disgraceful service, manners and morals
I bought a set of 4 winter tyres back in December.
As online payment didn't go through I had to call the sales team. On the phone, it was confirmed (and I took time to make them double check with warehouse status of order) that the four tyres were in stock.
Following day I had a call to let me know that the garage of my choice wasn't available and I, easily, changed to another garage. Four hours from that I had a call to let me know that the tyres were out of stock and that they couldn't fulfil my order. I explained that as they had already taken the money, and double and triple confirmed availability, it was a contractual obligation to provide me with the tyres or something similar.
They cheekily (an understatement) offered me a set of tyres that were 120 pounds more expensive and, after a couple of unbelievable conversations with the director himself [name removed] ,once I rejected these (as they were beyond my budget), they simply told me to wait for a refund.
I have had several recommendations for this company but based on this sour experience i wouldn't touch them with a bargepole as i firmly believe that a company builds respect and trust in times of trouble (such as mine).
