
Well they did, same as the first time I used them. Very happy to recommend them.

MISSED BY A MILE!
Item ordered 6/4/10 Item received 4/6/10 This was a birthday present wanted for the 10/5/10. Really not worth the trouble!
Staff were really nice and helpful but I could not reccommend this company, they let me down very badly. The `salt in the wound` I could have walked into any of several high street retailers and bought the item over the counter. All this for a saving of £40!

Agreeable purchase

Watchfinder managed to source a Longines watch I had decided was the one I really wanted, but that I was struggling to find online. Non Completion of Order
I placed an order in good faith and was told that 4 weeks is pretty out of the norm and the watch should be here before that. I was told after nearly 7 weeks that there is another 3 weeks wait as long as I confirm that I will wait, when I had already done the deposit thing?? I reluctantly accepted this to find out 2 days later that the watch is unavailable! I hope the reund is full and returns quickly.

I recently purchased a used Rolex GMT ll from watchfinder online. This, to date being the largest transaction i have made via the internet, I was slightly dubious about parting with such an amount, as we are all aware, there are a lot of unsavoury characters out there along with many horror stories. However, any fears I had were short lived as a short time afterwards and following a full Rolex service, I received my order along with box and certification, delivered by royal mail courier exactly when I was told that it would arrive. The watch is in pristine condition, unmarked and literally as new. A great deal from watchfinder.

Worst experience buying on line !
I ordered and paid for a Rolex that they said they could get in and basically they couldn't !. The run around and lies they kept giving me were unacceptable. They tell you they can get a particular watch and take your deposit and will string you along with lies until they can get hold of it. I ended up paying the full price from a store and wish Id done it sooner and I wish id never heard of Watchfinder.....

Alex from Watchfinder was excellent when he helped me sell my old Rolex datejust and purchase new Rolex Explorer 11. Process was very smooth, quality of new watch very good with all paperwork in order. Saved £500 on high street price as well! Great first time, bad second
My first experience with Watchfinder was excellent with an immaculate Rolex DayDate sold to me as quoted, no complaints and a lovely new model. My reason for 3 stars is that I went back to them for a Submariner on the basis of initial service and this time it was terrible. No interest in me at all and when they said they would call back they never did.
When I spend this kind of money I expect excellent service and this time they didnt deliver. Bought my Sub from Finewatchco instead.

Honest people, excellent service
Bought my watch absolutely new with box, papers and original guarantee for £3,000 less than jewellers in Bond St were quoting. These guys were much more open, honest and easy to deal with. I did not have to haggle down a price which was obviously above market or put up with dubious sales tactics such as telling me list prices were going up the next week so I should buy today - which one retailer did.
They also fully explained issues of cost (no hidden charges), insurance (its fully insured to your doorstep) and right of return (7 days)
Service was excellent - everything happened exactly as they said. A nice touch was that the time had been properly set on my watch when I opened the box.

Excellent service, excellent communication excellent watch
I knew from the outset that my watch would have to be sourced, so I wasn't expecting next day delivery. In the end it took about 4 weeks from my order date for the watch to arrive, but i was given updates twice a week from my contact there as to what the status of my order was. The watch itself is genuine and absolutely gorgeous and £450 cheaper than the rrp. My husband has used them twice before and was also delighted with the service. I'd definately recommend them without reservation.

I was lucky enough to obtain Bvlgari watch at heavily discounted price, due to the fact that it was second hand, at three (no. 3) years old.
The gentleman I spoke to on the telephone, who liaised between myself and private seller, was very personable and made me feel very welcome, building an instant client based relationship and gave me the impression that my custom was as important as someone buying a watch at fifty times its price.
The watch arrived by special delivery, as the dealer said it would, and was well packaged, so that the leather box, containing the watch would come to no harm.
The watch was exactly as shown in the photo, but I was disappointed to find some very minor scratches on the glass of the watch, that were not mentioned in the advertisement. I can understand that the watch is second hand and that by knowing this I should have asked my vendor, during our conversation, what the condition of the watch was and if, in his opinion, it devalued the overall appearance of the watch. The case itself is in fantastic condition and I have received many fine comments regarding it and where it was obtained.
I would highly recommend watchfinder.com, but would suggest to anyone buying a second hand timepiece to inquire into the overall condition of the watch and be offered any close up photos or detailed descriptions of any blemishes that may tarnish the overall appearance of the watch.

Tremendous service and selection

Excellent Service
I purchased a black j12 36mm for my fiance for her birthday, i ordered the watch and was given a delivery date, watchfinder phoned me one week before delivery to advise the watch would be one day late, it arrived on the revised date and a received a courtesy call that day to check i was happy with the item, the level of service provided was exemplary and i will use definately reccomend them, if all internet companies were this effective the high strret would be in serious jeapordy.

felt a little cheated

Professional service
I found the TAG Heuer watch that I had always wanted and after filling in a quick online form with assistnce from the girl on the 'phone the deal was done. The watch arrived as promised after a confimation call to my mobile and I am delighted. The condition is exactly as described and at half the price of a new one. The right watch at a very good price
To see a watch in the rolex catalogue and say one day i would like to own one of those (oyster perpetual Day-Date in platinum) then to see the watch in new condition but half the price of the new one...I had to have it.

best service ever
i bought a breitling navitimer as a gift but i put the wrong one into my basket by mistake. when i was told the watch was in stock, the photo made me realise what i'd done. after explaining this to the watchfinder team they re-ordered the correct one without hesitation. they didn't need to as it was my fault.i have bought several watches on the basis of this service and price.

Good staff great service!
This is the second time I have dealt with watchfinders. Their service is excellent and they keep their deadline. I do hve one complaint though.....tried getting in touch with them through their website and 0845 number but did not get any response....had to find their landline, however once I was able to get in touch with somebody it was smooth sailing there after. Good bunch of staff and great service overall!

Promises promises
I bought a Rolex Lady Datejust last year.
My initial enquiry in October was for a used 'as new & unworn' Feb 2009 model, the watch wasn't exactly what I was looking for as it had a black face and I wanted 'champagne'.
I asked if Watchfinders could change the face and was told that they couldn't, but that Rolex could change it witha rough estimate of 400 pounds, with the anticipated hassle and time constraint I decided to purchase a new watch.
To further complicate matters Watchfinders reverted to me with an 'offer' because the local Rolex rep had requested a black face and that they could now switch the black face for a champagne face as I had originally requested, unfortunately the price was misquoted as 3900+ for the used but unworn Feb 2009 watch as opposed to the 3500+ quote for a new watch.
I was quoted a very good price for new watch (3500+) and placed an order on Oct 22nd with a two-three week delivery target, at this point I highlighted that I expected the watch to be delivered by Nov 7th and was told that the order would be given priority, in the end the watch came late (Nov 13th) and although the watch itself is exactly what was ordered for a very competitive price the service and promise of delivery date updates were never followed through.
I may use watchfinders in future but I wouldn't expect them to keep any promises relating to delivery dates and I would cross check all their quotes as they have certainly mixed up their price quotations in their dealings with me.

An understated service in that all my focus was on the product that I bought.
I have always loved watches and finally had the means and opportunity to purchase one. The website gave me loads to look at and compare (liked the online spec too).
When it came to choosing, the only transactions was unremarkable, unremarkable insomuch as I was focussing on getting the watch, all the other details were prompted and then handled by Watchfinder. What more do you want?

Terrible service as soon as I'd paid
My initial contact with watch finder was brilliant. They successfully tracked down a rolex which was end of range very quickly and I arranged to have it shipped to my current address in Dubai, UAE.
I paid an additional 40gbp for it to be "couriered" Watchfinder in fact sent it by royal mail post, which only tracks it until it leaves the UK and is insured for a value of 500gbp. Not so great when the watch was worth over 4000gbp. They proceeded to put the wring address on the package and it took over a week for me to track it down in Dubai and invloved me travelling to 5 different post offices.
TOTALLY unacceptable, especially when I paid so much extra for postage when on the package it stated postage was 10gbp.
The worst part was when I was contacting watchfinder to try and sort this and find out where on earth my watch was (as I said, no record of it as soon as it leaves the UK) I was told that it wasn't their problem.
Have actively discouraged friends form using Watchfinder

The Longines was not in stock, however, I was kept informed on expected delivery dates and progress.

Good face to face experience but didn't follow through on promise
When I bought my Rolex I was promised a written valuation for the watch & also I agreed that a valuation would be provided for another Rolex watch that I took with me. I received neither valuation despite phone calls & emails. However I am very satisfied with the watch that I bought.

Brilliant firm
I would like to say that I have purchased numerous watches off this firm for years, some brand new and used. I have dealt with the same sales person all the time and she has always been prompt to answer questions and be available to show me watches of interest to me at their showroom in maidstone. Fantastically Great Service, Fantastically Great Price and man what a watch!
My experience started with a recommendation from a colleague, from there everything was transparent, professional, informative and more importantly friendly. I was asked when I would like to be informed about the status of my order, truth be known I didnt need to hear about the status....just wanted to hear it had arrived. I was told my watch was going to take around 6 weeks to get in....so being impatient I emailed watchfinder about 4 weeks later asking if it was still on target for 6 weeks, the reply was something along the lines of....we'll need to check with supplier before committing to the date and they would get back to me. 2 days later a response came back saying we've got it lets arrange delivery.....so earlier than anticipated and no 'BS' straight talking, friendly and to me....a quality service, what you hear is what you get. Thanks guys top job and have recommended you to everyone looking for a new watch!....Having received the watch next day from arranging delivery was delighted...that was until I dropped it and took a chunk out of it but hey....my fault! Fantastic service
I have been so impressed with this company. I bought a Cartier watch for my daughter and was worried about buying online from a company I hadn't heard from but only found good reviews. Even over seas
I have always wanted an Omega Seamaster. So towards the end of my six month tour I phoned Watchfinder from Afghan explained I was over seas and could I put a deposit down and pay the rest on return. Yes yes and yes were the answers I got not only did I return home to my lovely wife but a lovely watch to.

Not that Happy
I bought an Oris Ladies watch from this sight for £500 and 3 days after payment it was up for even cheaper but they would not honour the price drop . And then i waited a long time for it . Stupidly I then asked them to get me a Bell&Ross Phantom limited edition which was retail £2500 . I picked them as they promised to get it to me earlier than anyone else , and guess what .............. !! They had 6 months interest on £500 deposit , and in the end i cancelled my order and got it from an official reliable stockist . I wouldnt use Watchfinder ever again despite the endless emails per year . I was told in the case of the Oris , that they dont make enough money on the sale to warrant them selling it really -- nice !!!
Sad thing is I now own 11 watches and they lost my custom to be fair

Patience rewarded
Watchfinder fulfilled my quest for a white gold and diamond Chopard watch for my wife's 50th birthday at a price some 20% below that quoted by the Chopard UK boutique.
There was some delay obtaining the watch, since the first supplier wanted to send the watch and warranty papers separately after a 4 week wait, which seemed very suspicious. However, a second supplier was able to provide the watch after a 10 days or so.
Once informed the watch was ready for delivery, it arrived within 48 hours and my wife is thrilled with it, since it was the one watch she had really liked out of 100s that she looked at in various watch outlets.
One word of warning - check your house contents insurance company if you intend to buy a high value watch, since ours refused to insure the Chopard watch and we had to obtain specialist insurance cover.

Fantastic Company and Great Service
I have used this company for two watches, a breitling and gucci. Both were delivered next day and well packaged. The only negative and it is a very small one is that the Gucci came without the original packaging which was specified in the advert and I was told it would come in a normal watch box. However the watch box is plastic easter egg style box which looks pretty poor as a gift. But overall 100% recomended. Thanks

Rubbish Firm
I only gave a star as this will not allow minus...
I attempted to buy an Omega Seamaster from this firm as an urgent gift.
Despite being charged on my card same day and then filling out a further info questionarre to verify who I was, I then recieved a call from a gent who pretty much slated myself my own firm and my credibility....as we operate from a hotmail account.
Same account detalis were sufficient for a HSBC wealth acc/IG markets trading account with 500k line of credit.
Thankfully Swiss watches direct saved the day....order completed in 5 mins, watch despatched 20mins later and arrived next day

Very fast sourcing of exactly the watch I wanted, delivered 2 weeks early
Good communication, efficient service. Some confusion over some obscure aspects of my purchasing requirements which required some research on their part but in no way hindered the process nor caused any problems.
Best of all, terrific price coupled with a fast turnaround and overall efficiency. My new watch, with full manufacturer warranty stamped and properly recorded was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't bother buying a watch through a high street retailer again when Watchfinder saved me 20% on a £5000+ watch.
