The enjoyment of track day expierence can usually be judged by the standard of the drivers on any given day.
Wednesday 13 June 2012 (evening session) at Donington Park was spoilt by drivers with either ignorance, deafness, arrogance or just plain stupidity. Non of these traits I hold in high regard.
The overtaking rule is there for everyones safety and is hammered home in the driver briefing. Which part of "by mutual consent" some drivers struggle with is beyond me. Blue Porsche(Old 911) and Maroon Skyline come to mind. If you want to overtake anywhere, get your ARDS and give it a go properly. Otherwise obey the systems put in place.
