I placed an order with this company and took the day off work to wait in for the delivery on the specified day. Late the day before I receive an email saying product is out of stock and won't be delivered by which time it was too late to cancel my day off work. Lost confidence in seller so asked for a refund which took several emails chasing and to which I received no reply. No customer service and nothing but an email to contact them with.
I ordered flowers on a Sunday for delivery the following Wednesday. I ordered before I read the reviews and once I'd read them was worried my flowers wouldn't turn up or they'd be of poor quality etc. I was pleasantly surpirsed, they turned up on the right day, were wonderfully presented and my friend loved them.
Ordered a fridge/freezer for delivery 2 weeks later. Comet took my money then informed me 3 days before delivery that it wasn't in stock. Due to move to my new home in 1 week but have to wait 5 days for refund so can't order a replacement. Not good enough.
I rang Thursday and I was told they would price match to another site I'd seen a fridge/freezer on. Rang today (Friday) to place order and also order a washing machine at the same time (total value £968) and was told they wouldn't honour price match after all. I don't have much time left before I move due to already being let down by Comet. Will avoid this site in future.
