This is one of those stores that you walk into intending to buy ONE thing and walk out with a $300 credit card bill. Yes we do pay the fee annually to shop here for some things that we can't get at the local supermarket, mostly because we use a LOT of something. But we juste seem to pick up too many items that wind up going stale or that we really didn't need so much of because most everything is mega sized.
Twice we've bought food that has been recalled for some nasty reason, usually finding out about it after we've ingested it, so stay away from the samples if you value your health. It appears that people come here to eat for free, which I find very funny especially when I see the same people return again and again to the same line.
They rarely carry anything gluten free and vegetarian and nothing is marked to the effect. They only accept one credit card, which is a huge inconvenience. That being said, on a rainy or cold weekend, when we have absolutely nothing better to do, we go there just to kill time and people-watch. It would be cheap entertainment if we'd remember to leave the AMEX card home.
I recently became somewhat housebound and was in a bit of a fix when having to buy greeting cards for Father's Day. After all, I didn't want to ask my husband to take me to a store with limited card inventory and wait while I bought his cards!
How nice to be able to design my own cards or buy some really cute cards predesigned by some really inventive people. They came out great and were delivered on time and in great condition.
I was one of the original Macy's in Herald Square shoppers from New York. For the last few years I've seen their retail stores go downhill and it's sad.
In my few shopping experiences with them, I've wound up shopping elsewhere as their online prices are not competitive at all.
Whenever I buy anything online, I first look for the Paypal sign. If it's there, I don't hesitate; if not, I usually balk a bit.
My only complaint is my husband and I use the same card to charge things, and Paypal won't let us have separate accounts. This limits his ability to use the site, which is at the very least inconvenient.
That, in my opinion, is my highest praise. I've been ordering my pet food from another website, but one frustration after another drove me to look elsewhere. I will be ordering all of my dog's food from you from now on, especially since you have my brands for all three of my picky eaters.
