xoom stopped my send which was to save a dengue patient and they might now die

I would say I will be very CAREFUL to use xoom again. They ask me to much of my personal business of the send an subject me to possible problems. In july 2012 the Mindanao NPA burned 1 of our homes and shot a relation. I am extremely careful of tell my personal information. Xoom refused todays send an was needed for a dengue blood transfusion in Philippines. I will have to do a send by another means but the dengue patient will die. Xoom is ok if you send money a few times a year in small amounts and do not care if you give out personal information to people you do not know which is very really none of their business. The USA used to be a free country but it has become more of a military dictatorship with the US military getting over $500 billion dollars in funds in just 2012. So transfer companies seem to be under Government control or Military control.

FAST, SAFE & VERY CONVENIENT

I highly recommend this Xoom money transfer. Its very fast, safe & most of all very convenient, just stay at home to send money.

Fast & Efficient, Best Deal on the Internet

This company has had excellent service for me. I have a fiancee and soon to be wife in the Philippines and when I started to send money I found Xoom to be the best deal on the internet. Low flat fee and the highest exchange rate between our two currencies. The service has always been fast as well. Most transactions have completed within 2 to 3 hours of businesses being open in the Philippines.

xoom is very fast in transfering money to india

i have good experience in transfering the money to india with in one day. but when i am trying to refer to my frinds it is not working. i dont know what is the problem.

xoom is Quick and i had no problem till now

I had transferred money using xoom 4 times to India. Let me do comparison with other company.xoom has transfer limit of $2500 as using ICICI and HDFC i could able transfer $5000 at a time. But it is really quick since i could able to receive money within a day instead other banks it will take 5 days.

In HDFC,ICICI It takes 2 to 3days in adding new USA bank account ,it will deposit less than a dollar in our account and if we enter the exact amount it would allow you to add the new account. but in xoom you can directly add and activate the account immediately. not sure how much it is safe...

Works for me

Iv'e used Xoom a few times to send money to Mexico and I like the convenience of having the recipients info and your info as well. With just a couple of clicks your money is on the way and in 15 minutes or less it's there ready for pickup any time of day, even on weekends when the banks are closed. I use the Soriana store for pickup because my family lives just a block away and it's very convenient and is hassle free for me sending and for them receiving. The first time I used XOOM I called Customer Service to ask a couple of questions and the young lady on the phone was very polite, courteous and answered all my questions in a very professional manner and that told me that the company really cares about their customers and their piece of mind concerning money transactions. I will keep using XOOM whenever I need to send my family money and knowing that the transaction is in very good hands.

NOT A VERY GOOD "COMMUNICATION" WITH BOLIVIA

I USE XOOM BECAUSE I WORK AT HOME; IT WAS BETTER TO JUST CLICK AND SEND MONEY TO MY FAMILY IN BOLIVIA.
I SEND MONEY EVERY MONTH; BUT THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT PEOPLE AT THE BANK TOLD MY FAMILY IN BOLIVIA , THAT "THERE IS NO MONEY" FIFTEEN DAYS AFTER I WAS LOOKING AT MY ACCOUNT AND IT WAS AVAILABLE SINCE I SENT IT!!!. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS (NOBODY ANSWERED IN XOOM) AND E-MAILS, MAGICALLY, IT HAPPENED. THE MONEY WAS THERE! OH! SOME KIND OF "SYSTEM FAILURE"... ?

Envio dinero cada mes, pero esta es la segunda vez que la gente del banco dijo a mi familia en Bolivia que "no había dinero" QUINCE DIAS después que yo estaba mirando mi cuenta y el dinero estaba disponible para recoger el momento en que envié. Después de muchas llamadas (Nadie respondía en Xoom) e e-mails, mágicamente ocurrió: El dinero estaba ahí! oh!... Algún tipo de "falla de sistema"...?

Fast and easy. Need to send money to my daughter who is going to school in the Philippines for rent, schooling, etc. Send once or twice a month. Like the fact I can send anytime I want to. Also, like the fact that now only $4.99 rather and $5.99---every cent counts.

Super Fast and improvement is required

Pros:-
1. Super fast money transfer
2. Notifications and website is very good.
3. There was a non-delivery of money to bank in India. They resolved this issue properly.

Cons:-
1. Exchange Rate needs to be better. As of now comparing to Money2India, the difference 50 Paise(India). This can be further reduced.
2. Not all banks supported like Money2India.
3. Customer service phones are not clear enough. Always echoes and disturbances are there while talking.

Excellent notifications via email and reliable transfers to Brazil.
