Pleased with my purchase

The Sanyo rechargeable battery charger arrived in good time and in good condition. I would use this supplier again.


Could not care less about the customer - you can yodel for it.

Delivery was promised on Wednesday 20 March and I waited all day. When it did not arrive I called Yodel and Jack promised it would be delivered today Thursday on an early delivery. I had explained that I was going to install the item at my daughter's house 80 miles away. She has taken time off from work today.
Apparently, Yodel could not find the address!!
I have made 4 calls to Yodel and 2 calls to the Vendor (The Plasma Centre) plus emails.
I have again called Yodel and find that it will not be delivered today but will arrive tomorrow. Apparently they do not care about the customer as they cannot arrange for delivery by special means - e.g a taxi would be helpful as they are within 10 miles.
So Yodel believe that someone can wait in and miss work for three days!
Can you please let me know what compensation I am due for my time waiting in and my time to make the many necessary phone calls?
Needless to say Plasma Centre offered me £5.00 (as they are the Vendor) and have (foolishly ) contracted Yodel to deliver.
I suggest you do not use either Yodel or the Plasma Centre.

Delivery service abysmal and my income was affected by delays

Following an email which gave a days notice (which I received on a day I was working and got home to find I had missed delivery) I rescheduled and waited in. Delivery was not made. I rescheduled again and delivery was not made. Finally I rescheduled for a third time and on the morning of the delivery I received an email to say goods had been returned to Go Electrical. I finally received the goods 8 days after first delivery date.
They say no one was in but it is a way of getting the item through the system so it can be rescheduled - despite calls to DPD couriers delivery they were unable to influence the situation. I also responded to an email from Go Electrical not to return the goods but I had no response
Avoid Go Electrical if at all possible. Their Courier is no better.

Please accept our sincerest apologies that you encountered problems with our Courier. We dispatch items on a next working day service so an email is sent to customers the day before delivery to inform them that the item is on its way. DPD scan the parcels and plan a route on the morning of delivery so unfortunately they are unable to give a time slot any earlier. When DPD are unable to deliver we email customers to advise that the parcel has been reconsigned to be returned to us, and ask if they would like the item sending out again. We are very sorry that your email wasn’t responded to. We will pass your comments onto our courier to make them aware of the situation as they are constantly working to improve their delivery service. Thank you for shopping with Go-Electrical.
