Saves me tons of time keeping my portfolio updated

I love jAlbum because the way it saves me time. I organize my picture files on my computer using folders in a structured way. I only have to add new pictures to my portfolio tree and then jAlbum automatically reflect this on my online portfolio.
However I have some large albums which cause memory errors. I altered the jalbum.ini to allow it to use much more RAM than configured by default. These days multigigabyte PC's are the rule rather than the exception. So I changed -Xmx into 1024. For performance reasons I also let it allocate 1G from the start with -Xms set to the same value. Your mileage may vary but I strongly recommend to increase at least Xmx (max RAM used by Java), especially if you have errors while generating/updating an album.

Thank you for this hint. Increasing the memory does help in some cases, but we've also seen the opposite, so that's why we keep the default at the somewhat lower level (800MB)
