Not liking the positioning of my crest on an initial order, I specified a more practical location on a followup order, which involved a newly designed family crest. However, I was disappointed to receive the finished article with the crest in the obviously "standard" location, but well on time.
Having drawn the discrepancy to the attention of Customer Services, I was annoyed at then being required to produce and send photographic proof of the manufacturing error, that had eluded their product supervision and final inspection staff. However, all the stops were then pulled out for the manufacture and delivery of a conforming item within the originally promised time scale.
Needless to say, the standard of excellence achieved in reproducing a very complex and detailed pattern of embroidery was superlative, as was the attention paid in achieving the deadline for delivery without the need to return the original garment.
On my initial order, for a Medium size Fruit of the Loom sweatshirt and a Small size in a slightly cheaper one, I was surprised that the neck of the smaller size was larger than that of the medium, more suitable for accommodating a bull elephant:). There is a case for including rationalised chest and neck measurements on the website!
