I ordered a camera from Simply Electronics by accident. I had two windows open for different suppliers and confused myself by ordering from the wrong one. I had doubts about my rights when ordering from outside the UK. I got worried and suspicious at the end of the ordering sequence when the normal window to my credit card provider opened up and I keyed in the correct information. When I entered this I got a completely blank screen. That wasn't what I expected and it took over half an hour to receive a confirmatory email with an order number. After realizing my mistake, I did a Google search for Simply Electronics and found that they appeared to have had a number of unhappy customers. I emailed Simply Electronics and received a reply the next day (it was probably the middle of the night when they received mine). The email said my order would be expedited immediately to put my mind at rest. Meanwhile I emailed my local trading standards office who phoned me the following day to say that there was no record of Simply Electronics doing anything wrong.
The camera arrived 5 hours later and it is working perfectly. I can therefor say without any hesitation that I have been very satisfied with the service I have received from Simply Electronics. I will certainly use them again in the future when their price is competitive with other suppliers.
